| 0 | Do I tattle on my ex wife and her paramour? (After divorce is final)You’re living in a fantasy land. If you seriously believe just because someone teaches BJJ they have those virtues, then you’re seriously naive. People are not perfect. This absolutist mentality is very childish. But Go off my guy. Do you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/06/26 10:02 PM |

| -3 | Do I tattle on my ex wife and her paramour? (After divorce is final)I choose peace for myself. You’re free to choose what you want. Other people do everyday. I refuse to obsess over a shitty woman who I don’t want anymore. That’s just me though. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/06/26 04:58 PM |
| -2 | Do I tattle on my ex wife and her paramour? (After divorce is final)I get it. It’s upsetting. But this is the wrong approach to your own personal healing. Also, they’re going to crash and burn anyways. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/06/26 04:37 PM |
| -18 | Do I tattle on my ex wife and her paramour? (After divorce is final)Why pull your kid out of Jiu Jitsu class? Is she happy? Is that a good school? Is she having fun? Why involve your kid in the mess? Also, why do you care? Do you go to that class yourself? If she sucks, then it’s time to move on. Retribution does nothing for you. It’s a fool’s errand. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/06/26 04:15 PM |

| 1 | Breadwinner Wife7 year marriage likely won’t get alimony but he’s definitely entitled to child support, and 50% of all assets. I hope he wakes up before it’s late. Men always try to be rational and lenient but most times you’re not even realizing the uphill bullshit you have to face. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/06/26 06:25 PM |
| 4 | Breadwinner WifeThe fact that you have to mention ‘I didn’t marry her for her money’ and women never have to say that with any type of reserve should tell you what’s wrong with this system and culture. Congratulations by the way. You’re entitled to child support and 50% of assets. I suggest you call a lawyer immediately. Convince yourself of fairness and integrity in this process all you want, but when it starts, you will not recognize your former spouse. Go see a lawyer. Today. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/06/26 10:30 AM |
| -5 | Did anyone else end up divorced shortly after giving in to pressure to have children? You must be watching Fox News. Otherworldly take. Do you really believe this? | 2 | The Hardest Part Is Telling Her I Want a DivorceNot having children with this person is huge. At some point you will be done with her. In many states alimony does not apply if the marriage is less than 10yrs. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/05/26 02:45 AM |

| 3 | Wife’s Having An Affair. The problem with this is, those people are probably not seeing it from a man’s point of view. It wasn’t the looks. Looks attract us but it’s the other attributes that’s really attractive. People loved the way my ex looked, they always mentioned her looks, to me she sucks so bad. She has good looks don’t get me wrong, but it came with an ugly attitude. So it likely wasn’t just the looks for you and they are shortsighted to think that’s the prize. The looks are never the prize. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/05/26 12:08 AM |
| 5 | Wife’s Having An Affair. This advice here is gold. However only you know if you want to work it out. Typically when women move on emotionally, there’s really no turning back. | 3 | Would you remarry her again?I’m convinced a good portion of women do not completely recover mentally and physiologically from pregnancy. It’s a lot. It’s not their fault but it’s the hand nature dealt. Remember what she was before kids ..? Exactly. My ex was already towing the mental line but we made it work. Minute it was like 6 months after the kid she was a freaking nightmare to deal with. So happy I’m done with her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/26 07:15 PM |
| 3 | Would you remarry her again? No. Without reading. However reading your post, she would be stupid to remarry you. So No again. Move on. It likely wasn’t meant to be. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/26 07:12 PM |

| 8 | Wife just asked to end our marriageDon’t get her to reconsider. She made the decision long time ago. Do not have kids with this person. You are lucky. Believe me. Time to move on. If you’re lonely when you are alone, you are no good. You need to fix that. Don’t fixate being with people as a measure of your worth. I’ve never been happier in my life. I don’t even want to date. Single life is amazing. I go to the gym whenever the fuck I want, eat when I want, house is clean like I left it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/26 10:45 PM |

I was going to hope you don’t have a child with her but I read the last paragraph and.. damn. That sucks. Leave her like last year. It is going to be very difficult because the baby will make the situation 10x worse. Unfortunately. You shouldn’t have had a kid with her. To be fair she’s already checked out. | 12 | Maybe Divorce Made Me a ChauvinistI started having a little of this but I saw it as my ex living rent free in my head. So I shut it down. No woman deserves to ruin my image of women for me. | 1 | Do you trust your lawyer?I trusted my lawyer and it was the best decision. I knew what I wanted and he tailored it to what was possible and cheapest to attain. Believe me there was a time he turned down going to court with me because he said, save the money for the other stuff, but I can come and hold your hand and charge you though. He’s saved my existence and my kids safety. I owe him a lot. I’m one of those suspicious people about lawyers but he really shows up for me. He’s never late and he’s always prepared. | 4 | Wife agreed to work it out? Can I trust her to not change her mind?I admire your optimism. And at the end of the day you need to decide what to do since you will live with that decision. But I can tell you right now, that marriage was over long before you guys had that conversation. People don’t wake up and decide to divorce, it had been premeditated for a long time. My advice is to get a lawyer asap, and prepare yourself to leave. Treat the marriage as over and start moving on. | 1 | Stay away from alcoholWhat a waste of money. It’s a screwed up legal system. The entitlement is crazy. Thinking the default is her getting full custody. Same goes for my ex. She always threatened me with putting me on CS and getting full custody everytime I tried to talk about our marriage / ask for therapy. Didn’t work out for her though. Glad you ended up getting 50/50. Unfortunate it came at a high cost. But honestly, worth it to be honest. | 2 | How do I start to see women again?I feel for you man but the quicker you accept reality the better for your mental health. And future. Think of it as understanding there’s not going back. Things change when they have to. You have done the best you can. It is time to move on. This will help you get into a better thinking space as well. I don’t even care to date. If it happens it happens. I’ll meet women like I always do: randomly. Book stall, coffee shop, etc. Never met any woman on dating sites. Never had to. I just do me. I was in an abusive relationship an felt it was normal because ‘everyone had a tough marriage’ Do not engage with people who underestimate their mental illness I forgot how amazing being single was until now. | 4 | Ex-wife set up security cameras after she left and is now stalking me on Reddit.Move on. If she’s your ex wife, that means the divorce is done correct? Time to save your peace and mental health and move on. You are wasting your time trying to get back with her. It was over for her 9 months ago, she sees she can twiddle you around her thumbs, which is why she even entertains talking to you. You need to move on and do it immediately so you can get on the path of healing, and finding solace with your own personal growth. Get therapy, start moving on. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/03/26 09:42 PM |
| 2 | Need the real answer from actual menThat’s a healthy way to look at it. Don’t let it define you. Honestly sometimes, some people are just not meant for each other. I literally can’t remember when I was truly happy in my marriage. I stayed as long as I did because I refuse to ‘lose’. I’ve never been so happy to give away my vehicle for free to someone else just so they can be out of my life. I forgot what it was like to feel secure, happy. I’m currently single and I’m so happy. I’m not even looking. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/02/26 01:55 AM |

| 2 | Need the real answer from actual menThat’s the thing. You say ‘less attractive’ but clearly not to him. That should tell you there’s something else going besides what you think was important. We are visual animals, but believe me it’s not all about looks. Don’t know the man, not sticking up for him or anything but try to reflect a little why he may have done that. Thats all. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/26 10:59 PM |

It’s like being the best driver that gets T-Boned by the drunken asshole. It’s out of your control. No benefit to getting married at this point. If you must, make sure she makes more than you. | 3 | Anyone out there find happiness, success, love, etc. after divorce?Happiness- 1000% Success- going well. Love- found it, lost it but that’s ok. I am comfortable knowing not everything is meant to be. Honestly I enjoy being single. I’m so happy believe me. If I hit it off with the right person, then sure. I’m not really looking for love, I’m looking for a stable partner, respectful, emotional and physical safety, disciplined, integrity. Pretty much all the things I never had lol. | 1 | How do you manage life with 3 kids after divorce?I don’t have three kids so that must be challenging. I have one but prior to divorce I did practically everything. So this is actually refreshing as she has to pull some weight now. I always planned ahead because I could never rely on her. Planning ahead is a must. In fact my kid knows that about me at this point. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/26 11:25 AM |
| 2 | How do you manage life with 3 kids after divorce?Same here bro. In fact now I get a little free time because she has to bring the child to activities she never did before as that is the rule if it is your turn. I actually I’m working out more, figuring out my next financial move as I actually have time todo those things. I love hanging with my child do not get me wrong, my kid is amazing. But free time is nice too. I like being single too. Divorce has been beautiful for me. I’m so happy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/01/26 11:16 AM |
| 2 | “Are we Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook GroupsYou should read the studies your posting. They one about gray matter volume is not clinically relevant. Or significant. A bunch of your church bros saying pornography is making them feel bad is not the same thing as evidence. But hey, do you. Religion?? lol. Look at all the most religious countries and most irreligious countries. Compare metrics and let me know what you find. Every country steeply embedded has shown worse and worse metrics of all kinds: STEM, life expectancy, happiness etc. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/01/26 11:48 PM |
| 2 | “Are we Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook GroupsI already validated your stance and clarification regarding church mentality. However what the church thinks is never a good metric for a stable life. Religion is always a horrible idea no matter which one. How does porn condition a person? What is informing your position? I’m just trying g to understand. You’re saying that as if it has evidential relevance. Just because you do not like something or it is against your beliefs doesn’t make it bad. Separate the two. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/01/26 08:36 PM |
| 1 | “Are we Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook GroupsOh you mean the hypocrisy of it? I guess I can see that. However I don’t think those are comparable. Also, what makes you say porn is a problem? Is this your opinion? Because every single major medical organization does not have an issue with watching porn unless it is excessive. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/01/26 06:45 PM |
| 1 | “Are we Dating the Same Guy?” Facebook GroupsThe man who watches porn on his phone doesn’t have a problem. Unless it’s affecting his health. Neither does the woman who reads 50 shades of gray. You have to let people live their lives. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/01/26 05:38 PM |

It’s like I married a stranger which makes me ask existential questions about myself. How could I judge this so wrong??? Could never be friends with her. Not that I want to either. I’m good. I only want communication about kids otherwise I don’t want to hear from her. Can’t stand being in her presence. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/12/24 11:44 AM |

| 2 | Did coparenting get easier as time went on?Fam you don’t have to explain yourself. I completely understand. Matter of fact I’m in a similar boat. I’ve moved on mentally. Been separated for months and I can barely believe how calm life is. I was tolerating way too much rubbish in the guise of making the marriage work. Women do change after having kids depending on where the mental stress takes them. My soon to be xw has an advanced medical degree but still believes in rituals etc, is anti-science etc. I barely recognize this person anymor… | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/10/24 11:48 PM |

| 1 | LonelinessGlad that worked out that way for you at least. I’m curious what state you are in? I’m in a different situation. I just can’t imagine where a court does not grant me full custody after my kids life was threatened. I’ll be incredibly disappointed if they give her shared custody because that ensures I cannot protect him from her. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/08/24 06:14 PM |

| 7 | LonelinessFam focus on yourself right now. Don’t try to use another relationship to dull the pain. You’re not ready. Plug in with therapy already if you haven’t, there are signs of depression there. Join a gym, r start either Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai. Something to focus on you. What kind of work do you do? School loans? How’s your financial health? Work on those things and don’t worry about women. When the time is right, you won’t even have to look, you’d find the balance. | 1 | What did you learn the hard way from your marriage and divorce experience?Which is why I don’t understand people who have 3 marriages. Really?? You’re joking right? You did this once and wanted to do it again? I’ll never ever marry again I don’t care if Rihanna came knocking. One time is enough for sure | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/08/24 12:40 AM |

| 3 | What did you learn the hard way from your marriage and divorce experience? No affairs that I can prove or sure off. However her mental health steadily decline over the course of 7 yrs because of lack of being on meds and lack of accountability. Her finances suck, I’ve been working hard to keep us on track. She lost her grandma and went into a tailspin; alcoholism, blackouts, more severe mood swings. I waited it out. Kept begging for therapy and meds but she’s too cool for meds. She lost her dad recently and had a mental breakdown. Needed to be sectioned in the hospital… | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/24 08:52 PM |
| 2 | What did you learn the hard way from your marriage and divorce experience?Bro, just switch out your name and put my name there because I wrote this. There’s no way someone else wrote this. I’m realizing this woman is probably the worst thing that ever happened to me if it wasn’t for this one kid. The mood swings I’ve had to deal with is insane. Thank goodness it’s almost over. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/24 07:17 PM |
| 4 | What did you learn the hard way from your marriage and divorce experience?Funny, I’m divorcing someone who refused to stay on their medications. Cannot wait to be free from this person. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/07/24 07:09 PM |
