I made assumptions about society, whereas you made ad-hominem/assumptions on me. My assumptions are also well documented facts, when I say capitalism destroys social fabric, that's a damn fact. But when you say "you're the problem", you make it sound like all struggling people are doing so out of their own hand. Try applying that logic to black people.

You don't seem to address the premise of someone's argument, rather by supposedly attempting to get to the root of the problem, you end up assuming that the person speaking is the problem primarily. By that logic, when a homeless speaks of the unfair societal structure, one might be tempted to get to the root of the issue and assume she's the problem here.

You seem keen on diagnosing though. When I listed issues, you didn't address them and instead though: "he believes society has issues, therefore he is the issue." To put things into perspective, this is how abused housewives were viewed in the past, instead of seeing that there was something wrong with society holistically, it was assumed that they're the issue itself. Do you reject the idea that society itself can have an issue by and large?

But why focus on root causes as if helping men is your goal? Are you not a feminist, I assume that's your goal on this sub: to support women's issues in the face of the abuse wrought by men?

Doesn't society experience a cascading effect of a problem? For example, a homeless man has a problem that most people don't, but soon enough that exploitative system will catch up to other people.

Look, I've tolerated this insult from enough thus far: I socialize well enough, though most people my age seem more interested in gossip, sports, and other nonsense. Guaranteed paths would be better for everyone, not just me: think of how many Americans vote against universal healthcare, they think they're gonna be millionaires one day, whereas the Danish can be rest-assured that they're guaranteed middle class. I'm conservative because over my experience in life, I've noticed that most people a…

Conservatism or liberal are absolutely what drive the atomization of society. Liberalism entails to each their own, and such is a very new concept to the human race which was first introduced in France, UK, and the USA sometime around the late 1700s. Liberalism in the political sense let's people drive their lives without any interference from state, religious institutions, extended family structures, or any other organizations. This does give us freedom, but it also leads to chaos. And from thi…

Yes. I read that. You haven’t convinced me that my hypothesis of your general state of being is incorrect. The burden of proof lays on the accuser. In any case, I am an immigrant in America, I don't connect with anyone here. Had things not turned out horribly in my home country I probably wouldn't be having a hard time building social circles. I'm also conservative, however it seems that most women are liberal/atheist nowadays. Also, are you not leftist-oriented in your political views? Do you n…

You haven't convinced me with regards to using friendship networks for meeting partners. Did you meet your partner through a social circle? I think I made a credible argument here, which you ignored: Furthermore, you do realize that social circles entail reputations right? If you flirt with one friend and get rejected: do that enough times and you'll seriously develop a reputation for creepiness. Granted, I wouldn't expect a friendless person to understand this simple concept.

Doesn't change the fact that women in the US and Europe are also living terrible lives. Don't you believe women? They're forced to wake up, go to work, and pay taxes, and then they have to go home. Do men go through that? Yes, but in a much more privileged way. Even though women are buying more houses, getting better jobs, and getting more university degrees, it's still a vicious patriarchy, because women feel this way. Don't you believe women?

This is a bit off-topic: yes Islam does contain some toxic and sexist texts, but the vast majority of Muslims don't actually abide by them. I would say, even as an atheist, Islam offers more good than harm, given the the Quran has more teachings concerned with family values, tolerance, peace, and punishment for evil than it does for sexism and violence, notwithstanding the fact that the latter certainly do exist in the Quranic scripture, and they should be criticised.

I’m very confused by your response to this. Why are your own friends and their friends and your larger network “awkward” for you? Here is the topic of family values and community, those things are rare nowadays. The deconstruction of close-knit communities, religious gatherings, and family ties have been undergone for decades now. Moreover, How many friends would one realistically have? 20-30? How many single women does that leave? Of equal age, values, religion, career ambitions etc... 100 year…

If randomly “cold approaching” women at the grocery store is your way and not idk going to a friends party Going to loud, smelly, and alcohol fueled parties where awkward people are likely to stick to their clique is hardly a place to build a meaningful connection. It's a quality issue: party girls are usually less attracted, more liberal, and overall more jaded compared to conservative women. Turns out that when one encourages girls to start dating from a young age, those girls get exposed to extremely toxic young arrogant guys who destroy her self-esteem and whatever respect and empathy she can have for the male gender. If we know that financial economics must be regulated, why not apply that logic to dating economics.

Labor is essential for productivity. You can't automate everything, the automated processes of a machine would eventually need the input of human muscle for it to operate again. In other words, make all humans disappear and all technology reaches net zero function eventually.

They do see men as human doings rather than beings. In other words, their concern for men's struggle is what those men could ruin in society, as oppose to the ruin within those men. Such is the empathy gap.

Men are definitely very visual in terms of romantic attraction, but that brief enchantment a man might experience towards a beautiful woman offers negligible support for an extreme claim of men viewing women as objects. I'm not sure if you're speaking in good faith. But for the men who have worked hard to develop a successful life, they're better off staying single than tying themselves to a rather undisciplined and unambitious partner, and a lack of a sustainable and stable marriage process in a nation is a justifiable ground for criticism from both men and women.

A YouTube video of a social experiment, I don't see any reason why this evidence ought to be brushed aside; it well captured the gender dynamics in public. I'd be interested in any research that conducts an analysis of the empathy gap: for example, have a population place jail-time for the same crime on two different suspects, one female the other male. Yes historically men were the ones who owned the wealth. Most men (99%) throughout history were foot soldiers, peasants, and factory workers. A powerful woman would be keen on helping other women in her society, but such an in-group bias isn't prevalent across male dynamics of power.

It would depend on what we define as a woman's right: a woman's right to accuse a man of a crime with little to no evidence, or even when there is evidence against her, is absolutely a right gone too far. The cultural aspect is just too difficult to prove: try finding proof for the fact that emotional abuse is tolerated when its women inflicting it on men... you'd hardly find any scholarly researches on this matter.

Men aren't conscripted because of misandry or hatred of their gender, it is because they are seen as more physically capable, and unlike women are less likely to be targets of sexual assault in the case of captivity. And no, I do not support war conscriptions but rather demonstrated that misandry doesn't correlate with it. Moreover, I do not deny that misandry kills.

This is a bit off topic, but to comment on the notion of "women don't need men": The way I see it is, men desire women more than vice-versa, but economically women need men more. A woman might feel men to be dispensable given that the collective rewards of labor compiled by all men in blue-collar jobs are allocated in a means to benefit all men and women across society, in other words, a woman does not need a male companion, but she certainly needs men as a whole population to support the functi…

Do you think it's a coincidence that most people in power are men? From my understanding, power is correlated with risk-taking behavior. Men are much more risk-taking than women, this can explain why men are simultaneously the occupiers of positions of power AND suicide/homeless/prison as a population. I think psychopathy is unstructured; people may not be born so but are conditions that way in our hyper-competitive capitalist society. I don't buy into this trad-idea of women being shy angels; women are far more capable and clever than most men realize. Would the average man set his sights on a delusional billionaire celebrity that's going to look objectively worse in a few years, or a kind woman next door? Why would any man care about the status and money of the woman? Men are objectively more visual than women, but they still mimic similar patterns of partner-seeking behaviors to them. Most women wouldn't marry a rich celebrity, assuming those women are stupid enough to do that; no amount of looks and money can compensate for a lack of loyalt…

growing number of men are learning about the reality of modern dating and gender dynamics. Human personalities are a revolving door, the same guys who move on from their love to women will be replaced by younger inexperienced guys. The "red-pill" or whatever you want to call it has been around for eons; as far back as The Bronze Age you'll find men who were wise enough to understand the vile nature of liberal women's sexuality. Nothing new.

For example they are plenty keen on breaking down hierarchies within science, the administrative state, and law. One isn't necessarily rightist for critiquing what is widely acceptable as Science and Law. There have been many conceptions throughout history that have been widely believed to be science; the gender-pay gap a massive example of this, a statistical manipulation turned to dogmatic "scientific fact". The same case goes for what is often deemed as morally sound law.

Hi OP, We are all human, and though we are all different in our cultures, we equally experience vulnerability. It is my firm belief that struggle is integral to life: some may struggle because of their gender, others their religion, sexuality, race, socioeconomic status, and so on. Without the ugly experiences in life, we can never learn to truly appreciate its beauty. With regards to the relationships a man can have women, I would say it's far better to remain single than to get entangled in an…

What would be juxtaposed to trp? Trp is primarily defined as a theoretical approach to the dating dynamic between men and women, where the primary initiator of attraction is biological determinism. Trp also asserts the existence of feminine toxicity is more common than what society acknowledges.

Isn't trp juxtaposed with liberalism, thus a nebulous concept like the blue-pill would essentially have heavy overlap with liberalism, and liberalism does have a set of beliefs. I know that these words "red-pill" "blue-pill" are weird, but given the context of this subreddit where people are genuinely debating for the sake of finding some truths, there has to be an ontological build-up of the meaning of blue-pill.

It's interesting how the gigantic mantra of today's feminism is: the average women does not need a man. You know.. that's true! Masculinity isn't a character men can pull off; it's something they become. Like shaving for instance, a child might imitate a father with the direction of the blade but it isn't actually shaving. Men who are masculine and leadership-oriented don't try doing it; they simply act spontaneously. That's true, those men aren't worthy of overweight old women on antipsychotic medications lmao.

Are you a woman yourself? I agree that the gender war is greatly exaggerated, but I wouldn't be too quick to discount the social disconnection and economic hardships facing young men and women, though I would point out that while misogyny is frowned upon, misandry is openly accepted, so I do see a problem within the fabric of western societies.

I wouldn't be too optimistic, any marginalized group will eventually go to a radical direction as they seek to alleviate their woes. All in all, I don't buy this notion that men are "opting out of society", rather I think that their disgruntlement will eventually motivate them to snatch that economic system for themselves in an andro-centric Leninist style from the ungrateful angry childish feminists. Granted, I forecast this to happen in an extremely slow and gradual manner, maybe it won't even…

Ah I didn't pay attention to that part of the article. Yes I agree with you that women leaving the workforce won't help men (it would actually hurt as less workers would slow down the economy), however I would point out that this new culture of misandry being pushed on young women through education ought to be addressed.

We don’t need to return to trad stuff to help men An advocacy for men might seem traditional if they resemble a historical event, but it doesn't have to be the case. For example, if in the 1800s, a Russian travelled to France for a proper education, we can't conclude that people today traveling to the west for an education are "traditionalist"; they simply are doing what's best for them. And thus men seeking to garner power in a society they feel disgruntled with aren't necessarily traditional, …

I agree that the "gender war" is completely exaggerated on the internet, but we shouldn't overlook the animosity between men and women: there will always be mistrust and in-group biases between the two genders, our identities are tied to our gender after all. This rift between men and women is as old as time-immemorial, though thanks to the internet it has given it a strong voice to project. The problem is that internet scrolling has become such a significant part of our life that these culture/…

OP is a woman. And in my opinion, her post sounded like a humble brag more than anything else. It's also important to note that the drive for power is ubiquitous among all human beings; white male ambition is not limited to them in the least bit.

Life is fine. We have technology and medicine that our ancestors could have only dreamt of. More importantly, and contrary to what BOTH red-pillers and male feminists would have you believe: conservative well-mannered women are still out there, but they won't date a guy unless he has his life together, and that's the right thing of them to do. In other words, it's just like the old times: no work means no gain. That's life and there is no free lunch. Moreover, I think that as much as modern femi…

I've noticed that these big scary tyrannical patriarchs often cater to women citizens rather than men; sort of a caring father-daughter archetype relation. People tend to empathize more with a financially struggling woman as opposed to a man in the same scenario. They'd envision the bigger risks a woman might face during homelessness and so on, thus have a bigger drive to push women into higher paying fields. Granted, this theory is not the entire explanation on this subject.

I personally see that history moves in cycles: one century might be androcentric, while another gynocentric to some extent. Feminisms will vehemently deny this, but in many parts of the world women have historically wielded great power. A "redpill" analysis, or an MRA one could be yearning for some time of male power, much like feminism does for its own gender; redpill is essentially the feminism or men, or "masculinanism".

I think it's because right-wingers pay no heed to any sort of political correctness (aside from religious contexts) and thus have no problem challenging feminism or the idea that women are angels.

I agree with you, OP: selection biases are the root causes of Misandry and Misogyny. My only problem is that Misandry is openly accepted and downright encouraged at some time. The power is shifted well in favor in women's hands in the western world and there is plenty of evidence for that. No such thing as bad man or bad woman, just bad people. Males and females exhibit aggression and power in different ways, and keeping such a topic a taboo won't do much to help struggling young men in a societ…

Correct, toxic men must be humbled. Let's also not forget to call out the ignorant people who invalidate men's problems and completely refuse to critique women, since women aren't perfect as-well, and refusing the criticize them only reinforces their abusive tendencies towards men.

I don't think AI women would be an adequte solution for men's loneliness. Consider how social interactions have changed since the 1980s: back then a person's potential social circle was limited to his neighborhood which would consist as let's say 1,000 people. Today's internet offers talks with hundreds of millions; despite the enormity of today's discourses through digital means, the exponential increase of interactions have not only failed to alleviate people's feelings of solitude but have ac…

Contrary to some on this sub, I do think feminism has been mostly a positive force for change in the wellbeing of women; We must accurately define what it means to be a feminist here; plenty of modern feminist dogma offers young men nothing but fear and hostility towards 50% of the population. In terms of workplace success, then yes old-school feminism's advocacy has done enormous strides for the betterment of women's lives. Though we must still Account for the contribution of blue collar worker…

Alright that sounds reasonable. But I still notice a big delusion in many women where they demand a strong social-savvy man, while at the same claiming that strong men are just "insecure".

Tall nerdy or tall introverted women may struggle, but tall active women don’t struggle with dating. Tall women who don't fit into conventional standards of attractiveness won't struggle to get laid, but they sure as hell ain't getting into a healthy long term relationship. How delusional are you people?
