Stepdads are known to sexually abuse kids. Mostly, because it’s not their genetic material that they’re fondling. That’s why I decided to wait until my kids go to college. One of my ex-girlfriends was sexually abused by her stepdad numerous times when she was in elementary school. He only stopped because her brother walked in on them. Pretty gross.

I’m in a similar place except that she finally agreed to marriage counseling after I made it perfectly clear I wasn’t going to stay in a suspended marriage. It was actually comical because she filed and I went to counseling. Later, she told me I should file… today she said she wants to work it out! Either way, I’m good with whatever happens. My wife loves to withhold sex or any affection. She’s all about trying to assert her control which is quickly fading. Why? Money. She’s horrible with money. She owns 14 pairs of Winter boots! I think she’s had a few of these. That is to say she used send this guy pics of herself in lingerie. She confessed once he threatened to expose her. I appreciate the feedback and advice. I think the key is to make it happen fast and get out. She’s not totally unreasonable but definitely confused and taking advice from people that have no business giving it. One, a mutual friend turned lifestyle coach, keeps telling her to file, file, file but my STBX refuses and put it on me. So I’ll do it.
