They want to see who is old or pregnant, or for sales who is attractive, all things to weed out wasting time interviewing the wrong type of people. While in person interviews did this, it is much less of an effort for employers to find this out over a web cam than in person somewhere.

Companies do this now too to circumvent not being able to ask certain things on applications. Improvise. Adapt. Discriminate.

I was listening to a radio station years ago and a comic was on and said he was driving through the Midwest and was stopped at the "slow guy" holding that sign. Comic: Hey nice living there guy prolly 20 bucks and hour huh Slow Sign Guy : Hey you're driving a Honda, you better shut up a guy lost his job because of that Comic: You could be replaced by a bucket of sand

Not right for everyone but I met many during my enlistment in a similar boat so they signed up for the military. Others went to college that would get you out too. Above all I would suggest a trade school because they are short, no B.S. classes and a skill you can always fall back on in most cases. All 3 of these are options to at least consider and investigate more.

"Can't without dick" is this translated or something? How come there's so many submissions here with grammar and spelling errors so often? It makes us look pretty dumb as they can always diminish our points because we can't even spell or do 6th grade grammar correctly.

The value isn't intrinsic as you are asking for, the value is assigned by the beholder. Since women do not diversify this much between each other and they have all agreed on their criteria, it is for them to decide what HVM is as they are the purchasers.

...again, you have no idea what these people in the pic did. How long did they exercise? What did they do before or after this? Where are they now, how much weight did they lose, over what period of time? You know nothing and your source for everything is your ass. Everything you say is conjecture trying to be smuggled in as established fact, and you have all of your work ahead of you to actually do that, this is textbook conjecture start to finish with every single one of your posts, what, you …

More dumbass logic from reddit's finest I see. Whether or not they knew how to diet has no bearing on a person trying to better themselves. Stretching is the only thing that happens in this picture idiot, yes. That's what pictures are, they aren't videos, you have fuckall knowledge on what they do afterwards, but I think it's pretty obvious people don't change over into other clothes and stretch and take pictures of it and then go sit on a couch. What your private gym has to do with anything…

We aren't talking about what made them fat, we are talking about them exercising in some fashion to remedy it. Your entire post addresses something I'm not even talking about, being fat is obviously a given. The chick on the date I went on couldn't even afford cheap internet at her house. Yet she acted so entitled. She was like a 6 for her age. I thought okay, small town stuff, more humble right? No, it is the nature of OLD, the arena I chose to enter, that corrupts them all. A broke bitch who can't afford dinner or internet giving me a hard time. She knew I got a great job and house and car to myself and still she was a C U Next Tuesday.

Yep. They are adapting to this and that's what I noticed is new after being gone for about 8years of OLD, this is new and they are good at hiding shit and the thirst pushes you to think how good it is. Then two days of browsing and setting up filters you realize a smaller town area like mine...well...I just went through all them. Now I gotta wait for new ppl to join, so that's why they got me for 6 months at once. It's smart from their end. E harmony is worst at this. Again learn from my mistake…

I worded it poorly, it was much less overt, the family & holiday pressures were internal on myself as I saw "happy" couples all around me. Clearer head now, those chicks were just acting nice and are probably nagging them right now over the weekend to stop relaxing and go do stuff with them.

I got out kind of clean, no kids, so it was more of a small financial hit and broken heart, this was 2014. I recently bought a huge house (relative to just me and dog), holidays were around, family pressure was not overt, more me seeing all these GFs and they were on good behavior of course. I'm good now, this event was about a 2 months ago, and since it has just been more wastela…

Making your own money and putting it in the bank isn't selfishness. They'd have all of their work ahead of them to demonstrate that. You should write out a sentence on paper like "I work and save and spend my own money on what I want" and hand them the pen and ask them to circle the selfish part.

If you are dependent on your family for something do what you can to seriously diminish that or rid yourself on it entirely. It is one thing to have them to lean on, it is entirely another if their assistance is conditional on you doing what they want once you are an adult. I found myself in a lot of the situations you described above, went to boarding schools where friends weren't local, did military and when that ended again everyone moved back to their home state. Work slower. Go over results several times but to them just looks like you're busy. You need to lower your productivity and get the other 2 gents to do the same. Have a good reason if confronted after they notice like you found yourself making mistakes going that fast before, like typing with high wpm but tons of mistakes. You asked "why is it like this" in parts of your post. It's always been like this for tons of species. Check out this stupid bird dance trying to get a female's attention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbLpZn4B7b0 It's the nature of the "trade." The seller gets to choose from a host of buyers, so that is why it is the way it is, and always will be as long as this is the only main option for males and females and how they reproduce.

This. You can't truly draw any meaningful conclusion to this since they were done in the same instance on the same sample. They were primed for the second one and it shouldn't be considered unless they did it on the same variable-type of women and situation, but each man had been the first to say it to them. The results would likely be different depending on who "went first" if you do it to the same exact group 5 minutes later.

You won't be surprised to find out they had to grossly exaggerate and broaden the definition to get a 25% rate. This is one of those things you can disregard because the world we'd be living in if that was going on would be so entirely different than what we have now. 25% would be an epidemic and would fill our newspapers, tv stories, and completely bog down police stations with all of the investigations, all on a daily basis. Wages are set by supply and demand. Wages being set by what landlords decide to charge is a flawed model and a pie in the sky "wouldn't it be nice if" idea that can change on a whim, instead of the cold hard logic of supply/demand naturally setting these prices. Good ol' confirmation bias at work. Not the only logical fallacy you can easily recognize when paying attention to them.

Make yourself less available to everything she wants to do, even if you enjoy doing them with her. Stop responding to her texts & messages as quickly as you probably are. If you value the friendship for now and want another run at it later romantically, you're going to have to finish up whatever plans you already agreed to, but then start soft-nexting. The visible things that will most likely have her viewing you as attractive are to work out harder and also start hitting up women for some dates…

Thomas Sowell talked about this with affirmative action being horrible for the people it was trying to benefit. Most employers will decide it just isn't worth their while to take a risk on hiring a black person unless they've already proven themselves in big ways (college grads, honor students, high-value athlete). So it ends up hurting the average person when there are restrictions on firing a bad employee when they're a "protected" class as a huge amount of people simply aren't worth the dange…

I've watched all of Parks and Rec. Ron Swanson is a great character, but hardly the popularity contest you submit of "A better example of an alpha male on TV." Who cares and why would you start the popularity contest anyway, make you're own "Ron Swanson is awesome in TV as TRP" post. We both know the Sherlock angle is intriguing and Ron isn't unique much at all. They're both good in their own respects, no need for a popularity contest of a who-is-bettar!! here.

You're missing the point. The point of this post was to show (in TV) an alpha male that isn't a brute, but incredibly intelligent. This, paired with his attitude toward social niceties or giving women attention makes him a very unique individual. A "tough guy" who does woodworking and eats a lot of meat isn't unique. He also melts/gives in when his x-wife shows up a lot, so again, bad example of an alpha over someone who is dismissive of women in general.

Guys on Christian Mingle are cleaning up for the same reason this can be A & A'd, it is bullshit and a thinly-veiled shit test - especially considering they ante up by joining online dating sites or flirt with you in person (so you know she's considering sex) and then they usually just end up using this as last minute resistance. In the USA most women are given this weak card early on so they always have it. If you're given this then know it works on all her orbiters at church & social groups. A…

I'd say that some are backed up by objective facts like divorce rates, and others by subjective and anecdotal stories. Sandman seems to say many blanket statements well beyond AWALT - mostly as to why women do something or other by just stating some reason that seems off and is never backed up. This is separate from centuries of literature and philosophy that spans across several cultures and nations that all point to the evolutionary/natural explanation for behaviors of the sexes. So saying X c…

I agree. I've listened to a lot of Sandman's channel from time to time, and it is a definite fault in his reasoning to come to a conclusion based off post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacies. This happens so incredibly often it is a disservice to his main point for most videos. That, or he just uses some unjustified presupposition to come to a conclusion, then use this shaky conclusion to justify other conclusions in an oversimplified and general fashion.

He walks away from the girl, following his own advice from earlier in the film when he talked about being able to walk out on a woman, hence my analogy. He goes back for revenge, but he left that woman in the car and dipped out, even with her staring him down.

Using sex as a bartering chip/power play is a huge warning sign. Go Kevin Spacey/American Beauty and spend at least a 1-2 weeks going into self-improvement overhaul mode. Don't use dread game or anything in any way to have sex. Don't use any game for that matter. Just improve yourself. Do this by critically thinking about ways to do it, and they will subtly frustrate her. Don't overtly do things and make eye contact between reps or anything. When she confronts you have stupidly simple things to …

I always picture DeNiro in Heat talking about always being ready to walk away, and he does just that at the end of the movie. This is how you have to be: completely secure/outcome independent. Once you become this solid, and especially when your target sees the interested competition right in her face, the tide will most likely turn in your favor. Why this works so often with different "types" of women across the board is beyond me (as a logical male), but it seems to work everytime I employ it.

Plus, there's a good reason to believe "faking it" is going to mess with your confidence. A lot of TRP is inward-looking and being honest with your plates so that you have a frame that can't be weakened by being caught out in a lie and damaging your integrity. Deep down, confidence isn't winning her, its sneaking and tricks. "Closing" with a female shouldn't come at much cost, especially your integrity.

Good perspective. I'd say that it was probably titled (I just c & p'd) that way instead of going into huge title lengths (like you described). I agree with you, but I'm also trying to be understanding of title length and common sense for choosing. I do think he hit on major points you hear brought up, even in its dated form I've heard the same old arguments in the face of opposing data.
