I suspect a lot of people who argue in favour of it are men who have been circumcised and don't want to feel like they're somehow lesser or lacking, they don't want to admit anything is wrong so try and convince themselves it isn't. They always regurgitate the same cherry picked and manipulated data from dodgy unethical studies done in Africa without any controls. The funny thing is the same studies they cite actually also recommend circumcision for women if you actually read them.

Google the judge, it seems she has a history of letting women off with very little punishment and the opposite for men.

It's a weird double standard. I'm completely against both, but one form of female circumcision involves pricking to draw a drop of blood and even that is considered mutilation. Yet cutting off a specialised area of male genitalia with lots of nerve endings and permanently scarring and drying the penis is perfectly fine.

Some more cases this judge has presided over: Judge does not jail paedophile, 60, who sexually abused two girls under 14 because his bad BACK would cause him 'considerable discomfort' behind bars No jail for man who was caught with over 10,000 CP pictures Drug dealer with ten kids by ten women who was jailed for possessing £30,000 of cocaine described by judge as a ‘good father’

Or, you know just declaring their income and paying their fucking taxes like they're supposed to. Or do what some of the evaders and avoiders do and structure your taxes and income to minimise it as much as possible.

Not really, it creates a society where men run after women, see things like prohibition, a bachelor tax, etc. We got to the current situation for a reason. This current setup has been building for a long time.

If you're religious I don't care. Just don't pretend it's the greatest thing ever, be disingenuous or try to sell the whole tradcon thing. Including following the path that is best for society. You'll see plenty of guys here who tried the traditional, best for society path and got screwed over. They're also coincidently the same guys who let things get to this stage in the first place, who rolled over and didn't push back. Society wants obedient workers, just smart enough to do their jobs, who w…

Millennial means born between 1980 and 2000. The older millennials are in their mid to late 30s now. So presumably they entered the workplace long before now. Corporations survived baby boomers with no skills just walking into highly paid jobs and staying there despite being useless.

The vast majority of countries in Europe set their ages in the range of 14 to 16, with 4 exceptions where it is either 17 or 18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_Europe#/media/File:Age_of_consent_in_Europe.svg

There's a reason only fraudsters and ultra hardcore Libertarians use it and talk about it. People keep trying to inflate Bitcoin so they can pump and dump like they did before before it crashes again like it's done several times before. This ignores the various issues in just using Bitcoin as a currency also.

Add to that most jobs available to them even with a degree are kind of shit, bad pay, crap benefits, dodgy working conditions, no line of promotion. There's also the fact that previous generations refuse to retire or are outsourcing everything for short term gains.

See these 'anti-fascists' have never had to actually deal with white-supremacists, they've previously just had to deal with people they accused of being such but that actually weren't. People who usually try to avoid resorting to violence. An actual white-supremacist, fascist or neo-nazi has no qualms about getting violent or responding to violence with more violence.

I've said before that these anti-fascists and professional protestors who think it's perfectly reasonable and justifiable to resort to violence will get a rude awakening when actual fascists, white supremacists and neo-nazis show up and also decide to act violently. All they've had to deal with before that were fairly non-violent people that they accused of being fascists, white supremacists and neo-nazis. The enemies of MGTOW are gynocentrism and hypergamy. The phrase is All Women Are Like That, not All Feminists Are Like That. Cucks and their mindset existed before feminism, feminism was never the problem, it's just a another symptom, a particularly annoying symptom but still just a symptom. There's a lot of hatred and revisionism about Lovecraft, mainly down to people misinterpreting some things about him. It's essentially become cool to disparage him and many horror writers do it, but I actually quite like his style it grabs my attention more than many modern styles. My only complaint is he never wrote anything longer because of what a editor/publisher thought about At the Mountains of Madness.

Outside of the Streamers, YouTubers and e-sports guys, even just guys who play games casually or as a hobby tend to be pretty well off. The problem is a lot of them are also desperate for the attention of woman and can't see when they're being manipulated.

Libertarians are in many ways very blue pill. They're just a slight evolution of 'wagecucks' except they're not slaves to some dodgy soulless corporation but slaves to the "wonderful and glorious market, praise be upon it". My problem with the US version of House of Cards is they tried to 'humanise' Francis/Frank and spent way too much attention on his wife and gave Stamper oneitis. If none of those were the case it would probably be better than the British miniseries from the 90s, as it stands though the miniseries is far better.

Man has always had a desire to fill or find some sort of existential need or purpose. Some have tried to fill this with philosophy, religion, science or art. There doesn't necessarily have to be any 'meaning' to life. Nobody exists for a reason, no one is special, no one belongs any where and everyone and everything will eventually die or come to an end. The universe is arguably meaningless but some people still suffer trying to find meaning in it. Now some may consider this a dark or disturbing…

I'm sick of this Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Omega 4Chan/TRP/hypergamy stuff. Still though why not take him to a dark side planet to mask him or even for Obi Wan and Luke to go with Yoda to Dagobah and to train Luke from a young age. Part of the issue with Anakin/Vader is that he was trained later in life. Even then if they revealed to Anakin/Vader that his children didn't die at birth it may have helped him turn back, particularly if you also have Qui-Gon appearing as a force ghost to him.

You do see positive/success stories occasionally, it's just that most people here who needed to go through a recovery phase and ultimately made it to the end of their recovery don't feel the need to brag about how great their life is, the same situation with those already doing well. I mean what's the point, who cares about well you're doing or how well I'm doing. There are no Unicorns or women who "aren't like other women", AWALT, for every country, every culture, every woman, every time period. Don't pedestal what to you would be considered an 'exotic' woman. Just because it's a different type of hypergamy, gynocentrism or set of tactics than what you're used to, that doesn't mean they're different.

You'll generally only find TradCons, some Alt Right people and TRPers wanting to go back to a 'traditional' society. One easy way to tell them apart is if they specifically only complain about feminism/feminists and blame everything on 'the Left'. Most of the guys here realise that a 'Traditional' society is in many ways far more gynocentric. I have no desire to regress to such a society but hypergamy and gynocentrism still exist and are still issues.

They cover the whole loneliness thing in the news pretty regularly in the UK. Talking about funding stuff to help prevent it, etc. This ignores the fact that a lot of the old bastards are rich enough to all retire somewhere together or form their own little village. Depends what you mean by traditional marriage. One man with multiple women was far more common, prevalent and the norm for a longer period of time than one man with one woman. Even in supposedly Christian countries, even in the 17th and 18th centuries. If the man was of a high enough social standing or had enough wealth he'd have a wife, mistress, a house keeper, maids. It wasn't uncommon for all of those to have children by him.

It's depends on the 'level' or flavour of MGTOW you think best suits you. Some people will try to maintain a friend with benefits or a fuck buddy. Some people pump-and-dump, have a lot of one night stands and hook-ups, etc. Others prefer to use prostitutes, escorts or go to massage parlours. Some watch porn, use sex toys/aids and masturbate. It's a common tactic with women to accused a man of being gay. They do it to try and discourage you hanging out with friends or pursuing your own interests and hobbies. Basically if you do anything outside of obsequiously doing what a woman wants or don't include them in an activity you'll see the tactic used. Some works transcend their creators, look at those literary critics who insist books have certain themes or subtexts even when the writers says that they don't. Extrapolating from this, if you live with someone for a while are you now classed as married, can the other person claim a portion of your resources, etc. I could definitely see that argument being made. A registry office wedding is pretty cheap if you want someone to get access to your pension, etc.

From what I've read it seems like Harmon was pretty much reigned in the first season and a half to stop his usual bullshit from manifesting. You can see some of his bullshittery coming through in part of the second season, but luckily it ended on a decent note. I've heard that Justin Roliand - the other part of the team - doesn't want to pull punches, and if that's true I commend him for that. It's just he's now fighting against not only Harmon, but Harmon in a more extreme SJW mode, plus a bunc…

Yeah, we can blame the French nobility and their take on Arthurian myths and legends, they introduced all that courtly romance and chivalry stuff. It didn't even exist in France at that time or in the future, it was a fictionalised ideal, created by out-of-touch writers for the benefit of female nobles. It's their equivalent of Twilight, 50 Shades of Grey and Sex in the City. The Celtic, British, Germanic and even Scandinavian Arthurian tales are a lot better. I suppose Thomas Malory should take…

There are things that could be done but it would require a lot of work from a young age and some large cultural and media shifts which are unlikely to happen. Most women who express a desire to change without that would only do it peripherally and as a surface disguise, they'd use it as a tactic to try and attract MGTOW. Like those women who say they're not like other women, that they're special and unique. All you'd see is women trying infiltrate and subvert MGTOW and trying to drive people in …

Millennials are shamed in a lot of the same ways people and groups try to shame MGTOW. Provided it doesn't go into SJW or gynocentric territory then Millennials are justified in some of their complaints. People forget that the Millennial group can include people born between 1980 and 2000. The first group of millennials are in their 30s now and they all have to put up with a very different and more difficult reality than previous generations. I liked Seasons 1 and 2, I was a bit concerned with parts of Season 2 (like the argument between Morty and Summer in the alien hospital and Rick saying he just needs to get laid) and I'm concerned with Season 3 because of all the female writers they hired because they just "happened to submit the best scripts", yeah right. Dan Harmon seems to be getting more SJW-like based on what he's said and the podcast he does.

I think race riots might be a bit hyperbolic, not that I care anyway. Why the hell would I want to save someone like that. Just because they have the same skin colour as me, fuck that noise that doesn't I mean I owe you anything. Why would I risk my life and well-being for someone who doesn't care about me and has probably insulted some of my positions in the past. And would immediately rebuke and disown me once they were saved.

Depends Penelope - Ulysses'/Odysseus' wife - just refused to marry, she would still regularly entertain the suitors string them along and then there was Telemachus to deal with. You also had characters like Circe and a few of the wives and daughters of other heroes who acted pretty much like you'd expect. I mean obviously fictional but some of the characters captured the nature pretty well.

I suspect the media (TV shows, movies, books) are to blame for some of it. They've created a perception that certain people try to attain, not realising that it's fictional.

I think it's the lure of the exotic and different. Women like to romanticise that. I've got a Scottish accent and I've got friends with Scottish, English, and Irish accents and we've all noticed that when we travel we get a lot more attention from women. I'm 32 now, I've almost always been a MGTOW, though I didn't have a name for it for a large portion of that time. The realisation/epiphany happened around my mid-teens. This was all mostly down to my own experiences and what I saw around me, having a narcissistic mother and some really dodgy female teachers at Primary School (ages 6 to 13), High School (ages 13 to 18) and even some dodgy lecturers at university helped reinforce and provided evidence for some opinions I developed though. Men are more likely to use discussion forums, Reddit in particular and not lie or delude themselves about infidelity so it's probably even more lopsided than that. I dislike the whole concept of marriage, but if we're going to have it at least get rid of no-fault divorces or if you allow no-fault make sure it doesn't include alimony and has a fair distribution of assets. My personal opinion is to take care of the urges. You don't wait for the hunger urge to die and you don't fight the urge to sleep. You deal with both responsibly. See I disagree with that. There are examples of women from the Classical, Late Antiquity and Medieval periods of AWALT. Gynocentrism has always been pretty rampant. It's not even a culturally unique thing. Several European and Asian cultures had similar hair styles. I imagine much in the same way various groups independently discovered the principles of agriculture, metallurgy and brewing and distillation, etc.

What I've noticed is that there are two types of that sort of SJW. The first doesn't even like the games - TV show, movies, books, whatever - instead they like the attention, associations, etc that professing to like such things gets them. In many ways they are just an attention whore or someone following fashion. Some of them try to turn this into a revenue stream but they really aren't interested and it shows. If liking games, science fiction or fantasy suddenly became derided then this type w…

That's only because most of the production and publishing doesn't happen in the west so it's more difficult for them to infiltrate or shame and coerce creators. DC have done the whole cringeworthy 'mansplaining' thing also, one example oddly enough involved a character being accused of it while being held by Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth. They kind of missed the unintended consequence that the lasso compels people held to tell the truth, when they insult the guy for mansplaining while being held and answering questions they essentially equate mansplaining with telling the truth. Comic books have always had their tired tropes and fear of trying new thing…

I've heard it described as the A to Z principle. Most people wouldn't go directly from A (lets say 'A' represents being honourable and good) to Z (lets say 'Z' represents being heinously evil). However if you turn it into a series of small steps then it's easier, A to B, then B to C, etc.

Even when women had no direct power they could still manipulate, influence and in some cases ultimately make the decisions. I've seen accounts from antiquity and medieval periods of woman essentially dumping husbands and going off with the equivalent of Chad. I've seen accounts of women ruining their families to help some wandering bard or knight or where they had total control of household finances and resources. Men can be gynocentric. It's a problem with society not one particular group.
/r/MGTOW20/12/16 03:16 PM

I see lots of comments here recently specifically targetting/blaming feminism. While it's bad it's not the root of the problem, the root of the problem is gynocentrism. If feminism disappeared tomorrow the situation would be the same only less out in the open. If you're specifically against feminism then perhaps the alt-right, TRP or TradCon stuff might be more to your liking.

Different sugars are metabolised differently though. For example: Glucose raises blood sugar, stimulates the release of insulin and is metabolised in cells throughout your body while fructose doesn’t directly boost blood sugar because it’s only metabolised in your liver, where it’s converted into fat if the liver has to metabolise significant amounts.

I got an insight into gynocentrism and gender dynamics at an early age from having to deal with a narcissistic mother and through female teachers who were bitter and took out that bitterness on male students. I just never really had a term to describe my opinions until fairly recently. Beyond that I'm actually still pretty left leaning on a lot of issues (that's European left, not US left). I don't know how many times this has to be said, feminism isn't the problem. Well I mean arguably even in your situation there are ways a woman could manipulate it to her advantage, all you've done is minimise it. She could get pregnant either via you or someone else and claim you're the father. She could accuse you of domestic abuse or rape. You could catch a STD/STI from her, etc. Part of it is too similar to TRP reasoning about completely changing yourself to please a woman for some people. The comments on that article in the Alt-Right subreddit are why I think there's very little crossover with MGTOW and them. Most of the alt-right stuff I've seen is very NAWALT with the women they like being special unicorns and the others being the problem, they court MGTOW as a resource. I agree with some alt-right points depending on the issue, but I wouldn't consider them as acting in the best interests of me or MGTOW. A traditionalist or right society can be just as gynocentric and in some cases more-so than any other society.

I've tried saying this in the past, I'm not in the US but if I had to vote it would probably be for Trump. Mostly down to the corruption of Clinton and the way they're going after Wiki Leaks, though both are arguable bad choices and that doesn't mean Trump is on our side either. I've noticed some people in this subreddit trying to kludge MGTOW onto their pet political philosophy in perhaps an attempt to influence MGTOW or use it as a political army or tie its success to their philosophy. Basing attraction only on appearance, what I consider attractive and what society does differs quite a bit. I don't even have a single specific type, there are several looks I find attractive just none that seem to be pushed by society. I did have a few personality traits I liked in women at one point, with the AWALT principle though I doubt if any women would have these traits outside of fiction, at best you might get a few faking them as a strategy.

I've seen a few people warn about it in the past, I warned about it myself. I've seen it happen to a few communities I've been part of. It's happened to comics, video games, tabletop gaming, the IT industry, science, the MRA guys, PUA guys and TRP guys. They now have female 'allies' and women who are 'awake', etc. The concern is that these people through attention, coverage and platform intercept guys new to the idea and redirect them back to a form of the plantation. The middle class in the UK seems to have a thing against meat from my interpretation of the media. It's mostly vegetables, pastas, breads, grains and 'super foods' that they eat with the occasional meat or fish. I'm not in the US but given the choice between Trump and Clinton, Trump seems like the better option. I mean both are arguably bad options, I'm reminded of that South Park episode where they have to choose between a Giant Douche or a Turd Sandwich. Nope, just remind people that this is a subreddit about MGTOW. Not about linking your pet political ideology to MGTOW in perhaps an attempt to influence MGTOW or use it as a personal army. Really? you can't see any issues or potential issues with libertarianism? Oh well like I said this isn't the place for that discussion so I'll just leave it at that.
/r/MGTOW12/10/16 12:07 PM

See this is exactly what I meant about some people in this subreddit trying to kludge MGTOW onto their pet political philosophy and in doing so they damage MGTOW or saddle it with baggage that it doesn't need. Libertarianism has its own issues which would severely curtail liberty in some situations, but it's not really appropriate to go into that here.

There's nothing inherently wrong with welfare or socialist institutions, the problems arise when certain groups abuse them. Keep in mind that many on the Right side of the spectrum want a large government for military and authoritarian reasons. Chivalry never really existed and was blown out of proportion, except for in the French take on the Arthurian mythos and other related stories of the time... and even then it was so absurd as to be Kafkaesque. Well monasteries are really just an evolution of epicurean (old philosophical meaning) communes/communities (called gardens). Many philosophical groups formed their own communities. Either within existing towns and cities or off on their own somewhere. Both movements had very little interaction with women, though some monks did use the services of the brothels they and the church had control over.
/r/MGTOW31/08/16 07:27 AM

Arguably old style monasteries were kind of like research grants. Most people don't realise either that most monastic orders weren't as austere, restrictive or even religious as popular culture makes them out to be. They used the whole religious thing to get money, land and influence. Monks ate better than some kings, they managed brothels, they had large stipends/allowances from the monastery, etc.

That's a thing with male characters in general. They can't focus on saving the country, planet, galaxy or universe because some irritating love interest is annoyed about some minor thing and creating drama and diverting attention. NoFap has a very cult like mentality, they actually believe not masturbating gives you special powers. Masturbating is a simple biological process... I wonder if there are people who advocate not shitting the same way they advocate not masturbating.

It's a good idea, just keep in mind that not every business started will be successful and that it's unsustainable for everyone to be an entrepreneurs. The myth of the self-made man is just that a myth. You might get one or two genuine examples but the majority got lucky or started off already wealthy or from a wealthy or well connected family. We don't want to engender an anti-intellectualism, I've-got-no-book-learnin'-but-common-sense attitude either. A final consideration is that when men sto…

The "Degree is anything as long as it's a degree" is another Baby Boomer thing that doesn't apply now. Anyone doing well now with a non-relevant degree is either wealthy with contacts or got lucky. You really need a degree in a relevant and decent subject now or have some sort of in-demand skill to have any hope of being 'successful'. Though that is success as defined by the mainstream.

Lots of females streamers broadcast like this - https://i.sli.mg/xrLSmB.png - usually if you include a head shot it's about an eighth of the screen size, usually even smaller than that. Far more popular female streamers do that and similar, that's just the only example screenshot I had handy. The Twitch drama stuff is too much to go into but basically it boils down to pictures, videos and underwear for top-tier subscribers/VIPs. And then related drama when boyfriends or rival steamers find out a…

Keep in mind that the modern TRP/Chan/Internet idea of what an Alpha is doesn't match what they actually are. If a leader acted as stubborn, narcissistic and self-interested as the modern interpretation indicates then that leader would not be very good and would be evicted by those he leads. There's a reason good leaders eat last, share what they accumulate and care about those they lead and help those they lead to do their best and develop.

It's the same with a good chunk of female Game Streamers, Let's Players and YouTubers. If they produced the same quality of content but were uglier or male they would not be successful. There's some drama/a few stories about some female Game Streamers sending used underwear and doing cam shows for their VIP subscribers. Surely it's more honest for the people who support them to just use porn or go the prostitute/escort route.

I think we need to keep MGTOW separate from political ideologies. It's not left wing, it's not right wing, it's not libertarian. Too many groups are trying to co-opt it for their own goals. Regardless of where you are on the political spectrum your camp has hypergamy and policies that are damaging to men. All these circlejerky 14 year old politics posts trying to kludge a political ideology on to MGTOW are getting irritating.

It's worth noting that many MGTOWs are of the opinion that gynocentrism has always existed regardless of the society. These MGTOW would not like to live in an 1800s or early 1900s society that many of the TradCons who try to co-opt the MGTOW movement seem to idolise. A 'traditional' society arguably being more gynocentric and detrimental to men.

It's pure peer pressure though, as soon as they're removed from the culture they revert. Even in those cultures with barriers against some types of hypergamy other behaviours that are detrimental to men and other types of hypergamy are allowed.

The media and culture probably doesn't help or allows it flourish with no negative peer pressure but it's always been there. There are historical accounts and documents about the behaviour of women going back to Antiquity. Mainstream history tends to focus on the big events and individuals but there's lots of sources for the other stuff and every day life also. My parents accepted that I'm never going to get married or have children a while back in my early 20s. What's odd is that I noticed a change in them after that realisation, my sister who has two children was given more consideration and treated far better than I was after that point. I'm basically relegated to the guy they ask for help with stuff and try to demean at family gatherings. I honestly wish they would just both die already things would be a lot easier.

In book continuity. Jaime actually resolved the siege at Riverun (the Blackfish was defending the castle and holding off the Freys), with the Blackfish escaping and Jaime having Edmure and his family sent to Casterly Rock. Also in the books Sansa is still in the Vale pretending to be Petyr's bastard daughter, he actually has a plan in the books. It was Jeyne Poole who got married to Ramsay with the Boltons thinking she was Aria because Tywin Lannister said she was even though he knew the truth. …

It's pity there's no accurate virtual model to conduct this experiment but I'd like to duplicate the planet and put all men on one world and all women on another for 30 days with everything else being the same - countries, industries, resources, etc - and see what would happen. I agree, it's just a way for many to get attention and make money or make themselves feel special. The best way to respond to the objectified/idealised argument if you're so inclined is to talk about things like romantic comedies and romance novels. Financial domination always seemed weird to me, I've noticed it and other genres and subgenres in related areas steadily increasing in the places I get porn I've always wondered if it was indicative of something else. I've no idea how someone could get sexual satisfaction out of something like that. Part of the problem I think is that the US military - and some other countries armed forces - essentially incentivises marriage. You're treated like a second class citizen if you're not married, less money, less benefits, less freedom. There's a ton of scams related to it. I don't know if it's possible or allowed but two single male armed forces members should just marry each other for benefits.

I've noticed the women invading male spaces from watching the MRA and TRP communities. It's kind of difficult to be a women or female ally to MGTOW communities though as they're precluded in the name, I wonder if it's out of general interest in exploring male spaces or if they're specifically trying to incite comments they can then cherry pick and use as an example about how evil we all are. Perhaps we should be expecting some 'tell all' documentaries and books from these brave female explorers.

I've seen some people say that if they get something artificial with 40% the veracity of 'the real thing' that they'd never go back. The definition of real thing obviously varies from person to person and is dependant up their experiences so that could be a higher or lower quality than what you or I think. If we ever got to a point where we had 80% to 100% veracity well then that's game over in many respects; If we got something like a holodeck or sexbot.

TRP loves those laws, it's part of their 'Dark Triad' worship. They seem not to realise that anyone who actually was 'Dark Triad' or followed those laws would appear to be a beta in their eyes. I wonder how they rationalise it since they consider Dark Triad to be good and beta to be bad.

I like Japan but in general the culture is big on conformity and doing things for your 'betters'. Men are expected to give all their money to their wife and in exchange they receive an allowance. The women controlling the money thing happened during industrialisation, it wasn't like that historically and obviously it doesn't happen in all situations or at the highest tiers of society.

One thing I've noticed from watching old TV shows and getting into some older music via the Fallout series is that there were actually songs sung by women about how great men were back then and songs sung by men that weren't about how great women were or weren't about women at all. That's not been my experience but different people have different experiences the initial whimpering - it doesn't last long outside of porn - is a cultural thing because they think that's what men want, as with many groups there are enthusiastic and reluctant members though. It's easy for these people on their Deathbeds to look back and make recommendations assuming they're true and not something a journalist came up with. There's a certain TradCon undercurrent to male movements that I really don't like. Not everyone but there's definitely a few people who subscribe to it. People don't seem to realise that in a TradCon setup that women are still idolised. It's not something to aim for but another thing to avoid.

TRP seems firmly in the PUA camp, TRP is like the PUA stuff with science and experience behind it. TRP is about pretending to be something and acting in a certain way to exploit female psychology and get what you want. I wouldn't class TRP stuff as all encompassing.

Keep your two worlds separate. If you want a handjob or sexual relief go to a prostitute/escort or a massage parlour that offers that sort of thing. If your maid/cleaner gets too clingy or needy and you don't want to establish boundaries or employ another then pretend you have a girlfriend or something. Think of it like you being a manager and her being a subordinate in a corporate setting.

I do something similar, I use wish lists to track items I'm going to potentially buy at some point. If a product is reduced to a price I'm willing to pay and if I think it's an appropriate time to buy something then I will. Never buy something on impulse or when emotional or horny. I would love to see a Sci-Fi movie that had brutal reality in it. I've yet to consume post-apocalypse media that really captures how potentially brutal such a reality would be. It's shorthand for a super competent character, that's better than everyone else at everything even if that person is a master in their field and has been doing it for 40 years, always right and has no real weaknesses or a token weakness that is actually another power or ability. I also prefer tight, flat or muscular asses instead of the flabby, fat ones that the media keeps telling me I'm supposed to find attractive. The issue is that a co-opted MGTOW movement will perhaps be the first thing an uninitiated person tired with it all will search for. If it's been co-opted then he may not look further and go back to the plantation or consider himself the problem. That and some people are scared that governments will start punishing them for the way they live their lives, taxes, legislation, etc.

My version of MGTOW is about avoiding and not engaging with women, what you're talking about sounds more like TRP or PUA stuff to me In my mind any relationship or even just casual fucking is predicated on running after the women and giving them what they want or working around them, even if they don't know what they want... and boom, you're still on the plantation just not as close to the house or fields as others.

You could always delete or edit certain comments. Try searching for yourself, stick in your handle and country see if anything comes up try variations add a hobby or interest, remove the country, etc. Put in your handle and first name see if there's anything that links the two. A lot of it depends on the uniqueness of your handle also. It really depends if you run into someone who is willing to put in the effort to see if they can find anything. I spend about just as much time reading as I do gaming, online or watching TV shows. Yet I never hear the media or parts of academia complaining about the dangers of reading. Just because you don't understand or like something that doesn't invalidate the activity. The whole article is flawed, just CNN posting sensationalist bullshit.

Sorry for the Daily Mail link. Can't find the story elsewhere. Here's a quick and dirty screenshot if you don't want to click the link.

I can't put up a sign saying "I reserve the right to hold anyone as a slave". You can't override the law of the land with a sign or a contract.

Ah I see it's only discrimination if the authorities say it is.

You may want to go through their official complaints form for corrections etc. It's sometimes the only way to get anything done. They base corrections on the number of complaints.

If it was an atheist mother and a religious father, I think things would play out a bit differently.

I find SRS hilarious. I sometimes go there for a laugh. I imagine they view themselves as being really ironic, meta, witty and all counterculture; A great many probably think they're the one shining ray of hope and truth in a world of darkness. Yet they just come across as bitter and resentful with their sputtering impotent rage.

Yeah I should make it clear. That I was being sarcastic too, I in no way endorse blinding someone.

Screenshot of the article and comments. The comments are actually pretty good. EDIT: Gawker did a version the story if anyone would like to read the comments there. The story is also covered here and here.

I never understood this, surely Etheridge was accustomed to some sex, domestic stuff or other things. Yet she doesn't get her accustomed needs met?

You've been hit by the ShitRedditSays downvote brigade, the one they say doesn't exist. Some of the comments there are actually pretty funny in a dismissive, pathetic and bitter sort or way, worth a read.

I'd really like to see some inexpensive, viable and long term - say 6 months - birth control measures for both men and women. Not only will it help to stop 'accidents' but will hopefully lower the general birthrate and make having children a conscious choice.

There's a distinct hatred of gaming and technology in general by some, you never read the same amount of articles about people who are addicted to reading or spend a lot of their time doing it or about how unhealthy it is.

What I find particularly annoying is when people say that girls/women are more mature than boys/men within the same age group. That one got thrown out a lot back when I was in high school (Scotland/UK not sure if it's used else where). I too considered myself more mature but I had to put up with that massive generalisation.

Is there any subreddit criticised and hated as much as this one, perhaps /r/atheism I suppose. It really annoys but I've given up you can't argue with idiots, people will always believe what they want to believe and men standing up for their rights are apparently hateful and evil.

That's the one supposed advantage that normally gets trotted around, beyond the ascetic and social outcast stuff. I'm sure those studies were discredited anyway. What also cuts down on those things is basic hygiene, wearing a condom and not sticking your dick in people with venereal diseases.

I'm sure there are tribes and parts of the world where men are in favour of female circumcision (I'll call it genital mutilation when we apply the term equally) I wonder what their reaction would be to that. As I understand it doesn't the foreskin provide a sort of ribbing essentially increasing pleasure for the other sexual partner. I'm in the UK, I've never even heard of someone circumcised over here or in the majority of Europe. I'm sure they exist but it's probably just the religious nuts or…

Normally I would think this is just a joke and to hell with it people are just being too sensitive etc. However in the interests of fairness and to give their reaction some context imagine if a similar joke against vaginas was made. Something like Charlie Sheen saying "I hate cunts so much I wish I could punt every last one of them but I can't so I go after animals" Personally I think either everything is okay to be made fun of or nothing is.

From what I've read it started because of the anti-masturbation aspect but stuck around after that went away because "it's always been done" the fact that it's an elective procedure so they can charge for it has helped it stick around also. There was some crap about it preventing infections and lowering the chance of AIDs but I was under the impression that had been disproved and if not you know basic hygiene and condoms.

You be amazed at the amount of people in Europe, the UK especially, that aren't circumcised it seems to just be a US thing to me, possibly a North American thing. I know other places do it but the US seems to be the worst developed country for it.
