It is an ongoing process my friend. If you're out there getting rejected, then you are still learning and getting experience. As long as you're doing something, anything at all, you're not failing. Don't give yourself goals like "I need to find a date for this night" because that adds pressure and can make you come off needy. Your only goal should be to go out, have fun and meet people. Everything else is icing on the cake.

This is my favorite, in my book it's gold: http://en.akinator.com/ Get the phone app. When I am looking to change things up or make an excuse to get next to a girl, I say "hey, let's play a game." Ask them to pick a character, can be anyone... mother, writer, movie star, movie character, whatever. After they pick, I pull up next to them (if I'm not there already) and start playing the guessing game with them. It is a great way to get the mood positive and fun if it's not there already. Hope that…

I agree 100% with this. It doesn't matter what everyone else does, and half of what this is all about is when someone gets in your face and says you're "lame" you have the confidence to stick to your guns. You do what you do because it is in accordance with your values, not because others dictate what you should be doing.

I agree with nycprowl in saying that you will find mixed results with this, but I can honestly say that lately I have been having a "minimal texting" policy and it has completely changed my game. Last year when I was dating around a lot, I was using brief texts to make plans, say a quick hello, etc. But I also noticed that as any relationships progressed, the women seemed to become very texting dependent and this led to many miscommunications down the line. What I have been doing for the past se…

Nothing yet, but there have been a few people that I have bumped into later on in bars and had another chat with. That's about it though, I'm sure if I had wanted to I could have turned them into something, but not something I was interested in.

My good man, I wish I could have read this a month ago. I made a very similar mistake recently, and your bullet points at the end of this really hit it out of the park for me. Thank you in helping ensure that I do not make the same mistake twice!

A while back I would say yes, but I have since changed my ways. I met a woman once who was nuts about me. The first month we were together she texted me all the time. At first I was playing it cool and not replying right away and sometimes leaving things be after she'd send a message. During this time she was SUPER into me and she was always very excited to see me. Eventually though I got too comfortable and we were communicating a lot via text, to the point where sometimes I'd hit her up first.…

Not yet, I will most likely give her a call sometime this week.

This actually ran through my mind, but I thought it was too risky. As I kept glancing at my friend, I could see he wasn't doing well and I thought if I left her, her friend would try to get her to leave or something if she went out to her car. It's possible it could have worked out as you say, but I played it safe. Besides, her friend definitely pounced the second we got off the dance floor, so it's totally possible if I tried to go out with her to her car the friend would have cockblocked me. E…

I agree, to an extent. I would say that most of the dates and/or conversations I have with women from online sites eventually lead to being asked "so, are you really 6 feet tall?" or "I'm SO glad you're as tall as you said you were." I was actually really surprised that height mattered so much to women. That being said, if you have no social skills or can't make a girl laugh it doesn't matter if you're a 7 foot tall model, she's not going to stick around for long.

You probably don't want to hear this, but once attraction like that is lost it is very hard to get back. I have been in similar situations with women from my younger years who after a few months say that the "spark" just wasn't there, and it ultimately just ends... these were with women I was having sex with, however. Try to look at this objectively for a moment though, if you were not attracted AT ALL to her and didn't want to sleep with her, would there be anything SHE could do to keep you? If…
