I made a previous post about wanting to get together with the guy I’m seeing before we both leave town for the holidays. I followed everyone’s advice of not reaching out to him first, and he finally text me about it last night. He asked when we were getting together next and I let him know I was leaving town Saturday. His response was “Tomorrow night then? I guess I could come to your house and hang out.” We haven’t been to each other’s homes yet, and I didn’t invite him, so I just responded “Wow”. He came back with a laughing text asking what was wrong, we like each other what’s the problem. I completely ignored him. Now today I get a text asking “So that’s a no on doing something tonight then?” I told him as tempting as his shitty offer was, I was going to pass. He responded and said he had only been joking. I feel like he’s back peddling now, and if I’d agreed he’d be all over the idea. Do I even respond to him now? Or just let it go and see if he steps up his game after I return after the holidays? Or should I be done with him all together? Help a newbie out! :)
