A while back I posted about the decision to divorce and I really appreciated all of the advice. It meant a lot. I also read a post that went into details about who should file. Currently, the only one being super disagreeable is my wife. When I say disagreeable, it’s about exhibiting her rage towards me in any way possible. There is absolutely no intimacy of any kind. I mean nothing; we don’t talk or make time for each other - nothing. It’s like living with a messy housemate. I told her that if she wanted a divorce so badly she should file. I didn’t see why it should be me. I mean I’m the one who arranged for a therapist, I’m the one that participates in maintaining the children, taking care of the house, paying bills etc. Today, a good friend invited us to Disney World (they have son who is friends with my eldest). Sure enough when I told my wife that I might take the boys to Disney World she invited herself a long. I told her that I didn’t see why I should pay for her to go as she has repeatedly told me that there will never be any intimacy between us ever again! The nerve (LoL)! So, I gave her an ultimatum, I said that I’d she continued this bullshit she may as well file, but if she had any interest in saving our marriage she would: Here are my conditions for us resuming a normal marriage:

  1. We start being intimate again; sleeping in the same bed, going out, taking walks, and being open to communicating frankly and honestly.
  2. You curtail buying so much junk. I mean seriously give it a rest.
  3. We go through counseling and learn to re-establish our relationship and to create a solid family core structure.

Her response was on point. A flat out rejection on all points. To quote her:I don’t want to be married to you. Question, do I wait for her to file or just pull the trigger?
