Agreed. They’re not testing your fitness, they’re testing your mettle. Maybe for the sake of avoiding profanity on this sub (and other places) we can just call them “mettle tests”. (Though I prefer the original phraseology. Sometimes you need to be blunt and call a spade a spade.)

Agree. Don’t let her pick the books. I’d recommend “Rocking the Roles”. Can’t remember the author. Used copies are only a couple bucks. Speaks to the lies of “equality in marriage”, defines specific roles for the man & woman (servant-leader and lover-helper), uses scripture appropriately.

The problem isn't Christianity it's the feminization of Christianity. Rather than following the Bible they're carrying, they try to dance around the whole part where it tells the wife to be submissive to their husband.
