In the context of the original story, he's just kissing her because he wants to kiss an unconscious woman, not to save her. The saving is incidental. If he knows its an entirely different story because the intent is to save her and the kissing is incidental. | 1 | Wise decision..In the original story the Prince doesn't know that kissing her will wake her up, he's just sexually assaulting her and it happens to wake her up. If you catch a woman falling to her death, the intent of your actions is unambiguous. That's why it's different. If he knew and his intent with the kiss was to save her life, then the actions would be equivalent.
