Suffice it to say that media in the recent past has been leaning towards female centric stories and frequently portraying men as the comic relief and inadequate simps. Few films and series have truly encaptured masculine traits and told stories about men who showcase attributes which can be seen as positive.

For example I just began re-watching the series Band of Brothers and will be following with the Pacific. Beyond that however I am looking for suggestions on what you all believe I should watch this weekend.
