After looking at the situation more, I am grateful I got out. My heart goes out to the guys who got in deeper and felt more damage. I can't imagine feeling any worse than I do trying to rebuild from this. I got a gym membership, am saving up money to move out of my parents, and am trying to get stronger every day.

No financial obligations at all. Haven't talked to her in 6 months and never will again. Her brother called me a month after the breakup to let me know "I wouldn't have to go to his wedding that I was standing up in." I told him that was obvious. He also asked me how I was doing. Definitely think it was his sister (my ex) putting him up to it. Thank you for the response brother. I will stay strong and take you advice.

My God, thank you so much!!! You seriously made my day man. I will keep that in mind. I'm 30, going back to school. I've got nearly every science prerequisite to do but I've got time. No gf, mortgage, and minimal student loans. Taking A&P and Chem 1 as we speak!

Oh I went NC the day she dumped me. I will never talk to her ever again. She texted me 3 weeks later saying she wanted to drop off my clothes. I noped the fuck out of responding to her. I leave my house for 45 mins, and there are all my belongings on my porch. Very creepy.

Man, I can't tell you how motivational and helpful this was to read. Now that she's out of my life I can go back to school to become a doctor, something she always guilted me about.
