A pedestal is an inflated value of worth placed upon someone or something. Can you pedestalize your parents, your friends, your women, your favorite athletes? Yeah. Money is money. It has its own intrinsic value.

You're going to have good days and bad days. Everyone does, the difference between real frame and just pretending is what it takes to break it. Give yourself some distance from family, co workers and women if you can and if you really need to. Never get too high on the highs or low on the lows. It's why meditation is so heavily recommended around here.

It can be tough balancing act. I had a girl cancel on a concert with me. The concert is next week and we're financially committed. She's started this pattern of "here's what's going on and I don't want you to ask questions about it or give me trouble". Little things like having a problem with her car, she'll come up to me, tell me the issue and then ask that I stay out of it and don't bring it up. She did the same thing with the concert. My gut tells me it's another dude in the picture but it do…

Can confirm, work sends a few of us to China a few times a year. You will feel baller on tinder and in person but they will not hook up with you. They want something serious and when they learn that you'll only be there a month max, it is pretty much over as far as sex goes. It's tough out there in that regard.

Not op, but yeah man. Get them acquainted sexually before the trip otherwise you might have an awkward time and go from two girls to zero.

Welcome to dating in 2016, girls flake. You're clearly insecure about your hair since you brought it up FROM OUT OF NOWHERE. Take care of it or get over it. Women won't often reject you to your face. They'll give a number, set a date or whatever and just ghost. They don't want an altercation in person.

I'll just address your first paragraph: She brought up dancing and you shot her down. She wanted to go out and dance and have fun but you wanted to sit down and drink coffee. Some girls want to date and some girls want to go out and have fun. You didn't gauge her very well and she never confirmed a meet-up with you. All of this frustration is on you. She doesn't owe you anything.

Plausible deny ability and agree and amplify are your best plays at all times. Just the other night I met up with a girl I know for some drinks out of town. She dropped hints about getting fucked up together and just crashing at her hotel after, used PD, I'm in right? We're touching and laughing and she's giving me "fuck me" eyes, I'm in. We get to her hotel and she calls her mom and sister and even texts her crazy ex girlfriend that she's back at the hotel safe and sound with a friend. All thre…

Staying noncommittal to women isn't a bad strategy, many would argue it is the best strategy. This post is calling out the posers. The neckbeards who say they are too intelligent or strange to attract worth-while women. When their real problem is they watch too much anime and eat too many doritos.

For Trump, that's a best case scenario. For Clinton, maybe she does but would that make her unique? How can you trust Trump not to do the same? You're over simplifying it but that's kind of a Trump supporter thing.

The Republican party is a mess. The average American voter is stupid and easily manipulated. A weak crop of candidates. This has created a perfect storm for an opportunistic narcissist like Trump to do what he's doing. I'll give him credit for that too. I replied to someone else in this thread but just because he's a buffoon doesn't mean he can't accomplish things. You need to save her. Send her flowers with a note about how much she means to you. Seriously, don't let this one leave. These quality women don't come around that often. Have her move in. For your 1 year anniversary, castrate yourself and gift wrap your testicles with the embroidery: "together forever". Nothing but smooth sails for you my friend, I'm jealous.

Is it a waste of time and not worth the hassle? That's for him to decide. Are there single women he could lay instead if this particular married woman? Sure. Do you mean to say that single women don't have their own baggage and shit he could waste his time on and have be a hassle? The beauty is that he is a free man to do as he pleases and enjoy/suffer the consequences as he goes about his business in life.

So you've lost frame and have lost it for a long time. You need to get it back or remain miserable. You got her pregnant; you can't change it, the bigger mistake was probably co habitation.

I agree with you. I think you could make the case that accepting her baggage is entering her frame. When you spin women, you keep it fun and on your terms (frame) until that plate drops. She keeps the baggage (her frame) at the door and enjoys my company until one of us is ready to move on. Some have been more complicated in that regard than others. As someone who has always done okay with women, I'd have missed out on some fun women and good lays if I always avoided the ones who had commitments…

Sometimes we get so clouded by anger that we forget that society is men's fault. Some women see it. They see their peers or others a little older than them and say "drug and alcohol problems? A kid? Non stable relationships?" No thanks. But they aren't sure how to actively avoid it. Or they aren't sure that each poor decision adds up. We've failed the feminist shit test and as a result we've failed women. That much I can agree with.

I've commented about this in the past, but it really depends on how well you lead. You need to make her relax and have fun. It's going to be painful for her the first few times so you're going to have to go slow and pay attention to her body queues. She'll be self conscious so comfort tests will be aplenty. Keep the mood light and expect to get blue balls as she may not want to keep going. Don't be an asshole. Kiss her, cuddle, smile and laugh. I've made a couple of girls into custom made freaks…

On the push pull dynamic, she's probably used this shit test countless times before and guys just caved in and set her right on that pedestal. It sounds like you passed it and now she's curious, maybe interested. Some girls just like a challenge so give her a little more attention if you want, then pull back. Never 100%. Tell her you'll be somewhere and that she should come join you. When you're there you need to escalate and then you'll get a better idea of her interest or if she's playing game…

Girls are so used to guys acting like bitches. I've had girls seek out my friends and ask them why I don't return texts right away. The answer they always give is because I'm a pretty busy guy. Attractive girls get instant attention from bitch boys. You're in the middle of a push/pull dynamic so just keep playing.

Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read somewhere on here that when she complains about her boyfriend to you, you do not speak ill of him to her but rather prop him up and tell her to give him the benefit of a doubt. This has a reverse psychology thing and brings her closer to you and makes him look worse.

You mentioned exfoliating and moisturizing so I assume you're talking about your skin. You need to talk to your doctor and get on an aggressive treatment. Since I've started changing my attitude from seller to buyer when it comes to women, texting became a great tool. I can find out how interesting she is, how horny she can get etc. My only rule is to keep it light for the most part. Anything serious should be discussed in person.

It keeps the girl from wasting anymore of my time. It communicates that I'm into her, but I won't compromise what I want just to give her what she wants. She wants an orbiter; I want to sleep with her. She either leaves me alone or gets with the program

First, you do care about her. Props for having the right mindset and seeing other women. Second, make a move and if she pushes you away, cut contact as fully as possible. If she starts with this shit again, lay it out for her and continue no contact. "You remember what happened last time? I don't have time for these games, buddy." This has worked for me.

The bit about salary negotiation is tricky. While I'm still relatively new in my field, it's still an employers market. We've brought in 4 people to interview to help me in my department in the last 2 weeks. I've heard my boss say things like "I don't like that guys face and hair". " This girl just sounds like she's going to be hard to work with" etc. I feel like playing hardball on negotiating salary would just raise a red flag and hinder an opportunity, if they're so nitpicky to begin with. Try not to engage in arguments. This is a great time to use AA. "You're probably right, you won't even shit on my chest" then grin. Soft next her and go radio silent, I think she'll come back around. She's probably looking for commitment.

Women ask me to lift and carry heavy shit at work all the time. Sometimes I'm busy and say no, sometimes I just do it to get it done. It doesn't take a lot of deliberation. With any shit test, you have two options: AA or ignore When it comes to other men, they're most often trying to get a reaction out of you. It amuses them to see you defend yourself. I attended a bible college out of high school. We had girls at this school, not to be confused with a monastery. Every professor basically told every class that had girls "find a strong Christian man to marry". Now these girls are sexually repressed as you could imagine. There is a way to get girls in your social circle but that's another topic of conversation. For the love of god man, never get married especially if you're feeling trapped with a girl who is less-than.
/r/TheRedPill12/10/15 06:45 PM

I wasn't calling your girl shitty. In your social circle, everyone knows you're dating down. Consciously or otherwise, women measure themselves against the girl they see you with and so on. You look good, I'm just chirping in to try and help out. You've got a defeatist mentality based on your original post and I'm sure that manifests itself in your interactions with women, including your SO. Work on that shit. It looks like your problem isn't physical.

Their perceptions of their previous boyfriends are negative. They'll bitch about everything. Who cares what they say. You do nice things for a girl to help maintain a relationship, plate or ltr. You don't do nice things for a girl to win her affection. "Reward" good behavior and "punish" bad behavior. Too much nice shit and you'll turn into a doormat. I'm not a huge fan of blanket labeling things as BP or RP. That said I think it's important to look out for yourself. You're clearly not comfortable with the parameters set in this relationship. You're in a shitty spot. If you come here seeking answers/options, don't think of it as a pity party and nobody else will. I wish I could help you out. A solution will present itself. Don't fucking stop.

The first part of your quoted article addresses the fact that Theron is the lead instead of Hardy. She's been prominently promoted in all of the marketing I've seen so I guess I don't see a problem yet. The rest of it alludes to feminist undertones throughout the movie and again, that's fine. This isn't out of character for Hollywood and I think we'll all be able to draw our own conclusions soon. That's the point I'm making.

The Silence of the Lambs showed that a good movie could be made with a female lead. Hollywood has been making movies with an agenda for a long time. I watch movies to be entertained, so unless the feminist agenda distracts away from the movie, this is a non issue for me.

The abridged version of my "rock bottom" story is as follows: Had my license suspended, lost my job, ltr of 3 years split, had to move back in with my parents all within a span of 2 weeks. Took me a year to get my license back and found TRP in that time. Everything was my fault and TRP helped me internalize that. Stop blaming others and be better.

Yes, she'll let you know. It's not your typical lmr scenario. This is unexplored territory for her and she'll be self-conscious. Don't get frustrated and hold frame. Always make it playful and pressure free.

Assuming she's actually a virgin, just keep escalating. Expect to catch a case of the blue balls a few times. If you feel like taking on the project, just be patient and lead her. You can have your own custom made freak.

Yep, used to have this problem. They think you're in their league. If you get better, you'll attract better.

When you're catching attitude from a date, specifically the silent treatment, you cut the date short. If you feel inclined, a genuine "what's wrong sweety" isn't a bad move. If she persists you go home

This is still reddit after all. I'd go so far as to say that even a lot of the good content posted on here by RP veterans is self-congratulatory ego stroking. Just take the things you can learn I guess.

Go to the place you want, when you want. You're making a memory with your family and it shouldn't matter where the venue is. You've identified your problem, now work on yourself and stfu. You sound like a princess on your sweet 16 man.

Just the other day I gave one of the cute girls I work with some shit about eating all of the donuts. She had a couple before lunch and another after lunch. "Damn are you gonna let some other people enjoy a donut?" I smiled and made an oink sound. Later I puffed my cheeks out at her and heard her call me a dick under her breath. This was all good natured. Shit's fun

It's good practice if you have approach anxiety. I think that's about it. These girls (generally) aren't used to attention and are a different ball of wax. This doesn't mean nawalt, just that teasing a 9 will give you a much different experience than a 4.

Pick anything you want to tease her about and apply a shit eating grin. It also depends on your objective and works best with girls you already have some kind of contact with.

I hear that. Sometimes I wonder if it's obvious how I treat them compared to the good looking women. Makes me feel bad for a couple seconds.

Teasing women is one of the more pleasurable interactions you can have with them. Couple this interaction with occasionally ignoring them and you can have a girl wrapped around your finger. Just hold frame. Texting for logistics only is recommended around here but it can be useful in this fashion. Switch up how often you text a girl. Never talk about serious shit. Try to end the conversation with making/confirming plans. It's just another tool in the toolbox.

I'm 27. If she's at the age of consent and she passes my boner test, it's on like donkey kong. Just keep in mind that rolling with younger girls comes with their own set of problems.

Sure, sure and sure. Are you having fun? Are you improving yourself in as many areas as possible? If so then stay safe, the sky is the limit. Approach and go after as many girls as you like.

You don't have to keep yourself in that position with that particular girl. Start getting closer with others and be outcome independent. Change it up. Meanwhile keep improving and learn how to escalate with girls you're interested in. If one of them declines, move onto the next one. You're in a good spot and it's possible that other girls have noticed you around this girl, that helps.

A lot of it has to do with effecting performance in bed. A vagina can't grip as hard as your hand and it can make things difficult. Also, porn can set unrealistic expectations on you and the girl.

In my personal experience, I have to keep some type of communication going on with a girl I'm seeing via text, at least at first. I tend to see 18-23 year old girls and sometimes they flake, lose interest if there isn't a little bit of text conversation. It could be argued that these girls weren't that interested to begin with, fair enough. My rules are: make sure she texts last, no heavy conversation shit, mix up how quickly I respond, try to end with making/confirming plans to see each other. …

Thanks man. Called her today and she said she's actually "talking" to someone right now. On to the next one

I'll certainly take a look. I'm pretty sure I'm seen as only a friend as that's all we've known each other as. I'm not worried about that though. I'm going to start touching her more for kino, but I'm just unsure on the logistics for how to pull her aside and ask her out. Side note, I'm one of two guys in our group, the other is in a ltr so I don't have any immediate competition within the group.

I agree minus the name calling. Calling her a bitch shows you're butt hurt and kills your frame.

Agreed 100%. If you want to spin/date 18-24 year old women, you need more text game than just the "logistics". You should also be setting up dates no later than 3 days in advance, if not sooner.

What kind of commitment are you talking about? All women are prone to reacting emotionally (awalt). Some of them are genuinely good people regardless. Don't get stuck in the anger phase, they're not the enemy. However I agree that they are terrible confidants. If you want to spin a plate or two, or even hold a ltr, that's the cost of doing business. That's the way I look at it or there's always mgtow.

Sounds like a mindset problem. Try getting into a few of the books recommended in the sidebar if you haven't already. Maybe try some meditation. My RP journey is still ongoing but my understanding is that being disinterested in women is part of the ebb and flow that comes with TRP life. Can't live life on the mountain top, sometimes you'll be in the valley.

Thanks for the advice, that's a great way to start. Some of these are clear red flags, work relationship be damned.

I'm already catching some shit from co-workers about our "V-day plans". The fact that we enjoy spending time together isn't lost on anyone in the office. In fact we've actually addressed the nature of our relationship to each other. We both acknowledge that working together and trying to have an actual "relationship" is probably a bad idea. But neither of us seems to want to change our behavior.

Her school schedule puts her here for 3 months then school for 3 months etc. She's good at her job and will most likely be hired in when she graduates fwiw.
