Thanks to this sub, I FINALLY blocked a guy who has been hitting me up a disappearing for well over a year. Feels great!

I know you’re right, and deep down I knew this is the answer.

It was HARD for me because in the past I tried to justify everything and give too many chances. This subreddit has totally changed my thinking and actions and I love it!

Exactly. He could have said I was joking about coming over, how about dinner? But no. So I’m done. Thanks!

This is exactly how I felt. I need to learn to go with my gut feeling instead of second guessing. Thanks!

Oh ok. I guess I never saw it since I’m on mobile all the time! Good to know, I wasn’t sure if it was a forever thing or not but I got it and won’t be texting first. Thanks!

Forever? Or does it change at some point?

I guess my question is does it ever get to a point where I start initiating things? Or is it always up to him?

Umm I’m asking how a man canceling would be handled in regard to the rules/ideas this sub follow.

Thank you I will! Also, is it normal to have men private messaging you after you post to this sub? This is my first post and already have some guy in my inbox telling me what I should do 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is good advice. I saw him Saturday, and I agree with you. Thank you!

I would like to still go out tonight, or even Wednesday is fine honestly, I just don’t want him to feel like he’s going to be allowed to start treating me like this. I didn’t even think about seeing him too often either, good call!!

I’m trying to figure out how we avoid this in the very early stages of getting to know someone. I’ve been seeing someone for a couple weeks, and I feel like I’m the quasi girlfriend right now, but I’m also not ready to define the relationship since it’s so new. How do I navigate through this part without getting stuck?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
