This is either the worst experience of your life, or the BEST. It's all in how you look at it. You learned a very valuable life lesson in women, BPD, and HSV. You could have married this bitch, and you would have-trust me, and you would be BEGGING to go back to the time when 15k and 2.5 years was all you were out.

Perspective, man. What burns is the fact that she will never, Never, NEVER learn her lessons because she doesn't know she is doing anything wrong. That's like trying to teach a tornado that it was wrong for destroying your house. Suing her will only cause you to lose bigger - no lesson will be learned, you'll pay all your money to lawyers, and not only will you not recoup any money (because you'll likely lose because she will have no problem lying and crying in court), but you'll have to deal with her for another six months to a year, and believe me, it will pull you back down emotionally. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Take the L.

It's over, you've learned, now move on and let the pain of this experience burn the biggest fucking metal fire in your soul to lift, improve, and find a quality woman that works as hard to make you happy as you work making yourself happy. You've had a taste of hell, now go find a slice of heaven.

And don't identify yourself by your HSV. With treatment you will live a happy, healthy, and banging life when you lead with honesty and caution. Best of luck, brother.

EDIT - one more thought. The worst thing you could do to anyone who is BPD or NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) is to fucking GHOST them. No contact. No replies. Never take bait. Never engage. Remember: you have donated 2.5 years to this chick. Do not donate one more second of your most valuable resource - your TIME. She will escalate and pull every stop in an attempt to get you to respond, and I want you to bask in that torture. Prove to her that she is meaningless to you. Remember, my friend, the best revenge is to live well. So go live well.

OP, litigation with this woman is a pointless revenge fantasy. A lot of people approach litigation and a lawsuit based upon a usually mistaken belief that our civil justice system is some sort of idyllic institution capable of meting out cosmic justice in situations like this. In my view, suing her would not vindicate you in the manner you think it would. At the front end, people usually do not appreciate fully the emotionally draining nature of litigation. How it is completely on your mind and consumes you. And the time you spend on the case. And to what end? You are not even going to get any money. And in your case, you not only get to live out your victimization again and dwell on it, matters that are intensely private and embarrassing, but you also share the intimate details of this troubling event with everyone in the Courthouse. You become the water cooler Jerry Springer like conversation at the Clerk of Courts office among the primarily female workers. The Judges assistants review the file and how do you think they react?

The truth is, the person you dated wasn't who you thought she was. She's a broken person. I would argue the motivations for non-violent revenge, such as making her feel shame, regret, etc. are feelings that she is incapable of manifesting. In fact, I suspect, she would feed off the prospect of further contact. This is a woman who made you physically ill merely from being around her. Nietzsche famous quote about gazing into the abyss, and how it stares back at you, and how one who fights monsters must take care not to become a monster himself, applies here. Merely associated with a person as broken as her poisons you. Just let it go and move on.

Dang I went through something similar though on a smaller scale. She had oral herpes and the constant mood changes. Got checked for it and I was lucky not to contract it. Still somewhat hurt by all the lies and hot and cold with a ltr but it's important to understand reality vs illusion, thanks to this place I'm adapting to reality of who I am and improving my life in general.

Bdp women are no joke. We talk about awalt here, but Bdp is that, going super sayain God mode x2.

I had one experience with one, and it was very mild compared to your situation and it still messed me up.

But yea you should feel no shame on what you went through and it's good to see you're getting help. Bdp women is something else.

As others have said - take it as a lesson. You got out relatively unscathed. I had to take a year for myself after unwittingly trying to date an NPD. Complete mindfucks who live in a reality distortion field. They are capable of lying with zero remorse and completely incapable of self-reflection. I recommend you read "No More Mr. Nice Guy". There are likely underlying reasons why you stayed in it for as long as you did when you suspected something was wrong. We tend to look for women that mirror a similar pain that we have in ourselves - often from childhood. In my downtime I learned I was subconsciously seeking out women like this, because I was raised by a narcissistic mother and without a father around. My boundaries for unacceptable behavior were not pushed as soon as they should have been..and it seems the same thing happened with you. Everything clicked while reading books like NMMNG, "The Truth" by Neill Strauss..Take some time for yourself, and learn from it. You are now armed with the red flags that indicate a BPD. If you search other posts about it on this forum, you'll find they are frighteningly similar - even behaviours you once thought of as eccentric are common among them.

Never date a single mom. Do not even sex them. They are predatory wildcats looking for fresh meat to bring home to their bastards. Meat being, your child support money from an "accidental" pregnancy. Her priority will be the spawn of the alpha that widowed her. Your kid (if it's even yours) will be second fiddle, a human ATM machine, doomed to a cruel, insane mother with no moral limits. These women lie easily, as easily as you or I could lie if we thought feeding our own kid depended on it.

You dodged a bullet. Be grateful. Go monk mode, invest in your own family and start building a nest-egg to GTFO of this insane society and start new somewhere women's behavior is still somewhat feminine.
