In my experience most dudes can't fight. They take a couple of swings and when that fails to faze you they charge. (in my experience this happens in about 10-30 seconds) A good ground game helps you win. Also knowing how to grapple enables you to control someone without having to pummel them within an inch of their life. I recommend Gracie Jiu-Jitsu over classic wrestling but any training is better than none. Wrestling or boxing? Why not both?

My point is that attitude goes a long way and (in my humble opinion) is more important than status or shiny things. Of course it helps if you're attractive... I was working fast food.
