I am also a bachatero in this sub. Social latino dancing clubs might be double edged to flirt with women, especially if you do it a bit "off", you can easily get a reputation for that. Also, there usually is more flirting vibes and competition coming from other guys. Moreover, they can be good dancers, with attitude and flirt, inherently in their behavior. On the other way, you can use this at your advantage. One really interesting thing which is truly original in this setup is that I would say …

No, at least it never was a problem for me. Last 2 girls I've dated did not feel open on any pushy physical escalation. On a first date I've only managed to touch her shoulders when walking or making a point, hands to see her jewelry, high fives sometimes. Maybe a hug at the end of the date. However with both girls, second dates accelerated a lot. Sexual innuendo was present in talking, but moreover, it was quite natural for the girl and me to be physically close when sharing musical tastes for …

Pre -selection is having values and applying them to filter out women that does not match. To have values, you have to know yourself first and have opinions on a lot of things. Leader of men is usually a combination of charisma and purpose. Purpose is a vast term and can be literally anything you value in life. Protector of loved ones : frame of confidence, being positive and helpful to the ones you love. Willingness to emote is I guess a way to say that you need to have feelings in your convers…

Lately, I had sexual intercourse since mid September only. No other relationship this year. I've always hit the gym and meditated regularly for 1 year. So benefits should have come in mid /late August to mid September, but nothing special happened. If I started hitting the gym and meditating at the same time of starting semen retention, that would not respect the science experiment process which requires to change only one parameter at a time.

No. I stopped masturbating since July. I just don't feel the need anymore. Nothing changed around me since then. That's BS

There are several reasons that make me not liking cold approach. Again, while that might be true, you just make shortcuts assuming it's just that I'm just afraid about it. So, here is why I don't really like cold approaching : I'm afraid of doing it because of cultural norms, you're right about it. It's quite uncommon here in France. Surprisingly I'm not afraid of rejection in itself. I often like asking girls out, it feels flirty and can be part of a good moment you share with her. You cannot r…

Lol you know that making pottery is not volunteering at all, right? About the other part of your post, that's a misinterpretation. He's not saying to be a nice guy, he's only talking about warm approaches. You do not seem to really know women mind, do you. It's not because you only have done cold approaches that this is the only way to pick up. By experience, I felt so much more connected with women when it felt smooth and natural, almost like it was random, than when I forced the interaction to…

I'm probably around 7/10 for people around me. I'm not very tall (5"8), but have an attractive face and fit body. I dress OK. In my mind, I'm a 9 or 10, that's a requirement to approach girls without any fear. Of course people tend to see themselves as above average so that's still quite subjective.

From what you say in your other recent thread on this sub and when I mix it with this one, I'm wondering if you had any real connection with a girl you like. You don't want a girl that displays so low value that she's only hot but dumb. It looks like you have a "a hole is a hole" mentality. Then why are you on this sub? Just hire prostitutes, they can be gorgeous but won't share any feeling with you. Sounds like you see sex as an act without the sharing between the people involved. Except that p…

I understand what you mean. It feels forced, unnatural. But I'm talking here about direct cold approach with the aim of getting a girl, not the situational ones where you don't really care, which tends to happen naturally sometimes and feel great. The difference is in the intention. Just keep in mind that putting direct cold approach away is clearly admitting that you won't be able to meet a large part of women. If it feels OK, then you don't have to care.

Flirting is a good tool to detect attraction. I personally dissociate indices of interest in two : Passive IoIs and Active IoIs. Passive IoIs come from her alone and are not directly triggered by your behavior. They tend to often either be really subtles and can easily be misinterpreted or not detected. Active IoIs are triggered by your behavior, either it's using words or physical communication. They are a much more powerful interest detector because they are polarizing the girl while indirectl…

Moreover, often those girls are not absolutely self-aware of themselves, excluding the pretty-and-manipulative woman, who knows she's pretty and therefore over-confident. Pretty girls are tired to be only seen for their body. Be the one who emphasizes something else. I like the saying "Tell a pretty girl she's smart, and tell a smart girl she's pretty". Even if I don't know where it comes from.

That's tricky. In general you're right. But when she's telling you "I have a boyfriend. BUT..." it might be worth. It only depends on how the girl is willing to dump her bf / cheat on him.
/r/seduction07/09/21 05:33 AM

Not necessarily, but if you don't show up, she'll not remember you. Also if later you know she's single by any mean, give her a call and ask her out

Being boring = not opening yourself. You're not showing vulnerability. You carry a social shell around that deters you into connecting to people. Depending on you age, it might just be a lack of experience / having opinions on a lot of things. I found that by experiencing a lot of different activities, I started to have strong beliefs that now kind of dictate my lifestyle. That's your frame. Once you get the frame, you have to stand up for yourself by expressing it.

She can have a boyfriend, still be interested in you. It depends on a LOT of things on her side, but maybe she has not enough courage to leave him. Or she could simply be really happy with him. You'll never know before trying. If she doesn't reject you... you might have little chance. Keep in mind anyway it's gonna be the hard path. I'm pretty sure someone commented that but deleted its own comment because of the reactions of other people that was judgemental. Personally, I don't feel bad for ex…

No. That's the best way to miss an opportunity with a shy girl. Without being needy, you still have to show desire toward a woman, especially for shy ones. Also the friend zone is one of the easiest thing to avoid when you're clear with your intentions. The only tricky one is when you're not especially attracted by her at start, therefore not so pushy, but after knowing her, you start to develop some kind of attraction.

Same as you, "Focus on yourself and you'll have women fight for having you". Hum... well now I'm pretty well rounded but I've been lately qualified as "too independant" to have a girl in my life. Honestly I'm not sure what I'm still doing in this subreddit. I won't trade a full part of my life for a woman.

The more I know about male female relationships, the more I'm starting to think that being distant is a really bad strategy, and that it's better to be a bit too close than distant. you don't interact with her, so attraction slowly drops you're showing no interest or not enough, so this could discourage her you can miss opportunities to meet her by not knowing her current agenda If you show your presence without being needy, it justs does not have all those drawbacks. Just a thought
/r/seduction02/09/21 05:49 PM

Friendly vibes is having platonic discussions that you could have with male friends. This is the only way really needy people are able to express themselves to women they are attracted to. Because of fear of expressing their desires toward the opposite sex. Chasing is when someone is always texting / looking for connection / contact. Friendly vibes are not strictly included in chasing, it's another needy behavior when people feel ashamed of their feelings
/r/seduction02/09/21 05:37 PM

Absolutely, masculinity doesn't look like it used to be. I'm not from old gens, meaning I don't literally see the difference, still, I notice the lack of role models. But... It doesn't mean actual men are aloof, in the contrary, what I commonly see is quite needy behavior, which involves lot of texting, contact, friendly vibes. This is chasing. Anyway your comment resonates with me, because I'm 100% sure I look distant with girls, which discourages them pretty well. I guess I'm quite skilled in …

I don't know why you were downvoted honestly. "Just act the same way you would act to your other friends" sums up everything. In fact some girls are simply NEVER single, so nothing wrong flirting with a girl if she is responsive, whether she has a bf or not. The problems start if she's going to cheat her bf with you and not leave him after she did. The only thing that is tricky for some of us is to not fall on the trap of the "waiting line". Don't do that. If you find someone else worth, spend t…

The truth is, the notion of yourself doesn't exist. Or even best self. There is only "you" in the present moment. You are what you behave, which means the "yourself" concept is always moving forward or to the sides, and that's perfect because there is nothing worse in life than static things. More than a yourself, you want to have a dynamic self, which is able to stop being a stationary version of you but instead a resilient one which integrates a feedback loop in his process in order to always …

"Maybe I should be looking to make my intent clear in the beginning itself" Yes yes yes and yes again, exactly this. This is just a lot simpler than it seems to avoid the instant friend zone when you do this. Sometimes even innuendo are not even perceived as flirty depending on the girl. It remembers me this interesting conversation I had last time Her : "Oh let's see in X months to see the progress I'll make, we'll meet up! I would try just one more time, and if she sounds flaky, move on. Sometimes people are literally at 110% invested in their life between job, hobbies and she even mentions volunteering, which is often really a time sinking activity. That's why I'm not categorical, she may have a strong independant mindset. Keep in mind that it's 100% sure that you're anyway not so high on her priority list.

It looks like you friend zoned yourself. In fact it's even funnier, you literally friend zoned her by saying you're gonna only be friends. I'm not sure how to proceed anyway. If you keep flirting and she becomes responsive, it means she does not really care about her couple, and you don't want to be with a girl that is not honest. Maybe you have a chance to only have sex with her, not a relationship, but that's tricky. If stop flirting, then you'll stay in the friend zone. At the risk of her sti…

Wow that post is full of really good practical stuff, not only vague nonsense advices "lift weight - dress well - cold approach". I love it. I want to add that, using statements instead of questions, holding eye contact, defending your point of view by disagreeing, and not moving back when she's really near you are All explicit and clear ways in your behavior that shows you're not afraid of conflict. I also have those thoughts sometimes, and I think everyone has it in a certain way. That's not so bad because you're in a process of questioning yourself, which ultimately leads to improvement and better calibration. It's all about being solid in your head. Problem is, you're afraid to be labeled as "loser" because you unconsciously define getting girls as a requirement to life success. Honestly I also can't get girls. Even if I tried fairly well those last months I didn't manage to go more than 1 date. Couldn't agree more. The thrill of the seduction game is so good that I'm totally looking for this kind of feelings, and they are only present when there is some kind of connection with the other person. Being explicit, if done incorrectly, completely kills the seduction. And if done correctly, it just level up the game and escalate. That's such a good roller-coaster of feelings

Honestly I'm so bad at reading / having IOIs from girls that I don't really know if she's into me or not before asking them out. If I have to wait to see any clue that she's attracted to me, I usually end up overthinking and waiting for the good timing to take risk, which technically never happens, hence it's too late, the opportunity is lost. Main problem is flirty and friendly behavior can look pretty similar depending on the type of girl, except if she's a really demonstrative person.

Not sure what you mean, having a playful and attractive frame is universal and works on every age. That's all about carrying your frame. From what I hear about your post, I'm wondering if you're not worried about appearing "childish"? Because being playfully childish and being childish is totally different. The first one implies you have responsibilities. And that's what is attractive. You might need maybe a little more confidence with 30 years olds because those have more experience in life. No…

Why do you speak like you know what "being good" is? You can't. Sorry but that's a totally absurd post. Nelson Mandela was put in jail and had the whole law system against him. It's about being an actor, not a spectator. Plus, taking leadership on an activity is not only being active, but also socially well received, because you are automatically the life of the event. Yes and no. If you're rarely at home I don't see having a bit of mess a big problem, as soon as this mess is handled periodically. Wow man come on, get back on track with us ! Life is not women centered, the other sex should have very little power about our happiness. That's resilience. In your case having a woman should emphasize what is already beneficial for you in your life, not to fill any gap. People here are very criticizing but I think it's as important as your clothes and your hygiene. Your place usually express a lot about your personality, and having at least minimum cleaning, a tidy bedroom and a chill and warm living room is important. Just do not fall in the trap of extravagance or fake hobbies, for example, don't expose a guitar collection if you don't care about playing it.

I personally do not go to gym. If you have a street workout park around you, you can do a lot of body weight exercises and gain muscles / becoming fit pretty quickly. People here are triggering the "go to the gym" sentence too quickly. Just workout. Pull ups + push ups + legs + abs are your main full body target, and it does not even require a gym

For me the most important thing (after physical attractivity, I know, I'm a bit superficial) : having a life. Being affectively dependant, or not overcoming an ex bf, is an instant turn off for me. Know where you're going to. Know with who you're going to. Discover and experiment. In practice, having hobbies, a flirty vibe and a stable emotional state are the only requirement for an healthy relationship.

You're globally right. But still it has been proved that specific gender related behaviour exists, and is often correlated to hormones. Due to that, women are for example less prone to violence and more to empathy. Anyway this post content is too specific to be gender related, as you say.

Lol wtf it's not like as men we deserve them to appeal us. I mean it's their choice based on law of offer and demand. As average men have low expectations, average women can easily have relationships without any special effort / investment in dating.

You're globally right, especially about the buying stuff parts. I totally disagree anyway on the compliment part, because it may not ask anything in return. You can make a compliment to show her you're attracted. With a little neg after it's perfect. Just calibrate

Obviously yes, because it means being honest with them and with yourself
/r/seduction26/05/21 09:43 AM

Right, it really depends HOW compliments are said. Saying them in a sentence just in a natural way and changing the subject after shows that you noticed something particular about her but still you are not totally absorbed by it. That might be like "So that's what your wear at work. It fits you well. Is there any dress code on your company or did you chose to wear it? "

So right. The goal is just the consequence of the path. When you'll tell stories to your friends or your family, you'll describe the path, because it's where the fun lives in.

I like to act like I know people even if I just met them. Talking to them like friends from the start makes it much easier in the long run!

I would say, it depends on what your goal is when you'll reconnect : do you still want to have some kind of relationship with her in the end ? If so, be sure to ask her why she deleted and ghosted you. If there is no good reason, I suggest you to move on because she was kind of disrespectful with you. Anyway in the other side, she might have valid reasons, so in this case go for it :)

I don't hold any absolute truth but here's what worked for me since last year : Living in a dynamic big city helps a LOT Find meet-up, clubs and group activities in which you're interested in Create /improve your own look based on your personality. Without being too marginal, except if it's one of your goal ofc. Wear clothes in which you can identify yourself as your best self. Have an mentor, an idol, imaginary or real, and whenever you want, act like you think they'ld act Accept all parties in…

No handsome incels? That's quite bold to assume. A lot of incels just have social anxiety so I don't believe that

Well that was mainly for the joke. But in a more serious side, in my country it's 5''5, so add heels and the guy is smaller. I don't really mind personally but I remember an ex of mine who disliked that. On my side I found that quite amusing

Why everyone is associating mens right and right wing, feminism and left wing? That's just stupid... Both are fights for human rights and gender place in society. That's similar

True, discipline is a really great power that brings a lot more happiness than people think. Binge watching, unhealthy food and addictions are also a lot present in our society, and I think it is correlated with the fact that we value immediate pleasure. Therefore, dating field is expected to also be "immediate match + success", but it's not man specific, both genre are affected.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/21 12:36 AM

That's a naive point of view. It has been discussed for so long by psychologist that a lot of what we achieve is driven partly by an inner sexual motive. It's not new at all
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 01:22 PM

Underestimated truth. It only requires to identify a shy person vs a not attracted one. Both do not behave the same.

I'm not talking about showing your intentions, I'm talking about guys that does not take having a women too seriously, the ones who primarily focus on something else in their life but still want to have good moments with girls. This still is a shallow behavior by essence, but it's not provided by abundance.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 11:47 PM

Completely right. It's not that dating is impacted. It's our whole lives that are screwed up now.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 11:09 AM
1

No. You can also be shallow as a man if you don't really care about finding a partner. Just more like wanting to flirt / have a good vibe with women, and if both are okay then go further. I does not mean that you are successful doing it. It only shows that finding a partner / ONS is not your life goal
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 10:41 AM

That's a good point and I think our current culture is pushing us to becoming more and more socially inept, especially with this pandemic lock down. Which affects relationships.

What do you mean by grooming? I mean I do not see any difference on me if I treat my skin with special cosmetics or if I just let it natural. What do you consider required for men about grooming? Genuinely interested

I think incongruence is the root of a lot of relationships problems as you say. In various domains, not only look. Eg. Talking about a lot of projects but never start one. Or saying things without really believing it (even worse). But incongruence sums up mainly one thing : not accepting yourself

I avoid buying new clothes as much as possible. Still, I usually buy second-hand brand clothes, which avoid too much consumerism and are really good looking anyway. Everything is a matter of balancing. What I mean is nowadays we have several second hand clothes apps that fits the problem very well :)
