Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersWell first, you have to create like an arsenal of "move lists." These move lists could be very basic, up to advanced. In my opinion, basic move list would be like side-to-side steps, arm waves, body waves, running man, sway, fist pump, jumping, etc. Basically simple movements with little to no muscle control. Advanced move list would be like moonwalking, animated slides, pop and lock, shuffling, sponge bob, freezes, etc. Each move must have a transition phase, which will connect the 2 moves toge… | /r/seduction | 04/06/11 07:54 AM
Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersI wouldn't say that's always true. Women look at dancing men as how they may perform in bed sometimes. But, I dance because it's fun, not to get laid. Creating fun atmosphere is great, and it's especially great when I'm the first person on the dance floor, which is the ice breaker for others to come on the floor. | /r/seduction | 04/06/11 07:46 AM
Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersI personally practice 30min to an hour per day. It's not constantly trying to dance, but spending some time trying to understand the concepts. Example, I spent time understanding the breakdowns to do the step, sponge bob (I believe is the name), which is the side to side shuffling movement incorporated with a bit of a jumping and leg crossing at a fast pace. It's in the LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem music video towards end when the robot-dude is dancing. | /r/seduction | 04/06/11 07:43 AM

Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersAre you talking face to face dancing while you're still apart, or grinding/freak dancing? When it's just face to face with little space (minimal physical contact) you want to ease up on showing off, as if you're still doing your solo moves it may make the girl think you're completely ignoring her. You want to majority of the time have your body facing her as to show that you are paying attention to her, while you are still showing independence by dancing on your own. You can either attempt to es… | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 11:13 PM

Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersYes. It's a TV show, so they can't have all amazing dancers, and add that "extra" entertainment. American Idol does it also, passing through terrible terrible singers for entertainment purposes. Kind of an asshole-ish thing to do, but it's TV. Either that, or like I said with picking 2 out of group of 8, maybe some groups had really really bad dancers, but still had to choose 2. | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 08:38 PM
Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersI'm personally open in trying out all types of dancing. Some dances are harder to try due to needing a partner. Especially now, SYTYCD, you gotta at least have the fundamentals of various types of dancing, or have that quick learning abilities to understand them. You can try to relate to your current style, then branch out. I used to be solely pop and lock / rave early high school days, but now I'm more of the hip hop style today, some pop, and lil bit of breakdancing. You also gotta do what you… | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 08:31 PM

Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersYeah, tempo is beats per minute, which defines how fast/slow a count is per measure. These are all musical terms, so let me elaborate more. In every song, you can break them down into counts, which usually is 4 counts. In most songs, there's always some sort of a bass/chime/clap, that's continuously repetitive and consistent. Usually, these are 100% in-sync with the counts. Listen to the song Flo Rida - Right Round on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lE7e0mvqfMo). The bass is 100% in-sync… | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 03:46 PM
Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersHaven't noticed that I always did that until you just pointed it out, lol. I guess it's just how our brains are wired for the "transition flow." I know when I practiced wave-tracing awhile back, you would trace from your arms, down the body, to your legs, and then back up. That probably just stuck as a habit, so whenever I want to do kick switches I do the "tracing." I'm thinking about it now, and I personally would feel a bit awkward without at least doing a body wave down to my legs. | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 03:36 PM
Tips on Dancing for the TRUE beginnersI was eliminated before the "taping" stage. The behind-the-scene producers picked 2 people out of group of 8. The groups were created randomly, and I believe I was in an unlucky group, as 4 guys were far more superior than I was. A song was playing, and each person got up in front of the judges and danced for about 15 seconds, complete freestyle. The 2 that were picked were a power-breakdancer (lots of hands only movements), and ticker (for those that don't know what that is, it's pretty much a … | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 03:24 PM
I'm in college, and I'm supposed to be an escort for a hot chick I've never met to her senior prom. Help.Hey man, I'm a very very technical guy, and it takes a "bit" of getting used to if ur muscles have never "moved" in such ways before. 1 rule is to always stay loose/relaxed. Always being stiff/tense won't allow fluid movements. There are dance styles where you "purposely" stiffen up, like pop n lock, but that's only for shorten amount of time, and it's more advanced. Once you understand the meaning of loose/relaxed state, then you incorporate movements in-sync with whatever beat you choose in th… | /r/seduction | 03/06/11 01:44 PM
I'm in college, and I'm supposed to be an escort for a hot chick I've never met to her senior prom. Help.Oh yeah, and I bet you they will play LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem. Learn how to shuffle, and you're golden when this song comes on. You'll be the center of attention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ6zr6kCPj8 | /r/seduction | 02/06/11 04:43 PM
I'm in college, and I'm supposed to be an escort for a hot chick I've never met to her senior prom. Help.I can give you a general advice on dancing, as I am a dancer for 10 years. Stay very loose, relaxed. Lots of people who are inexperienced tend to be very stiff and think too much on "what to do next." Don't have to do any big, fancy moves to casually dance. As long as you move with the music, pretty much anything looks good. It's about keeping a rhythm. Listen for a beat, move to the beat. People can tell if you're dancing off-sync, even people who don't dance can tell. http://www.youtube.com/wa… | /r/seduction | 02/06/11 04:38 PM
[FR] gaming a girl with a bfHmm... I might be wrong, as I am still new, but this is my opinion: I think you should've pushed her a bit when she was grinding on you. I know it's tempting, and thinking hey it's kino escalation, but if it was me I would've pushed her away a little bit and told her she can't do that b/c she has a boyfriend, but you have no problem dancing with her; just not freaky dancing. I say this because in the past I did have a girl who started showing a bit of a "feeling" and I told her she can't do that… | /r/seduction | 01/06/11 06:45 PM
Did I miss my chance? well...shit.Something I am in the process of working on too, but from my understanding: anything can be escalated slowly until you get an indicator from her that it's too much. That's when you back off, create more comfort/attraction, then slowly try again. She will always let you know if she's ok with it, or not. | /r/seduction | 01/06/11 04:49 PM
You know what feeling I really hate, Seddit?I was like this until last week when I finally decided to change my social life. I was always afraid of what people thought of me, wanting to know how I was judged, what I had to do to become accepted, especially with women, and because of all these thoughts I was reserved, or completely went overboard and scared people away. Then I had an epiphany, that I can't live like that. Why should I care what people think of me? If they think of me as someone they can't hang out with, then I'll just say … | /r/seduction | 01/06/11 02:42 PM
How do/did you get rid of approach anxiety??I had the worst case of AA my entire life, until last week. I decided to finally change the way I perceive the environment, and it works... And it works, because it's 100% true. If you are afraid of how you are going to be judged by people around you, why does that matter? Their judgment is theirs, which defines who THEY are, not who you are. You define who you are. You can't please everyone, but out of all the people surrounding your everyday life, someone is always on the same boat as you. Eve… | /r/seduction | 30/05/11 07:03 AM
[FR] My Attempts after being an RFC my whole life (I posted earlier about not being able to close)O, and the altoid thing, it wasn't b/c my breath was bad. I asked for it b/c 1 girl pulled it out and gave it to her friend. I went, "oooo. I want one" and she gave me 1. Then I said "o, I don't even know exactly what this is." And the girl said, "Ecstasy. Moohahah!" | /r/seduction | 28/05/11 07:01 AM
RFC: REALLY Frustrated Chump seeks help from you all!Hey thanks for your advice. Yeah from what I have gathered, seems like my conversation topic is always bland, and there's really no entertainment value whatsoever, moreso trying to force a conversation with easy mutual topic: work, school, daily routine. I don't think I have made anything entertaining/fun in a conversation, and I need to work on that. Make it more playful, add a bit of a tease, and most importantly give them a bit of a break to digest. Sometimes I stay in for too long, where it … | /r/seduction | 27/05/11 03:30 PM

RFC: REALLY Frustrated Chump seeks help from you all!I'm pretty sure I'm jumping to conclusion, but after discussing with some of my friends about my wardrobe, we believe that the way I currently dress is more suitable for the asian community. | 1 | RFC: REALLY Frustrated Chump seeks help from you all!Should I dress like this more often? I dress like this only on special occasions, like going to a fancy bar or going to a nice restaurant. | 1 | RFC: REALLY Frustrated Chump seeks help from you all!Yeah I didn't want to believe the whole "location" differences. I just needed someone out of my norm to tell me that. Thanks. | /r/seduction | 26/05/11 01:43 PM
RFC: REALLY Frustrated Chump seeks help from you all!Let me give you the most recent scenario that took place last week: I was at a bar with like a basement bocce ball setup. There were these group of girls just sitting, waiting for their turn. I opened up asking if they have ever played, because I haven't (and I really haven't). They were trying to teach me on the basics of the game, and then I asked them if they come to this specific bar a lot, and just built the convo from there. Eventually it got into talks about career, and 1 girl said sports… | /r/seduction | 26/05/11 01:32 PM
