The other day I read how the women washing clothes in the river in some western country in the past were so obnoxious in catcalling the men that they banned it. Don't idealize the past.

We like physically hot women. We are coded that way. If you want to think its shallow fine, I think its great. And I don't see how being very intelligent, which has a strong genetic component, is any more noble than being beautiful. I'm intelligent well above the mean. I can understand complex concepts and I can do it better than people my age since I was a little kid. I did not do anything special to deserve it, I just found easy what the majority had to spend more time and effort to understand…

Man here, this is my guess. You are probably near 25. You feel the power because you have it. Assuming everything you have told us is true you are indeed a great catch. Your issue is that you are so drunk in your power that you don't acknowledge is only temporary. You know it, but you don't really fully understand it. Men are not only attracted to physical characteristics, a good personality is a great complement. But physical attractiveness is what we first see, its what drives us in. The perso…

Anarchy is order. Civilization has appeared because of the organic growth produced by the natural anarchic mentality of men in spite of the discordination introduced by governments.

Its a problem of economic structure, not amount of people. I would be very wary of economic explanations made by historians, they tend to be awful and incorrect.

I don't know if I'd like that. Imagine how complacent you would get. Imagine how little pressure you would have suffered in life and therefore how your though paths would have developed. Imagine how addicted to that validation you'd be. Etc... Sure it sucks when you have to go through it, but at the same time there is something freeing in knowing you went through it.

Most women including feminist still have the biological fueled desire of finding a provider. If culture shifts towards the idea that having the male be the provider is not cool and/or progressive or whatever, they will still reject a non provider male but will never admit that as the cause, they will just give some other excuse. This is already happening to some degree. Edit: And about your personal inclinations, they are fine as long as you understand and accept the most probable consequences (…

See, this shows how irrelevant is the number she says. This girl could have really decided to be honest with his boyfriend and anonymously in the internet and give a real number or close. Or not, she could have fucked 400 guys and just trying to make it sound better Now you have another girl claiming she has slept with 9 guys. For all we know this second girl could have fucked 150 guys vs 80 of the first one. She could just be better at lying. The number a women gives you is utterly irrelevant. …

It's always funny how people adapt their basic instincts to new technology. Decades earlier this woman would have cheated on her short husband and would have justified having someone else kid as making a favor to the marriage for having a "better" kid. Now they know husband can test paternity, so she decides to outright ask like if it is the most natural thing in the world.

I'm not against naturally formed hierarchies, but a sense of equality helps keep a society working. When a few have a lot and others are struggling to even eat, it's not realistic to ask the second group to understand and respect their place in the hierarchy. No matter how much you tell them its for a better future (even if true) or whatever, they won't accept it. Also, shaking hierarchies helps in keeping the system efficient.

This is incredibly insightful. Women only see the results not the actions that lead there, and assume the results they see are what created the situation. Without respect there is no love, but respect has to come first, even between male friendships.

If feminists were really against rape they would criticize this woman. Because, while the main victim of her lies was a man, all these lies coming out affect the credibility of any woman claiming rape like nothing else could.

I completely disagree on the moral part. I won't fuck the women of a friend but a women from some unknown dude is not my responsibility. Those are my morals and I abide by them. I'm a moral person. Trying to establish a set of objective morals, the ones you like in particular, and saying that the people who don't abide by your particular set can not really be moral is ridiculous. Is trying to gain moral superiority and then shame others.

In that case I suggest the books of Antonio Damasio. He is the neurologist who first came up with this explanation as to why evolution has "made" us this way and not purely logical. His works will be better than anything I can write, and he includes examples of people with damage in the emotional part of the brain.
/r/TheRedPill23/04/15 08:22 AM

As I said, it is impossible for a human to make a purely logical decision. This is not psychology or psychiatry but neurology. You are going against all our scientific knowledge when you claim males are capable of being purely rational. You need and do always use your emotional system when you make a decision. This does not mean male and female brains are the same (neurology also shows they are not) or that we have necessarily the same or similar cognitive capacity. What I'm trying to tell you i…

It depends on your definition of irrational. What neurology says is that when you are in front of the spread sheet trying to take a decision both your emotional and cognitive part of the brain are working and interacting with each other, and also that ultimately the region that decides is the emotional. Whether you want to call this irrational or not I'll leave it to you. The reason as to why evolution "has arrived" to this solution has to do with the infinity of options we have and the limited …

Emotional intelligence, which is a diffuse and not well defined idea, did get us to the moon. There is a spread out idea among a section of trp that is false. Its the idea that a human can make a pure logical decision. Neurology is a solid science, not something like psychology or even psychiatry, and it has discovered that all human decisions are an interaction between the logical and emotional parts of the brain but the decision is finally settled in the emotional part of the brain. It's impos…

And I'm telling you that's a very self serving idea and those are usually wrong. Nature is usually about trade off's, pros and cons. When some theory puts you as superior it usually comes from the ego and not from looking for the truth. I'm not opposed to the idea that one sex might tend to have more logical capacity than the other, that's a probable possibility. Although I believe the idea of logical capacity of the brain is a wrong one and intelligence can not be defined in such a simplistic w…

It's happening for men too. I am very close to the mean height, only slightly above. I'm quite fit, but my natural frame before putting on muscle is very thin. I usually use an M, sometimes I need an L. I went to buy a top from this american brand, and the M was a bit too lose. A bit weirded I tried the S and it fit well. The thing is this brand did not have a XS. So the smallest size fits well a guy slightly above the average height and fit. My guess is they have determined that catering to fat…

You make a good point, although we men are not as constructive and collaborative as you paint us, but this part: Does it make them intelligent? No, because they do it automatically and hard-wired reflexes shouldn't be confused with intelligence. Do you realize you could say the same for men impulses? Of course all humans, men and women, are driven by impulses, instincts, but that does not mean the cognitive part of the brain is not used.

Sure you can, at least for a while. Also you are correct that being rich has its drawbacks. But I can assure you they are nothing compared with the drawbacks of being poor (otherwise people would just donate the money and go back to being poor). I disagree. Career women are gullible women that are not capable of seeing the problems of what they are being proposed so it's a good thing they are being phased out. Define love. If you mean a electrochemical process in the brain that bonds you with a female, I'm pretty sure most people here can. The issue is this process is "expensive" for the brain so one has to be wary of allowing it to happen too easily with any girl you meet. You want to be sure you've had enough experiences and are sure about the value of the girl. Otherwise you become one of those love junkies, that devaluate the idea of love looking for a (naturally produced) high. And that is what t…

Men attitude and hence our power tends to be overt, while women attitude and hence their power tends to be covert. She has a point though. Video games are designed to be addictive. And for someone who has never gotten into video games it can be overwhelming and even consuming. The thing is the same is true with a man. Any man btw, some more some less, but any man. Studies have shown how emotions make us change views, not reason. You are missing the point of power talk, that is to transmit a point that only someone "in the know" will get. When you are both talking in power talk, you are not dancing without a purpose. You don't know how much the other person know, so you are testing the waters without compromising yourself or reveling how much you know. At the end it gets kind of stupid and direct talk becomes much more productive, but powertalk has a purpose, its not just a dance you have to play just because.

Money starts losing value the more you have (like everything else but it's not that intuitive with money). But when you have little money, making more money does bring happiness. It means being able to do things you weren't able to do before. But that does not mean anything related to the validity of the christian mythology or its morals. One thing is having a woman fall out and then recover contact after some time because she's short of dicks or orbiters. But if a woman is consistently taking 24h to answer every message, take a hint and cut your loses. 99% of the times you are going nowhere.

I completely disagree that betas see the world as a child would. Children are very hierarchy aware. A beta sees himself down the hierarchy, does not like it and then convinces himself or lets someone convince him that the hierarchy does not exists, or its wrong (sometimes it is). Some kids are trained by his parents in beta's way from the start but in general kids are very aware of who commands respect and are very sensible to it (their life once depended on it).

Short answer: Because men and women are different. Longer answer: There are several reasons. Men are attracted to low partner count girls while women are attracted to high partner count men (social proof). High partner count women have a higher probability of divorce than low partner count women, while it makes very little difference for men (which is probably the base for the different preference between men and women). I'm sure there are more reasons.

No, the whole point of trip is to understand social dynamics with special enfasis in understanding men-women relationships. Once you have a better understanding its up to you what you do with that knowledge. You'll find posts about how to smash as much pussy as you can and you'll find posts about how to maintain a LTR. Different people have different objectives, you just have to apply what you learn here in the way adequate for your particular objective. If I were you I'd check /r/redpillwomen .…

Everything is speculation, even staying in cash. It's true Bitcoin is more volatile for now and given it's short history has more unknowns, but that also means the potential for a bigger upswing. "don't use logic with women" is a good advice for someone who is starting, specially for the nerdy reddit population, who tend to bore everybody, not just women, with logic arguments when people just want to joke and relax. That's excellent advice if you are dealing with an emotionally adjusted person. It's horrible advice in this case. She suspects someone bothers you so she brings him up. First, your liberal vs conservative talking points won't take you anywhere. With that out of the way, the Gilded Age in the USA was not a free market banking system. Just before the end of the USA civil war Lincoln passed the National Bank Act that centralized credit in the New York banks through a pyramid system of types of banks. Also, there were regulations tying government debt with currency and private debt issuance. Thus, the USA suffered banking crisis. Compare that to the same period in …

It's not that suddenly women groups have become powerful. It's because women issues align with the political strategy of the dem party for the next elections. Remember how slavery and race became even a bigger issue prior to the first Obama election? Now is the turn to pump up women issues because Hillary wants to be the first female president. SRS and co have managed to infiltrate and get to admin positions in lots of subreddits where they censor without too much opposition usually. The users of the subreddit had been OK with the admins until the censorship got too heavy.

But if you want to keep believing men are the best and women are just inferior baby factories go ahead. It's too egotistical and self serving for me, but nobody is going to stop you. I'm just trying to have a discussion to have a back and forward of my ideas.

Its a possibility but seems very wasteful and evolution tends to not be that wasteful. It's clear that dimorphism indicates specialization but it would surprise me if its that one sided. Why spend the energy of maintaining such a big living being when a much more reduced version would suffice for reproduction only?

But he has a point. Success brings complacency a lot of the time. Success in one area is used to compensate failures in others. Its human nature.

As I say men excel at physical coordination thus, together with physical superiority, it makes sense that men are superior to women at sports. Men are not exactly superior logically than women. If we go by IQ, as faulty as that indicator is, men are more diverse while women are more average. That means there are more high IQ men than women but there are also more low IQ men than women. Does than mean men are more or less intelligent than women? My point is that the male and female imperatives ar…

Clinical narcissists and other borderline personalities are crazy. They ultimately have their reasons to do what they do but its both so retarded and complicated that is not worth loosing sleep over it. Your mother is malicious to you, that's enough for you to know. A degree right now is just following school for most people, it has low value. Its not like before where having a college degree was exclusive. I think it will help him to drop college now and try something different. He might try different stuff and end up deciding to give college another go, but then hell be sure and will actually find value in it unlike now. Or he might find something else that he likes. Since you want debate, it seems to me that you agree with a good part of trp, but disagree on "misoginy and anti-feminism". But your blog post mainly comments in the parts you agree with, while never justifying or even commenting on the parts you disagree. You'll have to admit that's bizarre for a critic post. If you want debate you might want to explain why you think those parts of trp are bad.

Well, if you want to discuss the issue, first the age matters. As you get older in certain crowds not wearing a suit will make you the weird one. Similarly you make a good point that in certain other crowds, specially younger, a suit looks too try hard. Its important to dress for where you go All that said, if you know how to wear a dress and look natural in it, not like you are pretending, girls dig it, at least most girls. And we look good in suits.

Science and extreme objectivity have their place in the mind of a man, but they are not for every situation, in fact they are not for most situations. The reason is because that way of thinking is very expensive in time and energy. You can not use them in most situations. Theory describing reality is amoral. Action is always moral. Don't be a pussy and pretend that your actions have no consequences. Actions are always moral. Exactly. Men and women are different and have different biological imperatives. If you apply masculine values to a female you will see her as vile. The point is those values don't apply to her. But the equality steamroller is so strong in today's society that it confuses the hell out of present males and we end up lashing to the fences out of desperation.

But at least we're also honest about men too Somewhere along the way, if we're honest between sexes, we realize the... Implying women value honesty over fun, wealth or social standing, you should know better (obligatory check what they do not what they say). Women will even consider you low value if you are too honest. The different need of honesty in male vs female groups took me a while to get.

There is the underlying implication with trp that men and women are different, at a biological level, including mental differences not only physical. This goes against feminist core dogma, not just some side issue, but their core (funnily enough science agrees with trp, but they don't care, patryarchy influence and all that shit). Thus why you see this deep and uninformed hate. Trp openly challenges one of their core believes. So when confronted they lash out in their eco chambers.
