No not an idiot at all. You raised them that means you love them and they you like father and son. It does not matter if one is step or not a father and sone bond is a father and son bond does not matter. I salute you sir. Respect.

Dude i completely undertsand and i agree but do not forget you done with her, not yourslef. Do what you need to do to just settle whatever needs to be settled with her and then bye bye fuck you dont need to meet you anymore unless abolutly necessary. As far as other women, fuck that too, just as women say sometimes i dont need a man to define me, well we dont need women to define us either. Now sytart anew, persue your passions and hobbies and excel at them.

Glad to hear and gives us hope. Question the four years at which year did you find happiness and peace, i can get an idea roughly how long it takes

The most important thing here is that no matter what happens things have to be kept amicable, and good terms its the only way that at the very least you both can agree what is best for the kids, which should be joint custody and both parents continue to be a part of their lives. I had the exact sae situtaion in that literally 20 years, she fell out of love and stuff and we have a child. Whatever we agree or disagree with keeping it civil is what made sure that we will agree to present a united f…

I think it depends as an Indian man where you live, and if in India what segment of the Indian society.

Sir i feel you should constantly be vigilant with your kids, anything they say, keep open dialogue with them at all times. You don't have to and you shouldn't just accept this.

How is custody handled ? This is the most difficult part for me i want cut all contact with mine, but i cant becasue i still want to see my child, but that means she will alsways be a part of my life. You have every right to be concerned for the safety of your kids, how old are your kids ?

I was married for 20 years and things were good when suddenly what you said, there was no confession, but i guess it could be that. But thought id share before marriage there was a stable 4 year relationship. So i dont know how one garuntees it would work

it does suck. Whatever decision you make do not base it on that you were wrong, at no point are you in the wrong in this. Its not gonna be easy and it does suck, but do not loose this fact, she is in the wrong.

It does not change my opinion. You were in a relationship and you guys took a break. During that break you can do whatever true. And that is not the issue. But when coming back together ideally one then comes clean. OK fine still not a deal breaker. Marriage is then in the equation then it has to happen. The minute marraige is a thing then you are not in the wrong. And when a child is a possibilty then these things have to put on the table. Look im from a diferrent culture from you maybe that co…

Listen you make the decision that you need to make, but do not for a minute think you are in the wrong. That needs to be clear, you are not in the wrong
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/26 06:12 AM

they are wrong. Its not about what she did during seperation its about coming clean when one is thinking of ending the seperation, once the decision is made ok were coming back, then one needs to come clean. You are not in the wrong in the slightest.

dude she is toxic, does not matter if it was during a break, seperated is not a divorce, its seperated, she needs to have told you everything once the separated phase ended. She took too long to tell you she needs to go.

i think if she is not completely against the idea of visitation then there is room for negotiation. Perhaps a middle-ground can be achieved.

Is she saying that if you move to her state you can have visitation ?

hanging out with her and my kid is enjoyable and comforting same for me, and i totally agree that one needs to break ties and move on. But i doint know how one does that if one has children. I will read the advice people give you, will be useful to me aswell and i am sure to others. Thank for sharing

Has she given a reason why she feels this is needed ? I mean i dont think one should agree to this unless you think it can work both ways, but she has to atleast give her reasons

i guess i just have to explore and figure out the answer i at this stage dont really know the reasons but i just dont get the inkling to want to seek companionship, of any sort. If i see someone attractive for example i will acknowledge that i find attractive but neither companionship or physical or emotional, no i wouldn't say desire but a conscious thought exists which just says na.

/r/Divorce_Men26/05/26 02:40 PM

Question if i may ask - after 3 years what do feel is diferrent about you from last year and the year before ?
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/26 02:36 PM
