Um pay for the kid... raising a kid costs money. Also raising the kid is work in itself. Why do you think there are so many deadbeat dads? Because having a kid is expensive and hard work. Yeah you get way more deadbeat dads because dads don’t give birth. Again, if dads ask for it, courts almost always grant 50/50 custody which would mean no child support either way for most cases. Dads don’t want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:30 AM
2

True. Many people suffer from this. I hope you get help if you want it. It’s also cool to not date too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:29 AM
1

Lord this dumb parroted argument again? Go on google and read.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:28 AM
2

LOL seriously. Every woman knows if she wanted to, esp in her 20s, to fuck a bunch of 20 year old men, she could.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:15 AM
2

If these women think of these men as pedophiles... why would they be jealous? The reaction you’re getting wrong is disgust. You’re seeing disgust and thinking it’s jealousy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:14 AM
1

Because most of us got tricked once and learned.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:13 AM
1

Lol oh the jealousy line Older women aren’t jealous that 40 year old men who want 20 year olds aren’t into us. We have all been there and learned. I’m interested in men my age who are interested in women my age. It’s a turnoff when a 40 year old man wants to target 20 year old women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:12 AM
1

Yup this. Happened to me and my friends in my 20s. All taken advantage of in some way. So yeah it hurts to see the cycle continue even though I know better now.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:10 AM

I’m not sure if I agree with women caring less (maybe they do tho), but why would you expect them to care? Men didn’t just not care about women for the majority of history - they actively oppressed women. Even in the US women were only allowed to vote and get credit cards semi recently. It’s kinda weird to ask why a victim doesn’t care and help her perpetrator with his own personal problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:08 AM
1

Yeah why are men of Reddit so good at leaving out the conclusions of studies?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 07:06 AM
1

Yeah and most women are not willing to risk the high chance of pump and dump after a 3rd date. So it’s a balance. If it’s more important to know sexual compatibility early, then have sex sooner. If you care more about the risk of being pumped and dumped, wait it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:56 AM
2

You men most men would pump and dump most women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:46 AM
1

Men are also very good at emotional manipulation. It’s not a gendered thing. Physical violence is a mostly male trait tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:40 AM
1

LOL you have a point
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:27 AM
1

How do you expect to get dates with women you want then? By waiting for them to ask you out? That’s your choice but I’m just letting you know you might be waiting a long time. Or forever.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:22 AM
1

I shouldn’t have to work harder for the same pay and position.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:21 AM
3

So? Single moms have to pay too and actually do the work. At least men still do way less. And that’s assuming all men pay child support. A huge portion never do. Deadbeat dads....
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:21 AM
3

I mean more women have done this than men? Most households have both parents working full time, even tho the mom does most of the housework. More single moms, more deadbeat dads. Women are more often caretakers for aging or sick family.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:17 AM
2

I would in a second. What burden do males face that I don’t in this case?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:16 AM
3

They do tho. They just don’t want 50/50 custody. Studies show courts usually grant it when asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:15 AM
1

Honestly you are right. You think most of the men in here are desirable successful men responding? Lol of course you’re going to get a bunch of triggered responses, look at your audience. Most of my peers make $300k+ All of them, esp the men, are looking for someone who is similarly successful. If anything, the men are more worried about gold diggers than the women. I have a couple friends in the less than $100k category - these ones don’t care as much. When you have a lot to lose, esp hard work…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:12 AM

Yet Leonardo DiCaprio is always brought up as a good example of what men can look up to? So clearly it is possible for a rich man to only wanna date 25 year old supermodels IF he wants too. So why isn’t every rich guy doing this?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 06:08 AM
1

Yeah seriously. Never has non committal, free, and mostly male-centric sex been this available. Men send dick pics whenever they want and post revenge porn and nudes with little consequence. Women are in bad times, not men. Men won’t pay for dates, expect sex right away, don’t try to pleasure you in bed or on dates. Women still have to do all the housework and child rearing yet bring in half the money.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:58 AM
2

Why should anyone sympathize with incels? They promote violence towards women (and carry it out).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:48 AM
2

Lol accurate
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:44 AM
2

Because it wouldn’t actually help men and it would hurt women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:44 AM
1

That’s fair but let women who want to be paid for have their own rules too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:35 AM
1

I actually offer to pay my portion every time I know I’m never gonna see the guy again.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:34 AM
1

Yes, for a man looking to spin plates. Not a good idea for a woman looking for a Ltr.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:33 AM
3

Ok then men sit at home and have their rights removed so they’re forced to rely on women. Oh and become vulnerable by getting pregnant and beating children. I am ok with that. I wouldn’t mind being the breadwinner in that situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:23 AM
1

Funny how waiting for sex is playing games but waiting to commit isn’t?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:16 AM
3

Women literally die from child birth and ruin their bodies forever. And then have to take care of the child which comes with career and personal sacrifices. Then take care of their male partner on top of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:09 AM
3

Yup. Men have zero problem paying for a woman and doing nice things for her if he likes her. It goes the reverse too, I cooked gourmet style meals almost every night, had him move in with me (he didn’t pay rent because I was trying to help him out during a tough time for him financially), etc. He cleaned the house almost everyday, paid for all our dates out, planned dates, bought me little gifts as a surprise, etc. I was happy to do all those things for him and vice versa. If a man is complainin…

I think there’s a balance. I don’t want a guy to be taking me to a 3 star Michelin restaurant on a first date, but I’ll also dump any guy who asks me to Netflix and chill.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 05:00 AM
1

That’s fair to do but what fds encourages women to do is just as fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:56 AM
1

Wow so angry. Whether or not she’s all those things she says she is, why does it matter to you? She’s not into you and you’re not into her. It happens. Move on. Nobody loses here.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:49 AM
2

If it is so easy why aren’t men doing it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:46 AM
1

Is he risking rape and murder and assault and pregnancy and the same rate of STDs as the woman? No. So it’s not equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:45 AM
1

Out of all the things men are most offended about, it’s this. Really crazy to me. If you do not want to date women who expect you to pay, do not date them. Dump as soon as you find this out. You can even ask or say something before you agree to a date. Say you’d love to meet up with them but you expect to split the bill. Some women will bail but some will not. You want to eliminate the women who bail anyway. What is the problem here? Those women don’t want you and you don’t want them. Seems like…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:41 AM
1

Yup. It’s just a (mostly) lie men tell to women to get sex without any consequences.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:33 AM
2

You can make the choices you want. If you feel the risk is too high for the potential reward, don’t date and that’s fair. It’s just ridiculous how warped some men’s view of women is. Completely blind.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:30 AM
1

Wow shocking that women are also people and vary in their opinions. If you’re wondering why a certain woman left her man ASK HER asking another random woman isn’t going to give you the most accurate info. And asking a random man will give you even less accurate info.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:28 AM
1

I mean does it really suck that bad? I would rather be in charge of initiating the dating/romance than have to do the woman’s role (pregnancy/birth/childcare, taking care of the man for life).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:07 AM
1

Very unlikely tbh. I would focus on your skills on asking women out.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 04:04 AM
3

Lmao ok. My job is literally bossing around these same men you are blowing up. Why? Because I’m more skilled than they are. Honestly sounds like you feel threatened that women are starting to do better than men. We are now more educated. Millennial women without children now make more than their male equivalents in certain cities. It’s happening; instead of trying to put down women to push them back, get better so you can compete.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:56 AM
6

Yes this. Being pregnant and having a child is the most vulnerable situation (realistically) for a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:54 AM
2

Would you rather be dependent on someone you’re sure is good but have no guarantee Or have the skills and resume to make your own? And then you can choose to be with someone instead of being obligated to stay with someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:52 AM

Studies show that generally single women are the happiest, followed by divorced and never remarried. Studies show divorced never remarried men are the most unhappy group, followed by single men. Not surprising.

Women even in the us frequently sacrifice their careers to be more present at home. Doesn’t mean they stop working but they’ll take less prestigious less demanding jobs so their husbands can.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:43 AM
2

If people here actually did that, we wouldn’t have the attitude in here like we do. On Reddit apparently only chads get women, 99% of men never get sex or get a partner and 99% of women are in polyamorous relationships because they’re all sharing chad. If any of these men stepped outside and actually socialized and became a member of society, they would see the vast majority of people over the age of 25 are coupled up and normal looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:42 AM
1

Yup. If these incels went to a public place with people from most walks of life (airport, post office, grocery store, etc.) they would see lots of couples where both people are not attractive or ones where the man is less attractive than the woman or vice versa. They will find anyway to come up with these “facts” except actually going outside and looking at people
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:38 AM
2

Yeah being picky makes either sex more desirable. Because nobody wants to be with someone who has no standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:31 AM
0

That’s one incident. Studies show consistently over the entire tech industry women are constantly mistreated and undermined and need to work much harder than their male counterparts.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:21 AM
1

Women are already trained to be constantly improving themselves. To the point where it’s too much and has negative effects.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:18 AM
1

Agreed
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:17 AM
2

Look at that sub truerateme. They literally are delusional about how they look. Beautiful women (not necessarily models but obviously very attractive) get rated a 5 while some below average looking guy gets a 6.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:14 AM
3

Yeah seriously. If I could have sex like a man I would be trying to get laid every night. But I’m a woman so I’m generally uninterested in sex with the vast majority of men because it’s mostly risk with little chance for reward. Wait that does explain a lot of male behavior ...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:12 AM
6

They were faking or you are a statistical outlier. The vast majority of women can’t reach orgasm ever with just penetration.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:09 AM
2

Well studies show men don’t go down on women as the other way around. So there you go.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:06 AM
4

Men: no risk at all Women: infinitely more risk at getting pregnant Yes we have BC but at the end of the day we still carry the risk, not the man. On top of that, women are more prone to STDs, more likely to be assaulted or raped, more likely to be murdered, more likely to have her reputation ruined, etc. Many more risks for women than men in sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:04 AM
12

You have severely overestimated the sex skills of the average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:03 AM
8

You are seriously lacking in empathy for someone who claims men have feelings and empathy. The vast majority of women get sexually harassed by men before they’re 14 - you think most men out there can be easily stopped during sex? They can’t even keep their comments to themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 03:01 AM
2

6-10x more often, depending on which studies you look at.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:54 AM
1

According to Reddit, women are always trying to use men for their resources, so this makes no sense. Also apparently women want to settle down with a beta after the cock carousel, so again, makes no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:51 AM
1

Lol men come up with all kinds of reasons to explain female behavior except actually listen to what women are saying. Amazing. The mental gymnastics are A+
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:48 AM
1

That makes it worse. If a guy is competent in most parts of his life but acts incompetent with me so I have to pick up the slack, I’m much more likely to leave him than if he was incompetent all around.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:47 AM
1

Yeah on top of that studies show men are 6-10x more likely to leave their wife if she’s sick. Female hypergamy my ass
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:44 AM
2

Yeah because at the end of the day these are my choices, according to Reddit Pump and dump by chad, no commitment and no orgasm Date a “beta,” no commitment and no orgasm and he’s hard to look at in bed Be single and masturbate - add orgasm, no change in life otherwise You can see why many women are not all that interested in men today.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:42 AM
1

Still makes no sense mathematically. If these women are being tricked it won’t last very long and they’re both back on the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:39 AM
2

Yeah and men are much more likely to remarry quickly after a divorce. That says to me it’s more likely women are finding their man cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:36 AM
1

It’s interesting how it’s never applied to men. That dumb okcupid study men on Reddit are always quoting showed that men consistently went for the most attractive women, even if they weren’t in her league. Why isn’t that ever brought up?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:36 AM
2

Do you seriously believe only men sacrifice for marriage? Lol Look at facts. Women take care of their partners aka man babies. Take care of them when they get sick, do most of the housework, sacrifice their careers so men can pursue better ones, do most of the child care, sacrifice their bodies, etc. Plenty of studies for all those things. Exactly what investment and resources are you referring to in terms of male sacrifice for marriage? Money? Lol women now make up the majority of the workforce…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:32 AM

It’s really funny to me how hatred blinds men so badly. I am a full on man hater. I still understand there are women out there who are gold diggers, cheaters, etc that men need to watch out for. Can men literally not see all the men who got successful and dumped their loyal wife for a newer model? Men who dump their long term wives after she gets sick (statistically men are 6-10x more likely)? It’s like men’s hatred of women is so strong they choose to ignore facts and statistics and real life a…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:27 AM

Agree with this. Women get tired of their partner. They don’t want to add more hassle and obligation to their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:23 AM
1

No, the opposite of love isn’t hate. It’s indifference. Men already generally hate women for the most part; pretty obvious to see it makes them even more obsessed with women than less.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 02:16 AM
4

This sounds more like projection. Studies show men do this more often than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/20 12:03 AM
2

Yup same
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/20 11:59 PM

I said some. Clearly you put yourself in that category. I didn’t have to.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/20 09:09 PM

Women don’t murder men over rejection. Men (even if few) murder women over rejection. Idk what further proof you need.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 10:50 AM
1

Men still do it today...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 07:09 AM
2

Yes and this is 95% of men. Idk what the problem is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 06:19 AM
1

women still do far more housework even if you count lawn mowing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 06:03 AM
2

Oh no random man on the internet finds me undesirable. Lol you’re too easy and it’s so boring and predictable. A better insult would be to tell me my cats don’t like me. Better luck next time.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 06:01 AM
1

Those stats were to show that men on average are not reliable sources of emotional support for straight women. They don’t stay by her side during hard times and don’t help at home.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:44 AM
2

Lol I like how this is your best insult. You are scarily insecure about no women liking you and homophobic. Good luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:42 AM
1

So should men give birth too? And do all the housework and child rearing? Women do it, no reason a man can’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:32 AM
1

Lol women take rejection badly? Men literally start wars and kill women over rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:25 AM
1

Yeah and how do you think men are doing the higher paying and more demanding jobs? Who is picking up all the slack at home and with the childcare so the man can succeed? Men frequently discount women’s work as nothing and worthless.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:15 AM
2

It’s not a man’s choice too? Lol there goes financial abortions!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 05:11 AM
0

Yeah but the same could be said about men. All things the same, most women are going to choose the man closer to their age, not the old guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:42 AM
1

So you’re advocating manipulating and lying to women. Grate.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:38 AM
1

Yeah but women’s feelings don’t count right? Men seem to gloss over the fact that most men everyday are trying to trick women into sex and they don’t see it as a big deal. But ask a man to pay for a first date, all hell breaks loose. I guess it’s only ok when the woman gets hurt.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:36 AM
1

A guys prime is only 30-35 if he was socially awkward or unsuccessful financially in his 20s and now is socially charming and financially successful in his 30s. If he just went along the normal path as everyone else, he doesn’t become more attractive in his 30s. Most men start balding in their late 20s/early 30s. That being said, nobody can answer this and it’ll depend on personal preference and goals.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:34 AM
1

Yes finally something reasonable. We all get ugly with age. The difference is men are not as harshly judged by society for their looks as women are. Women I would say on average have it a little harder but it’s not like men become more attractive with age. The men who are doing better in their 30s and 40s are doing better despite their age, not because of their age. But FYI studies are now showing men don’t have unlimited time as once thought. Sperm from men over 40 is seen as geriatric and is l…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:23 AM

The average older man isn’t Leonardo DiCaprio. Most 40+ men aren’t rich with an impressive career and in a setting where they meet models all the time. This is like me assuming I’ll be like Angelina Jolie when I’m 40.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:19 AM
1

That’s not a woman thing though. People in general age and look worse in their 40s. I might even argue men look worse on average than women because they bald and get beer bellies and don’t do skincare.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:18 AM
1

No they won’t. Because there will always be 18 year old men. 18 year old women are going to pick an 18 year old men over a 40 year old men 99 % of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:14 AM
1

Yeah and the fact you can’t come up with a real argument is telling I should have known you were some teenager
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:12 AM
2

I agree. Most would bail. So that’s really the woman’s problem, isn’t it? There is zero reason for a man to be mad about this. He is only interested in sex. He dumps her after 2-4 dates because he isn’t getting easy sex. I feel a little bad for the woman wasting her time, but meh. It’s only a few dates. He is interested in only sex. She doesn’t give in but he still keeps trying. He gets upset. If sex only was that important to him, he should have been upfront. Oh wait, but that would mean she, i…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:09 AM
2

Yeah and did you think it’s impossible for men to be sexist towards women in a male dominated field? Interesting how you jump to “women are just not as interested.” Did you ever think why? This is how I can tell you have little critical thinking skills. You assumed women weren’t as interested and stopped there. So you have no answer to why but when I give you a very real why (you can google studies yourself, they’re everywhere) you deny it but offer no other reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:02 AM
1

I misunderstood. I thought you were a man and being serious about things being so unfair for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:59 AM
3

Yeah those are not women waiting it out. When I say wait it out, I mean 10+ dates. Waiting it out means waiting until you get to know him well enough to see what kind of guy he is. Anyone can put up a front for 2-3 or even 10 dates. It doesn’t provide a guarantee, but eliminating men who don’t pay for dates over a period of time will make it expensive for the man if he’s only looking for sex. That’s why it helps women who only want a serious relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:57 AM
1

That’s fair. Nobody’s saying you gotta wait it out for the woman. I wouldn’t say you’re playing games by doing that either. You can just dump and move on if she isn’t putting out to your liking. Kinda crazy how offended men get when women want to wait for sex. If you aren’t into that, nobody’s making you wait for that woman. And there’s plenty of women who won’t wait. But just as unwilling as you are about giving commitment (because you value it), women are also allowed to be unwilling. If it is…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:55 AM
1

Yeah because if you were rich you wouldn’t be complaining. You think rich men care if they spend $5 on a woman’s coffee for a first date? Or even $30 on a dinner first date? I don’t give a shit about buying my friends meals when we go out and that’s for friends. Because most meals are under $50 and $50 is not much to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:52 AM
3

LOL yeah I’ve seen a lot of similar attitude with stem and women. Why aren’t more women in stem? They just aren’t as interested or ambitious or intellectually capable of men. Despite all the studies showing women are mistreated to the point of leaving the field entirely.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:51 AM
2

Yup those are included. They are housework after all. FYI dishes and cleaning and laundry and cooking and meal planning and taking care of kids is hours everyday. Mowing the lawn isn’t comparable. Are you trying to say because another man you don’t even know invented a vacuum, women are now forever obligated to do most of the most of the work? Oh cool, hey men of the world, your work is already done for you!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 03:44 AM

So now she’s obligated to have sex with anyone who wants it? Since most men were friend zoned in their youth at some point, should they be obligated to always be just a friend and never a romantic partner?

The worst part is it’s not just TRP. I’ve seen many men in many other subreddits spew similar shit to this. If a woman did anal before and doesn’t do it with you it means she doesn’t love you Is a common one

Don’t try to make sense of it. It’s exactly what you think it is - men just being misogynist and projecting their own shit onto women.

Anything to rationalize being rejected by a woman sexually or romantically. Men place almost their entire ego and self worth on how female sexual validation. That’s why they’re so weird about sex.

Men don’t get more options when they age. Women and men both peak but their average peak ages are different. Men consider women to be the best at 22 (I won’t get into how messed up this is) according to okcupid. I will be generous towards my attitude of men and say the peak average age for a woman is mid 20s. For men, they seem to have the most options or are considered the most attractive by women in their late 20s. Unless you’re balding. Women are not drooling over 40 year old men lol. And bef…

Just more parroted bs I see on Reddit about women not being into stem. There are plenty of studies showing that girl at young ages are just as interested in stem as boys of the same age, but it changes as women get mistreated in school and work. I’m sure there are women who don’t want to go into stem because it’s not feminine or whatever. But there is a huge portion of women who do not go into it because of the treatment they receive. One incident at one major company doesn’t erase decades of mi…

Yeah it’s actually the opposite for most women irl. Many women don’t want to feel like they “owe” the guy so if they don’t want to see him again, it’s in their best interest to pay their share if they follow that belief.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:53 AM
3

This is exactly why I want men to pay for dates (at least in the beginning). I actually make more than most guys I know, so it isn’t about not spending money. I know many men are hoping to use me and trick me, and I am not skilled enough to tell just by looking and talking to them for a few dates. Eliminating men who put in little to no effort and time helps save me a lot of hassle. Also I generally offer to pay for my portion on a first online date if I already know I never wanna see or talk to…

Yes but unless you’re very well off, you’re not going to be able to keep up the facade for very long if you are only after sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:49 AM

Because it happens often enough where it’s a thing to be worried about. I don’t think most men irl actually do this tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:47 AM

No because don’t go on dates you can’t afford? I don’t go out to dinner if I don’t have enough money for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:40 AM

Because men have forced women to give up their rights for the majority of history.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:39 AM

Yeah and a way to avoid these men is to refuse cheap dates like coffee and dump men who don’t pay. Because men won’t say so openly so we can only go by their actions.

She’s mad because women out there literally being beat and murdered regularly for just refusing to go on a date. You’d be mad too if someone of the perpetrators kind was trying to minimize the rape and murder of your kind.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:37 AM

Oh so the same one incident repeated in many different links? Instead of doing research on the same incident over and over, why don’t you spend that time researching the gender dynamics of the tech industry in general?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:22 AM

It’s true. If I were to date again, I would hold out super long for sex and never let the guy know when he’s gonna get it. It’s the only reliable way for me to tell (at least in the beginning) if he’s only after sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:21 AM

Wow so your anecdotal data is more reliable than actual studies and statistics? Ok then.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 02:19 AM

Except women provide this better for men than men do for women. Men are 6-10x more likely to leave their wives if the wife gets sick. Men also overwhelmingly still expect their wives to do almost all the emotional burden in a marriage and family.

Yes. It’s always the guys making like $200k who think every woman is a gold digger. Makes me roll my eyes so hard they’re gonna fall to the floor. $200k is a respectable salary (I’m in a high col city) but gold diggers understand the most that nothing is free. If you’re going to put in that work, you’re going to dig for real. The best is when men accuse women of being gold diggers because they expect to be treated to a coffee on the first date. Then these men should get off tinder? This makes no sense Man goes on tinder, puts in no effort because apparently the chance of getting laid is so small anyway, surprised pikachu face, women aren’t interested. Either don’t use tinder at all or put a decent effort THEN get frustrated if it doesn’t work. I cannot feel sorry for someone who put in little to no effort and didn’t get any results.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:57 AM
2

I agree with your post so much. Men are man because they were expecting free casual sex with no effort. I’m also confused as to why they are confused at the results of that. I keep seeing so many versions of “men don’t try because it’s women’s fault” in this thread alone. Like no shit. If you don’t try... why would a woman want to be with you? For sex or for more.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:54 AM

This is all true and why men are so damn entitled.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:49 AM

Agreed. I’ve had several people tell me this when they moved to sf from other large cities. “Some of the ugliest people I’ve ever seen in my life” was a direct quote.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:46 AM
3

I agree with all of this. But don’t feel like you need to be PERFECT to date women. If you put in even an hour in total of effort into your profile, you’ll already be so far ahead of most men online.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:42 AM
2

Because they think why not? Worst case they get no sex (which is what they have now) or they put in two seconds of effort (which is very apparent from their profiles and messages) and delude themselves into thinking they’ll get free sex delivery. There is literally nothing to lose. Women have a lot to lose and not much to gain with dating the same way so we don’t do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:40 AM
3

But they are still on dating apps and still trying to get sex? They’re just putting in shit effort and making it worse for both the women and men who actually want to put in real effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:32 AM

What people hope for isn’t the same as what actually happens. In today’s courting, the majority of dates are not fancy restaurants. The majority is dudes trying to Netflix and chill or get you drunk.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:31 AM

No you didn’t. You called out single moms as not taking responsibility when they’re the ones actually raising the child. The deadbeat dads are the ones not taking responsibility.

Lol same. I’m a straight woman and I’d love to have a wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:26 AM

Yup. Reddit is actually a huge part in opening my eyes to how men really think. The reason women are stuck in today’s mess is because men consistently see anything women do or produce as nothing and take it for granted. No wonder women aren’t interested in men today.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:24 AM
1

Look up studies instead of making stuff up.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:22 AM
3

Except there are studies that show women make up most of today’s workforce, still spend hours more per week than men on housework and child care, and are still mostly solely responsible for the emotional load associated. Yes women tend to do worse off financially after divorce. But they also rated themselves as happier on average than married women. Money isn’t the only thing that contributes to happiness.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:22 AM
2

I really relate to that second paragraph. I’ve always thought men didn’t add much value to my life if I’m involved with them romantically, or at least nothing really quantifiable. But I still enjoyed dating them because I thought of them as a light hearted group with similar intentions as women but a different style. The internet has allowed me to see that this isn’t true at all. Many men are straight up evil and violent towards all women. I cannot unsee.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:18 AM
1

Kind of ridiculous you call out single moms and not taking responsibility instead of the deadbeat dads...
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 01:16 AM

Agreed. I wouldn’t care much if a man couldn’t provide more for me financially as I already make a good amount of money. But if I don’t need their money, they need to have looks, good skills in bed, manage and do housework, be loyal/good companion, or have something else about them that will add value to my life.

This so hard. It’s kind of crazy how it’s so obvious to women why women aren’t interested in partnering with men, yet men keep claiming they have no idea. Women keep telling men yet they choose to ignore us. Idgi. Who wants to add another child, only he’s an adult, to their lives? In the past, women were forced to be with men because they weren’t allowed to make money, own property, or even have a credit card. Men provided financial resources to women. Now women are allowed those things. If men …

1

Lol what? Men do not do these things for women today they’re courting. Maybe a few in serious relationships. The majority of dating proposals from single men rn is Netflix and chill. Come on.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 12:59 AM

Agreed. I am responding because I see a lot of men in here trying to deny our experiences. Know you aren’t alone and that no matter what men deny, there will always be a woman to back you up.

Agreed. Men have every right to be concerned about gold diggers... but that’s generally as far as it goes. One time my male friend told me “men are scared they’re going to get fat fished, women are scared of murder” when talking about OLD. Women have a lot more to be scared of with men than the other way around.

Yeah same. I actually used to love men and be active in dating and enjoyed it. I have seen a lot of male depravity in my personal life and it was more extreme than anything I ever saw from a woman, but it was from such a small portion of the male community, I wrote it off as an exception. Reddit opened my eyes to how the average man can be. Men I see everyday that I didn’t suspect of having such sick twisted thoughts. Men not even considering women as people. It is impossible to write off as an …

That okc study men like to parrot incorrectly showed this. That men generally had a much narrower version of what was attractive than women. The diff was although men mostly aimed for the top women, they still went for the women they didn’t want too. Women made way less attempts than men in general but went for more average men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 12:34 AM
12

Same. If I like a guy and I feel he is a good partner I will cook for him and help him with his job and etc. Anal is off the table no matter how much I love you. I feel the OP of this post is projecting. Women do not translate sex acts directly into acts of love like men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 12:30 AM

Tbf there was a study that came out that said most men overestimate themselves in looks and a variety of other things. Women didn’t do this as much.

If you don’t put effort then don’t expect to see results? I don’t find I get anything good out of dating men - so I just don’t date. The problem is the men still go online and spread their bitterness around. If you aren’t expecting to get anything, then why try?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 12:17 AM

The reason why most people don’t tell the truth is because they won’t get what they want. See men who lie or manipulate women to get laid. If they said they only wanted a hook up... very few women would go with it.

It’s fine to be unattractive. I know and associate with many unattractive men daily (most men are unattractive) and I have no issues with it. It’s a societal problem that most of these ugly men think they’re entitled to a supermodel and get violent about it. It’s just one of the many toxic things that contribute to why society holds women to almost impossible standards yet tell men they are everything even when they’re trash.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/01/20 02:59 AM
6

I agree with this. Women need to drop men at the first sign of trash without any explanation or negotiation. Then maybe men will be in shock a little and think about what they’ve done so they can get someone next time. Or they won’t think and no woman will ever get with them. Either way it works out well.

When a woman shoots too high, it’s just her shooting too high. There is no societal norm that agrees with her. When men do it... well it’s very different. It’s the norm and pushed onto them by society. It’s why there are so many lvm to begin with.

Money and status is cool and will make you more attractive but none of that erases age. Most young women are put off by a middle aged man even with those things. Agreed. 90% of the time when a man cries in front of a woman, he’s trying to manipulate her. Usually because he tried to rape or similar and now wants comforting. Men are the ultimate victims. Pretty crazy how when they do something fucked up, and get called out, they need comforting. They are straight up delusional and do not think for a second you have intimacy or closeness with a man because he’s using his tears to manipulate you.

The problem is men lie all day. It’s easy to avoid the obvious misogynists. The worst ones are the kinds who pretend they have no issue then later bring it up. Because trust me, as soon as he’s upset, he will eventually. They all do.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/20 04:14 AM

Yup this. Dump this abusive guy ASAP. Focus on that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/20 04:13 AM

Body count is one thing but who cares. That’s not how someone is defined. Sex is risky for women because more prone to STDs, can get pregnant, more likely to be assaulted or murdered, more likely to be abused physically or mentally, more likely to be forced or manipulated, reputation at risk, etc. And these risks are true with any man you have sex with. Remember casual sex has all those risks and the reward is... sex. With a serious relationship the reward is the relationship and sex. Keep that …

Lmao the audacity it astounding

I’m 99% sure he is porn sick judging from the OP and the responses. Too young, no real health problems, no medications, porn jokes, claims he never watches porn, takes forever to come, can’t get that hard, etc. It’s a long list.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/01/20 03:36 AM
8

I hope the men into sex dolls and prostitutes get into those and leave real women alone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/01/20 03:18 AM
23

Same. The worst porn addicts I dated didn’t push for sex because... they got it through porn. To answer OP I would bring up porn in a natural setting (you’ll have to wait for the opportunity) and do so in a neutral way. Then wait for him to blab on about it. The key is to do it naturally and without negativity so they feel free to comment as they want to. The last thing you want is them lying to you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/01/20 03:16 AM
57

Why do they care so much? If you don’t wanna wait, move onto the next girl. Nobody is forcing you to date women who want to wait.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/20 04:05 PM

Lmao men are so damn entitled. Give them a little money and they go insane.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/20 03:30 AM

Both are toxic for you. Dump them out of your life. Block both on social media and phone. If you see them irl, act polite but cold and engage as little as you can. Don’t respond to him. He did something while drunk I’m guessing and hasn’t even tried to contact you about it. You care about this way more than he does. He isn’t your friend and he doesn’t care. Sorry this is harsh but you need to move on from him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 10:05 AM

Yeah so why are you angry at her instead of him?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 09:27 AM

I wouldn’t necessarily only be open to dating men who make the same as you or more. But I do think you need to be wary of men who will use you for money.

Similar to how most people with great careers tend to be older because they’ve had more time to develop them. That being said there are tons of older people with shit careers and are even worse off than their younger counterparts.

Bring up porn in a neutral or open way and let him talk. Based on what he says, you can tell.

Yes. He needs to provide for his family. If he is unable to he shouldn’t have a family.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 08:33 PM

Yes. As long as he is financially responsible and able to provide for himself and his family. Lots of rich men out there who are crap. Also the vast majority of men aren’t rich - highly doubt all of them are crap.

Lmaooooo amazing
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 07:53 PM

Same. I would pursue men actively if that’s what they offered women. But they generally don’t.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 07:51 PM

Yup. Just bring it up in a neutral or unserious way and let him talk. He’ll spill the beans if you don’t come off as judgmental.

Man wasn’t funny but lmao that woman’s response is hilarious.

This is fucking gross and pathetic.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 07:30 AM

Yup. Those analogies are spot on. And men are already delusional about how interested women are in them. He will blow it up as big as he can in his mind and to others in her friend group.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 04:24 AM
95

That is physical abuse. It will escalate 100% sure. Leave when it’s safe for you. Sooner is better because you want to leave before he escalates. He is trying to gaslight and manipulate you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 04:18 AM
6

You can’t hurt someone that doesn’t care about you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 04:07 AM
11

Yeah I visibly cringed when I read the OP. Don’t do this. Men think we wanna fuck them badly if we just look in their general direction at something else. He will def twist this letter and you returning the clothes into something.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 04:06 AM
87

No you acted appropriately. One time a guy was over 30 mins late to our first date. I told him forget it, no longer interested. He was so upset about ruining his chance. A few days later he delivered roses to my work and called me to ask me on a real first date to a fancy restaurant (cost about $200 per person without wine). If a man messes up and actually cares, he will figure out a way to make it up. 99% of men will never do this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 03:59 AM
7

Yup this. Do what you want but understand that it will only make him laugh at you behind your back.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 03:55 AM
11

Uh no it would look pathetic at worst and he won’t care at best. Ignore him. Don’t give him the clothes or letter.

Yeah completely irrelevant
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 03:06 AM

I have never seen a post here even mentioning gay men, and I’m here daily. Sounds fake.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/01/20 11:37 PM

Yup. Women gets physically and sexually abused: should have picked better. Men willingly gives money to woman because he is thirsty as fuck: women are all evil
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/01/20 07:12 PM
26

Respects your boundaries. When you say or show you’re uncomfortable they don’t keep pushing or trying to trick and manipulate. They apologize sincerely when needed. Not that bs apology most men give which pushes the blame to the woman.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/01/20 03:46 AM
23

Sounds like he’s back peddling. I wouldn’t go. This is why you don’t tell men what you’re looking for. They’ll pretend just for sex. It’s better to let them blab unprompted and you eliminate men from there.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/01/20 12:44 AM
21

Lol so men wanna “pay” for dates but not use their own money? Gtfo. If you want the pride of paying you need to pay.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 11:13 PM
20

Yup. An easy transition to a date is... asking for a date.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 11:10 PM

You need to block him and men like that. Period.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 11:09 PM

If a man over the age of 18 asks this, dump. He’s only looking to judge you.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 05:08 PM
48

Holy shit that is scary. Men are a terrible species. “But women are bad too” lol yes women do this kinda thing...
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 05:16 AM
39

This frustrates me so much. I come prepared to pay my half. And I willingly do so without complaint if the man doesn’t offer. I understand that I’m not “owed” dinner just like the man isn’t “owed” sex. But that doesn’t mean I wanna see him again. Why are men so mad about this? Fine if you don’t wanna pay. No issue with that. No need for him to be upset either. We just aren’t compatible.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 01:04 AM
14

The double standard is so real. I understand a lot of people don’t want to date parents and there’s nothing wrong with that. I also get it makes the dating pool smaller, which can be a challenge. If you’re in this situation the best thing you can do is be a good parent. There will always be people who will never date you because of that but there will be many who will.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/20 09:15 PM
31

Yeah maybe be a good dad? That would make him high value. But nooooo anything but taking responsibility.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/20 09:05 PM

LOL
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/20 09:28 AM
22

It is societal. Women tend to internalize this kinda thing and blame themselves. Men tend to externalize and blame others. Not really surprising men would complain that women’s standards are too high instead of working on themselves. While women freely read magazines to get better with men, self help books, discuss with their friends, go to therapy, etc. I rarely hear about men doing those things without being forced by their partner.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/01/20 10:45 PM
61

Some men have told me when they were broke or didn’t have their shit together, they didn’t date. They felt too embarrassed and figured they wouldn’t be able to land anyone good anyway. Spent that time improving their lives instead. Doesn’t mean they don’t date their entire lives. All of them have great dating lives because they choose to date when they feel ready to. They aren’t desperate or thirsty because they were able to prioritize self improvement when needed, even if that meant no sex or d…

Think about it. You’ve been on two dates and he has to “deal” with not having sex? Say it aloud. It sounds fucking ridiculous. If a friend told you this, what would you think? It’s not a big deal he asked for sex, as long as he was polite about it. But how he reacted after you said no is a sign that he cares more about having sex with you than being interested in you as a person. It’s fine to want sex, but if he liked you as a person he wants to date, then he wouldn’t react this way. Someone who…

The kind of man who would actually do this is a creep. I am not offended if a man approaches me politely, even if I’m not interested. I will be polite back. But a man trying to manipulate you and trick you into sex is a creep and doesn’t deserve politeness.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/20 07:14 AM

If I had one piece of advice for someone your age... Ignore men. Ignore what fake ass compliments they give. Ignore the insults and anger when they lash out because you’re not serving them. Ignore if they’re interested in you or not. Ignore their opinions and words. Ignore them. Spend all your interest and energy into yourself.

Maybe this is your perspective. But I’ve been single, no dating at all, for a while now. I do wish for a bf sometimes. The worst is going to all the parties (weddings, holiday parties, etc.) alone. But I would say 90% of the time I am very happy to be single. For example, I am surprised I find traveling alone fun. I find it fun with a partner as well. I also love having all this extra time and energy to be into myself! I know it sounds childish and selfish but it’s truly enjoyable. I would sayin…

Dump him. If he felt like you weren’t reaching out enough, he should have said so instead of “testing” you. You reached out to him when you were dissatisfied, why can’t he do the same? Sounds like he’s back peddling or playing games. Both bad. The fact he wants to take a break and pick up means he thinks you’ll wait for him. That is what the definition of back burner is. It doesn’t work if the back burner girl doesn’t wait for you. Doesn’t really matter if there’s another woman involved, because…

Even if I think 98% of men are losers, I would never put this on OLD because I’m not stupid. If I am on OLD it means I want to go on dates, not piss strange men off. What does he think he’s gonna get, many women trying to prove him wrong? Why do men have no social skills?

Is there any point in getting married? Money? No, men don’t wanna pay. I’m fine with paying for myself but that means men don’t benefit me financially. Sex? We can get sex anytime from any number of men. Care? Women take care of men, not the other way around. All the emotional labor and child care and cleaning and cooking and organizing and planning ... Companionship and loyalty? This article says otherwise.

His actions are pretty cut and dry. I would also move on from him mentally. Seems like you’re still stuck on him. I understand it’s hard. But blocking him and distracting yourself with things you enjoy will help with time.

If you have no shared assets or kids and don’t live together and have similar financial situations and a healthy LTR, I don’t have any problem taking turns paying but up to you. I don’t do 50/50 during the courting phase.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/01/20 10:57 PM

Because the housework and pregnancy and birth and childcare always fall onto the woman. If you split finances 50/50 you’re actually losing.

I think a lot of these men are socially stupid and don’t go outside and interact with people. So they actually believe this shit.

You say no, it’s different because I’m a woman. If they still refuse, ghost and block. Any man worth anything would understand. Women literally getting raped and murdered from OLD while men getting fat women at worst. Not comparable at all.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/01/20 08:45 PM

When it comes to casual sex, most women are only looking for the hottest men tho. Which is like 5% of the male population. That’s why men feel the need to trick women. Because they think they deserve casual sex even when the woman doesn’t want it.

I agree with this. If you’re only interested in casual, then you need to say so before anything beyond a kiss in public happens. I don’t think negatively of people who are upfront about wanting casual, as long as they aren’t rude or entitled about it. If anything, that’s how it should be.

I’m not married and never have been. And I don’t have kids. So idk how helpful this will be: Walking away doesn’t have to mean literally or dumping them. It could mean removing yourself from the situation. Or not giving into pressures. For example, if you’re a mom working full time doing everything at home... stop doing it for your husband if he won’t put in 50/50. Do what is 50% and fair and let him fend for himself. I think the bottom line is... don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself and say…

IMO leveling up physically is one of the least important things. Most women already groom themselves since we’ve been pressured since childhood to look good. Setting boundaries is prob the most important thing. It means when someone mistreats you, doesn’t respect a boundary, tries to manipulate you or trick you into doing something bad for you, you’re ready and able to walk away. To say nope, I’m not ok with this and I will not put up with this and to actually follow through. We can’t make men d…

Wow same. I stopped going there regularly because it was too depressing. Every other post was about a 20 something woman dating a 35 year old man who is a loser. And then they get abused and are confused as to what’s going on. Women reading this in their 20s.... a man over 30 who is aiming for someone in their 20s is a predator. I have no issue with a 30 year old woman dating a 40 year old man. But it’s not the same as in your 20s.

Honestly I’m not super approachable either so I’m not the best to ask. But my friend is and I’ll tell you what I’ve noticed: She’s always smiling, laughing, etc. She always looks like she’s having fun in that moment. I’ve noticed when I go out to bars or clubs, groups of women who look bored or unimpressed don’t get approached. Everyone is different. But it isn’t the end of the world if you don’t find a man attractive after 1 or 2 dates. If it works better for you to explore it, then great. If your experience shows it’s a waste of time for you, then your strategy prob works better. For me personally, I am not really attracted to the man unless he’s ridiculously good looking (less than 1% of men) or I get to know his personality. But I know many women who say if they don’t feel a spark the first date, it means it’s neve…

Whoever said with a man? As in just one? Just because I’m not looking to settle down or have a partner doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun. I have some standards for men I go on dates for fun with, but they’re more for my safety vs. finding a great man. Men do this all the time. Hell, they even hate fuck women. All I wanna do is go on some dates with different people for fun and perspective. Why are you all up in my business about this?

I’m not interested in having a bf or partner or similar. Haven’t been for years. But I am interested in going on some dates, one day. I’m here because I like this women only space. I’ve also spent many years watching my female friends and peers get mistreated by men and it’s almost always the same shit over and over. No. I’ve found that men generally tend to attract what’s in their league. Women are generally not as delusional as men. Women are also penalized by society for “shooting our shot” more than men. But women attract... everyone. There is no rhyme or reason. The problem is the vast majority of men are trash. So every woman is gonna deal with a lot of trash. On top of that, the ones who don’t have social skills (aka some of the worst men out there) are more likely to be hitting on women than men who …

Lmao so true. Men of all ages are worthless.

Is this a random stranger on insta? Why is he so obsessed with you? Men are pathetic and gross.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 03:40 AM
44

Yup this. I never freaked out over one of my exes (who was drop dead gorgeous and many women drooled over him) talked to women because I trusted him. I had another ex who was average looking and I would get jealous way more easily. Turns out he was gaslighting me the entire time and even admitted it a year after we broke up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 03:39 AM

Yes this. You’re 20 and he’s 30. Lmao it’s obvious from 100 miles away he’s lucky that you’re allowing him to talk to you without calling him a huge creep.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 12:20 AM

Yes this. NOTHING good will come from this. Cut it off now before he has a chance to get really mad at you for not sleeping with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/01/20 12:19 AM
6

Run. This has red flags allover it. Even if you want a platonic relationship, they will continue to pressure you and try and manipulate you. Do not try to turn this into friendship. He will likely lash out at you if you do so explicitly. Do the slow fade. Stop hanging out with him because you’re too busy. Slowly respond less and less.

Tbh it has happened less than 5 times in my entire life where I was instantly attracted to a man. And I’m in my early 30s so I’ve been dating around for a while. Instantly meaning only after being exposed to him for a couple hours in total. Of the ones I got involved with, two of them were professional models, one was not a model but he def looked like one. Most women do not look around a room or the street and see many men they’re interested in having sex with or are attracted to, based on look…

Tbh most men are crap at every age for diff reasons LOL A lot of the time I think “the good ones are already taken” because it seems so bleak out there. But then I look at the men I know who are married and I’m like... never mind.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/01/20 02:24 AM
1

Hmmm that is borderline. But I have a feeling, given the other posts you made in this thread, you’re just trying to justify 30+ men hitting on teenagers. If you’re actually 26 and you hit on someone you think is 23 and they turn out to be 18, then that’s not your fault. You just back away at that point.

I’m not black but I’m a WOC as well (not darker skinned so I understand I have light skin privilege). I don’t have much advice except to continue screening like you would if you were a white woman. Yes, you will get more shit treatment from men purely due to your skin tone and race. Don’t let this drag you down - it’s about them being a sexist racist pos and not about you. Yes, you have a hurdle but it’s a hurdle you can’t change and you shouldn’t want to anyway. Your skin tone is a part of you …
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/01/20 01:40 AM
54

No. Stop this. Women, including white women, do have their difficulties due to sexism. But WOC, esp darker skinned WOC, have to deal with racism on top of this. The two combined can be pretty terrible.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/01/20 12:09 AM
35

Yeah I’m kinda thinking this too. If I got pregnant and was considering keeping it, it would really change the way I viewed my partner. I might decide he wouldn’t be a good enough father. If I did I would leave and abort.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/20 11:21 PM

Yup. Flirting is def a two way street but women should not be the main initiators of huge relationship milestones. There are exceptions but they’re rare.

The thing that bothers me about this is you don’t have to agree. Why are they so mad that other people wanna date this way? “I want men to pay for dates” is not some violent phrase. It doesn’t harm men. It doesn’t promote hurting them or manipulating them or abusing them. They also have every right to say no. I bring my own money on dates anyway. If the man doesn’t wanna pay, I’ll happily pay for myself and never see him again. Do I get mad at men that wanna have sex on a first date? No, unless …

Lol come on. If you’re 30 you can easily avoid hitting on 18 year olds simply by hitting on people close to your age. Don’t try to make it seem like there are tons of 18 year olds running around looking 30. I’m over 30 and I’ve managed to never be interested in someone close to 18.

Agreed. Porn has warped men’s minds so far that they have no idea what natural breasts, even young ones, look like. It’s gross and sick. From the porn I’ve seen, a good 90% of women’s boobs are fake. I’m sure I’m not seeing the ones that are good jobs. But I doubt men know this.

I don’t know why keeping your day job or making it part time would change my opinion. The reason I’m against sex work is because it chews women up and spits them back out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/20 03:24 AM
26

There was a post recently here asking about it. I’m against it. In theory, it should work but the cards are always stacked against women whenever it comes to sex work. Very few women can actually come out of it without being severely traumatized. On top of them, many of women who choose (not the ones manipulated or forced) to do sex work are not savvy enough to actually get back in money what they sacrifice. I don’t judge sex workers but I would never encourage a woman to go into this because it…

Lol I witnessed this happening a few days ago. One of my friend’s bf brought his friends to a party. They were pretty ugly but I don’t dislike people based on looks alone. We were talking about hot celebrities and one said he was really into scar jo before but now he might maybe consider but only if she came onto him. Because she wasn’t that great looking anymore. They feel all the same chemistry and etc that women do. They also have their own wants and dislikes. The difference is, their risk of being murdered, assaulted, raped, left in career/financial ruin, left with kids without support, etc. is so small compared to ours. Yes there are women out there who screw men over but they can only do so much damage thru emotional manipulation (but men do just as much emotional manipulation as women, as emotional manipulation is not a sex related thing) or gold d…

That is such a good way to weed out men. When appropriate (this is probably not first date material but if it comes up naturally why not?), ask a man to describe a good woman to you. If he describes anything like a slave, now you know to dump.

I’m sorry but reading this post made me cringe. Then cringe again. And then keep on cringing. Do not contact this guy. He has given you so many signs of I’m not into you without explicitly saying so. If you’ve improved yourself, then forget about him and find new men.

LOL this cracks me up. Men: we want casual sex. Women: ok. Has casual sex with men she finds attractive Men: wait no not like that. What did they think was gonna happen? Men are obsessed with how women look and sex. Did they think women wouldn’t do the same for casual sex?

If sex was the only thing a person wanted... a reasonable person would move onto the next person, not cry and complain this one specific person wants to wait. Jesus men are entitled. Not only do the expect women to give them sex on their terms, but want every specific women to agree. Just move on if a woman isn’t interested in sex with you if you only want sex. Lots of women out there only interested in sex too.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 03:28 PM

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 06:21 AM

No. Why would you send mixed signals like that? It isn’t fair that men interpret coming over as sex. Because they shouldn’t. But the fact is they do. Also it’s been 3 weeks. Why do you need to have a serious talk? This is the screening stage. Use your actions not your words. Decline politely and say you want to go out.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 06:18 AM
18

Pretty clear he’s expecting sex at this point. If you’re not interested in having sex, decline any offers to go to his house. If he keeps trying, dump.

If you’re interested in a man at the gym, give him an opportunity to talk to you. When you make eye contact, smile. Keep doing this over time (doesn’t have to be all in the same gym visit, could go on for weeks). Eventually he’ll approach you.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 01:22 AM
25

I think it goes beyond that. If it was just about “wasting money,” men would say no thanks, and move on. That’s their prerogative. I’m not interested in those men and they’re not interested in me either. I’m not mad. So why are men so mad? They see it as a blow to their ego and they also feel insulted. Like how dare women ask them for something in return. We should be always freely giving to men and serving them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 01:21 AM
15

Yup. The kind of guy who invites you to a first date near his house to any normal restaurant or bar is guaranteed to be even less effort the next date.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/01/20 01:07 AM
4

Depends. If we haven’t had sex or determined exclusivity or we’ve been seeing each other for a while (more than a couple months), then I think ghosting is shitty. UNLESS he is abusive and your safety is at risk. If it’s a first date or second date or similar, you don’t have much of a relationship anyway, I say bye and block. So they know I’m no longer interested but I don’t bother explaining why. There’s no point and men will use it to lash out at you.

IME when men ask to meet for drinks near them for a first date... they are not gonna put in the effort. If it was a special restaurant or bar or event that would be different. I’m assuming this is an online first date. Usually guy wants to do drinks to lower inhibitions and because cheap, then can easily go to his place for sex. You should be paying 50% or less, depending on your relationship. If I am a 25 year old women without dependents living with a 25 year old man without dependents, we both have careers of similar pay, we are renting an apartment we picked out together, we do our own chores and housework and cooking, 50% seems fair to me. If you are married with kids, you shouldn’t be paying anywhere close to 50%, even if you work. I would argue in some cases the woman should pay 0. We all know a woman’s sacrifice…

I classify men as the following: Rapists and assaulters. I don’t think this needs much explaining. If you’ve sexually assaulted someone or tried to but someone stopped you, you are in this category. Your friends ex is one. I’d like to believe there aren’t many men in this category but... the internet is an eye opener. Not a rapist but still trash. These men don’t rape or assault people and think rape is bad but don’t really understand consent. But they don’t stand up against it either. They have…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/01/20 05:02 PM

Aka when a guy asks you what kind of date you want, you say dinner or X activity, you don’t throw out sex when he hasn’t said anything sexual yet. If he turns the convo sexual (which many men do), you say no thanks and block. There should never be a time where you agree to a date and you say no sex tho. Actions speak louder than words. Yeah the answers really freaked me out and I had to stop reading. The amount of mental gymnastics these men do to justify themselves for rape and/or sexual assault. If I came onto a man and he had any sign of hesitation I would instantly stop and back off. I wouldn’t even be interested in sex anymore. And yes, this has happened to me in relationships. Sometimes your partner doesn’t want sex and that’s ok. It’s fucking scary these men have no empathy whatsoever.

I agree with this. What do you gain from “using” a man in this way? Some free dinners and companionship? Friends are better companionship. Free dinner is a consolation prize after a bad date. You waste your own time and resources doing this. And you don’t leave any room for someone worthy to come into your life. FDS should be about avoiding and eliminating toxic men from your life. And letting in good ones, only if you choose to. Maybe I am boring, but using men seems exhausting. Dealing with me…

This is such bullshit. Even the hottest people have fights and marital problems, just like anyone else. If I had a chance at a ons with my favorite celebrity, sure I don’t care about chores. But that would be true for any ons. I don’t expect a ons to do chores. But if I’m living with a man, it doesn’t matter what he looks like, he needs to be doing 50% of the housework and chores. A man doing chores itself isn’t some sexual turn on but a man not pulling his weight is a HUGE turn off. You can be …

This is going to sound very simple but I promise you it’s very difficult and will require work: You need to shift the focus on getting your valuation from men and what they think of you. I wouldn’t purposely lie or hide it but I wouldn’t volunteer that info or give details. If you’re using online dating then it’s automatically assumed you’re seeing others. If it comes up, I would leave it as “we aren’t exclusive” and that’s it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/12/19 08:00 PM

Yup this. If he wanted to marry you, even if it isn’t today, he wouldn’t be feeling guilty.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/19 05:48 PM

If he was interested in revisiting this topic after he graduates in 7 months, he would have said so. He literally said 3-4 years and said “someone” which means he doesn’t think of you as marriage material. Dump him if you ever wanna get married.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/19 05:46 PM

Yes this so much. I’ve seen it with my friends. This is the diff between the women who find great happiness either in being single or with someone and those in crappy relationships.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/19 05:35 PM

No. This is fair to no one. I am for seeing if chemistry develops with time, but I’m talking weeks, not years. If you’ve known him for years and you’re still not interested, don’t bother.

Lol this bish is 24 and hasn’t done shit with her life yet. She has so much to learn. I read some of her responses and she seems very naive and ignorant and unable to think outside of black and white or simple ideas. There’s a good chance life will hit her in the face and she’ll grow some empathy. I hope.

I too would be fine with a man staying at home (if we have kids) in theory. But with all the research and what I see... it’s never equal. Women still get the short end of the stick unless you’ve married an exceptionally rare type of man.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/19 02:07 AM

Yup. Men will complain that women’s standards are too high but I would rather be alone than lower my standards. Men seem to straight up MAD that a lot of women would rather be alone than accept crap. If they’re so mad.... then be better? If I can’t get a man who meets my standards then oh well. I’m not mad. I have no problem with men who have high, even unrealistic standards, as long as they know the other option is being alone. Just don’t take it out on the women you want but can’t get. If wome…

Having a cat has never affected my dating life. And I have never seen it affect friends’ dating lives. The only way I could see this affecting things is if the man is allergic. Oh well. Enjoy your new cat! Don’t ever not live the life you want for a man, but a hypothetical one at that.

Letting it go like that won’t go well. If you decide to give him another chance (honestly I wouldn’t given what you typed), you need to tell him explicitly what he did is not ok and you will leave if he does it again. And you have to see what his response is. If he brushes it off or tries to fight you on it... well then you know your answer.

I would assume you two are not going on dates or doing much more than hooking up. I would still expect to be treated with respect as a human, but I wouldn’t expect to be courted. Signs of respect for fwb: Doesn’t expect sex on demand or gets upset if you’re not available. Think of it like an acquaintance or friend you want to meet up for lunch with - you pay for yourself, but you still need to reach out politely to the friend, make sure it works with both of your schedules, and not constantly fl…

Same except I love expensive food, lol. But for a date, I care about effort. I’ve been on some very cheap, almost “free” dates where I could tell the guy did a lot of research and thinking and planning. Those dates also had to consider what I like and would have fun doing. Those dates are more impressive to me than taking me to the local fancy restaurant for dinner. In my opinion, the reason FDS says no cheap dates is because it can be hard to describe what a date with effort is. Money is an eas…

Yup this. Go anywhere else on Reddit and tons of men blame their adhd for being a shitty partner. And they never improve obviously. There are people with adhd or autism or whatever it is and they don’t blame it for their faults or shortcomings. They work with it and manage symptoms. This guy doesn’t sound like he’s going to. He’s using it as an excuse.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/19 09:51 PM

I’m more concerned with how he told you than the fact he has autism. The fact you dated him for two months without noticing means his autism is probably fine. But the way he brought it up is messed up for two reasons: He won’t take responsibility for things and will blame his autism He will not seek to improve due to how he blames his autism I would dump for those reasons, not for the autism. Also kinda messed up he didn’t tell you until after sex. I understand not disclosing right away, but con…

Yes to prenups. Studies show that women, not men, end up much worse off after divorce. Studies also point to the fact that women trust too much in the man and that’s why they get screwed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/19 06:21 PM

Agreed. Stop justifying what you want to men. Explaining something also gives them (in their minds) a chance to argue with you to lower their standards. They think your no is up for debate. If they offer you something you don’t want, say no thanks and move on.

In theory it should work but in actuality most women are not equipped to deal with men in this way and will be taken advantage of. Cards stacked against you. Unless you’re Wendi Deng, that woman is something else, lol. Kind of like how legalizing prostitution actually increases sex trafficking. In theory it should lower it but it doesn’t because it’s a losing battle for women.

Sometimes women in male dominated fields can be unhelpful because they feel bitter they had to claw their way up and they don’t want to help the younger generations. And some women feel the opposite. You have to keep looking. And men can still be helpful in your career. You have to know what to be cautious of (creeps) and be very good at enforcing boundaries in a way that doesn’t piss them off but makes them back off right away. And not all men will be creeps but enough of them will be to be a p…

The reason I don’t want kids is exactly this. I think it’s too hard. I’ve worked damn hard to make my way up. I work in a male dominated industry. I find that infinitely easier than staying at home and raising children. I’ve never had children so it’s probably way harder than I think it already is.

Yes. I would cancel any plans you had with him and stop responding completely. I would also block because it’s very likely he will get angry. I’m not married and most of my friends have been married for less than 10 years so I probably don’t have much good advice. But I can tell you to stop doing all those things immediately. Start rejecting sex when you don’t wanna have sex. Don’t give in or try to justify your answer if he whines. Repeat yourself by saying, no I don’t want to, this is no longer up for discussion. That’s true anyway. You don’t have to argue with men on Reddit to know what women are up against. Also it can get depressing on Reddit, but try to remind yourself that most of the real world doesn’t function like Reddit. The majority of Reddit, from what I can tell, are loser men. Once you realize you’re not interested in changing crappy men and it’s not your responsibility, the world becomes lighter. Your goal should be to eliminate these men from your life as much as you can, not fix them. Let…

Another person to agree here. I would love to find an appropriate fwb as I don’t have the capacity right now for a serious relationship. But finding an appropriate fwb is almost as hard as finding a good boyfriend. Now I hardly crave sex and it’s because I’m so busy with things I want in my life. This is why spaces like this are so important. I admit I sometimes argue with Reddit men when I’m looking to release negative energy in a way that isn’t destructive to my actual life. But I know it’s a waste of time and I’m not convincing anyone. It’s more about me than them. Those who matter don’t mind and those who mind don’t matter.

Yup. The more confident and sure of myself I become, the less men like me in general. But it’s like a natural filter. The men who are worth anything are more into me than before. There’s a difference between standards and leagues. To me, leagues are superficial qualities you can evaluate without getting to really know a person. Social status, looks, job, financial background, etc. Standards are much harder. Integrity, honesty, good treatment, good work ethic, empathy, etc. You have to spend time and effort to find these. Also, it has no correlation to league. FDS promotes having high standards. We are all from different leagues. If I am a 40 year old waitress with no for…

My suspicion is purely based on personal experience and extremely generalized, so take it with a grain of salt. I think they pretend because they want to keep women down; men have been doing that throughout history. Financial freedom is a real thing. It’s the modern day’s way of beating people into submission. It’s much more frowned upon now to physically beat a woman than it was before. It’s about control and the easiest way to control someone now is with money. This is a real tactic that is us…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/12/19 03:14 AM
23

The reason why I don’t recommend this is because a guy who wants to pay will be put off by this approach. Your role is to observe how men act (and delete if necessary), not tell them how to act. Telling them doesn’t work anyway. Planning and paying for dates is a screening process, not the end goal. All it does is eliminates the very bottom of the barrel type men. Let’s face it, every man knows they are supposed to pay for at least the first few dates if they want things to continue. If they are…

Interesting. I noticed TRP and the like attract a lot of socially rejected teens and early 20s men. A lot of them (not all) end up “growing out” of it and join the real world. I also noticed TRP starts out reasonable. Groom and take care of yourself. Don’t be obsessed over one girl at first. Etc. For young men who are frustrated their penis isn’t getting wet, it seems like amazing advice. Then it devolves into manipulation and rape. It’s the opposite here. Many of the women here dated how societ…

I don’t have specific advice but Women here need to stop referring to men as high value after 3 dates or a month or whatever. I feel like people aren’t really understanding the concept behind FDS. You don’t know his value after 3 dates especially when you’ve initiated most of them, planned, and paid. He hasn’t had the time or opportunity to show anything yet.

She shared the link with him.

Lmaoooo does he actually think a woman would believe this made up story?

The break ups show it works.... But I guess if your goal is to be in a relationship and that’s it then I wouldn’t recommend fds.

I’m so happy to read about all these break ups. I know it sounds bad but I’m always happy when someone leaves a bad relationship even though it’s so difficult.

How do the men of Reddit respond when this kind of data is posted? Denial?

Yeah this has been my experience too.

Yup if they complain say an eye for an eye.

I never said it was shallow. But I don’t think it should be encouraged at all. I’m not personally against it, I would get it myself one day if I felt like it.

Tbh women are pressured enough to do crazy shit for beauty, most middle class white girls in their late 20s I know are getting Botox and fillers. That’s sad to me. I don’t think we should be encouraging surgery.

Wanting to appear your best doesn’t mean surgery.

He literally told you what he wants...

I would let him grieve. Life happens. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to start anything with him right now. He’s probably not stable emotionally; I don’t blame him.

Yesssssss I have been telling this to my female friends for years, before finding this sub. Stop thinking ugly men are nicer than hot men.

What would you be hiding exactly? This is what I’m confused about. Yes I’ve had sex with other people before you and here are my current STD results is all the info you need. I don’t understand what info you feel like you’re “hiding” that is going to weed men out.

I don’t even like receiving much. I’m not against it but it’s not something I really want or need. I still want him to do it and do so enthusiastically. Men who don’t do this are selfish lovers overall. No thanks.

Yeah unfortunately this kind of treatment only works on women with already low self worth. Making it even worse for them. A secure woman would just laugh and move on.

Yes this. All the men (that are worth half a damn) irl that I’ve talked to about this agree. They don’t date or they date less if they don’t have the finances.

If you’re looking for a relationship, you can’t turn this around. Learn from this and start over.

Everyone knows people have a sexual past, unless religious or very young. There’s no point in asking except to cast judgement. And judgement on women falls much harsher. So why risk it? You gain nothing by telling them details about your sexual past. Men who are judgmental about a woman’s sexual past will reveal it with their comments about other women and with time.

Yeah it is ridiculous. And saying nope that’s private info isn’t a lie. At all. These people calling it lying need to fuck off.

Shit, men even tell you your physical flaws when you aren’t dating or interest. It’s like... why do you think I care?

Nothing. You can only dump.

Why is it considered lying if you just don’t share? If someone asks me about my sexual history (rarely happens tbh) then I tell him it’s not his business. And I don’t ask about his. I only care about std results.

Very smart of you to get pics of him in case he harasses you later.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/12/19 06:04 PM

You should move on. It’s very obvious from this reply that you’re still trying to find a way to give him a chance. If he somehow comes back into your life a better man (not by you doing anything, but just by chance), then you can deal with it then. In the meantime, don’t hold onto hope.

Lmao and you ignored the part about men literally killing women because of entitlement. Pls show me when a woman did that.

Yup. The majority of advice on Reddit is from men and it’s two things Do all the work (initiate, approach, compliment, pay) Lower your standards I get why men want this, makes dating easier for them. But how does this help women in dating? You’ll end up tired (wonder why women are always stuck during the majority of housework and child rearing and managing) and with someone below you. Women, do not listen to dating advice from men. It all revolves around making it easier for the man and harder f…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
