Why do you think people who tease and banter or more well received than those who try and be "nice" or get to know people? I agree with what your saying as I've seen it work.

I didn't ride that train because I value genuine connections. And this post was biased to my own experiences so apologies if it came off as offensive. However, I think raw/uncut posts like this garner the best responses and there's been a lot of positive feedback from this thread that I think myself and others can learn from to move forward into better social lives. Take care

Yes that's true it is biased to my personal experience and it could have been worded better. However, I think raw, unfiltered posts like this trigger honest responses and I feel theres been a lot of positive feedback for self development. At the end of the day I want everybody (including myself) to do well in their social life and I hope this post can do that. I in no way mean to disrespect anyone with the post title/bio so apologies if it did it was just raw and uncut. 🙏

Look bud, there's always going to be varied perspectives in life. If it's easier for you to shoebox things go ahead. That's the whole point of a forum to contribute varying perspectives. If not you may aswell be having a conversation in your head 🤷‍♂️

"Most good guys are not as good as you think"? So abusive guys are better? And not ALL men that are successful with women are abusive so maybe my post was a broad a statement. But in today's culture A LOT of them are and women seem to be attracted to that.

I agree with you to a certain extent. BUT! Hear my out. I think women that advocate against Alpha maleism and "toxic masculinity" STILL SEEK OUT THOSE TRAITS! They just DON'T want those traits in men they DON'T VALUE! That's what they are truly against. Think about it....

I agree with you on self work being the key which is what I work on. It's just annoying when your dating a girl and being genuine with them but they think your 'boring" because your not acting like Will Smith or portraying a stereotype. I'm in my mid 20s so you have to understand the generation I'm coming from where making GENUINE connections is HARD due to the internet where everybody wants things NOW. But maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. As for now I'm working on my self. Take care.

Facts. And to your last sentence don't go for your friends girl 😉

Try again. A woman liked me and told me "I should be more assertive" but looking at her history the guys she dated were less "assertive" but more so abusive. Either way I don't deal with these type of women.

"They think the only part of them that deserves love I'd the kind and perfect part". Damn! This is true af. So we hide the bad parts. How do you think this relates to low self esteem and why is only projecting your good side usually detrimental?
/r/seduction12/11/20 09:38 AM
6

True. Self esteem is probably the biggest issue. They are attracted to that abusive person because they try and live through them in a way. They do things they'd never dare to do. Sort of like how people live through video game characters.
/r/seduction12/11/20 09:33 AM

Nope. I'm talking about men who have abusive traits and would potentially cause harm. So maybe they aren't "boring" as you put it because the danger excites them.

If the shoe fits. And not all women but the ones who willingly dated toxic men due to looks/status etc but then want the guys they overlooked to have open arms now they've come off that train ride, yes that's washed up. Washed up behaviour. And men and women are equal so you saying no good guy would describe "women" as washed up like gender determines your ethics just shows your bias. Like I said. If the shoe fits.

You need to be in environments where socialising is mandatory. It sounds like it's all mental. You need to narrow down what you want. Don't think like a caveman "Me want woman" think which type of woman would suit my individual needs, personality and lifestyle. Once you've figured that out go to those environments. Join in activities. Socialise with everyone (not just the women) and through the new friends you make etc eventually you should naturally find someone.

I don't mean taking about atoms and electrons just a normal conversation really. But yeah I guess when you click with someone you click with them.

I hear you man. Do you happen to be introverted? I am slightly myself and sometimes that puts people off

Not even just silly immature guys but straight up beta males be getting a lot of action. I think it's about control. Whatever you do don't water yourself down. Just embrace being bold, women and opportunities will respect that regardless of how society tries to act.

Fully get what your saying with this! I shared this same mindset of being afraid to approach somebody not because of them but more about what they might think of me and their perception. I didn't want to come across as "intimidating" as you said but this inevitably killed the interaction. I'm 6ft4 so I get where your coming from. I amost tried to make myself be smaller and timid whilst the actual small beta males would act bigger and end up getting the girls and best opportunities. It's all a mi…

Exactly. Before I would agree with this post but I know better. Don't outright tell them "you like them" but make your intentions clear from the jump. Don't make yourself her shoulder to cry on aka lil b**ch
/r/seduction14/10/20 08:07 PM

You see your not "just some other dude" seducing them if they're interested in you. Don't think for them. Be honest and true with your intentions. Saves yourself time and being let down in the future.
/r/seduction14/10/20 08:04 PM

That's a sticky one. I get what your saying in terms of the mindset but in practice I think it's better to be upfront. Don't friend zone yourself.

Do you really want the nice guy? I think some women say this but deep down its not true. It's like let me mess around when I'm young and get the "nice guy" to clean it up now but really they despise him. These same women usually cheat.

But if you were assuming familiarity you wouldn't be feeling shy around them right? Your not shy around your close friends? I'm an introvert so I understand
/r/seduction24/09/20 05:41 PM

How is assuming familiarity not being yourself?🤔
/r/seduction24/09/20 05:11 PM

Just be yourself. Not in the stereotypical "just be yourself" bs way I mean don't put on an act and try to be extra polite or "confident". Express YOUR personality. Assume familiarity with the person your interested in. If they're receptive then you have a match. Done.

Thanks! This is top advice. Having geniuine interest in the person should definitely keep the convo going.

This question is gold
/r/seduction16/09/20 09:57 PM

Ok. But it just seems like fake convo like an act. With guys you can feel it's natural.
