All my friends that I still maintain contact with are, at the least, 3 hours away driving. My coworkers are all over twice my age and do not share any of my interests

Genuine question about the concept of social lubricant Is that not predatory in a way? Like. People do stuff they wouldn't normally do if they have a few drinks, thus being easier to influence. That seems dubious to me. I can read the room though and see im in the minority there

Yeah I've met some cool people in coffee shops, just never made any connections. Partly due to who I interacted with, mainly this 70 something regular with a cool hat, partly because of my own personal failings that I'm working on

/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 09:37 PM

thats a more reasonable reason to garner fame. That said, i dont think i could unite humanity by being a content creator
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 08:31 PM

ever heard the phrase "you can't take it with you"? the material is truly boring, sustaining myself is contenting that's not to say i don't like my stuff, i game and wear nice enough clothes. and i'd rather have the attention of one woman that only wants the attention of one man-me
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/24 08:09 PM

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
