As a man, it is good to know that all that is expected of me is not to be a rapist.

It is just brainless "protect the women from the evil leers", only it's brainless religious protect the women from the evil leers.

Haha, serious discussion in Men's Rights, good one!

The question makes perfect sense, I agree with that.

Does that make sense to you?

Have you not noticed the growing trend of men getting screwed over, especially when it comes to divorce/family court issues? What does that have to do with anything?

You're reading too much into it and starting to see things that aren't there. It's about STDs, trust me.

Happy?

It's not about pregnancy, it's about STDs. STDs means Sexually Transmitted Diseases and they can kill and maim, like a bullet does.

Translated: "Girls, be careful. Demand that your partners wear a condom." Which isn't any worse than that STD ad with a man having sex with a giant scorpion. Or any other shock ad. Getting knee-jerk outraged at things like these are what makes most of the Men's Rights subreddit a joke and it is more of a detriment to the real movement.

Are we really going to argue over such petty things? Which "side" has more links on a random University internet page? Really? Can anything even be deduced as sexist from that? What next, debating changing 'history' to 'hystory', because of the "discussion" it would bring? Stick to the real issues.

c/p From wiki: In Western culture, the practice of assigning pink to an individual gender began in the 1920s. From then until the 1940s, pink was considered appropriate for boys because being related to red it was the more masculine and decided color, while blue was considered appropriate for girls because it was the more delicate and dainty color, or related to the Virgin Mary. Since the 1940s, the societal norm apparently inverted so that pink became appropriate for girls and blue appropriate …

Depends. If the guy doing the "sexual harassment" is hot, then no lawsuit would follow. Sexual harassment lawsuits are just a way of saying you have no tact with women.

If you agree with her, she's a feminist. If not, she's a feminazi. Pretty simple.

That would be, what do they call it, well, sexism. And it would feel damn good.

A comment on IMDB? A fucking comment on IMDB? Are you fucking kidding me, he's ranting about that? That's the best example from literature that he can find on double standards about difference of age between partners? Not worth my time.

She didn't throw her life away for a few thousand dollars, she rejected her previous life and decided to get paid while she's at it. The questions are asked before the show, so she knew what she was going to answer. She probably decided "I hate my life, I want revenge on my guy" and went for it. Sorry I didn't went along with the women bashing intended, I'll try harder next time with some blonde jokes.

Yes, she's a troll. There's nothing wrong with a woman writing about men's issues from the female perspective, but when she writes from the male perspective, that's being duplicitous.

Hey, everybody: it's a joke. Why, asks Ian Banks, can't surgeries be held in bars, golf clubs, or other places men are likely to be? It's just a bunch of stereotypes piled one on top of another from there on by the submitter, who clearly has no idea what she's talking about, and is making a mockery out of men.

If the 9 minutes rape scene in Irreversible was with a man, there would be a laugh track overdubbed.

It's a TV show. She's an actress. She was acting. That boy knew what he was getting into, but he just couldn't take it because it was too much of an insult to him to be insulted by a woman. I bet he wouldn't hit back if it was a man doing the slapping.

This does not go down well with the claim that Men's Rights activists don't hate women.

But that's what the blogger is basically doing, isn't it? That's the core of the source material. He could at least try to sort things out by talking to them, instead of going on an ideological rant based on a newspaper article (which has the newspaper writer's interpretation infused into it, to complicate things even more).

"Right, because" I can make those "direct quotes from Rick's wife" say anything I want if I break them up like this, like he does, which can make them "pretty speculative" when they're out of context. And that's only at the beginning. Later, stuff like this appears: Rick is no deadbeat. He's just a guy who's lost his job. And he's discovered that mom's role can be really rewarding and he's taking to it. This is just his interpretation from the newspaper article, not from a personal talk with Ric…

Ask Rick and his wife what they think and feel, instead of basing a whole article, and argument, about what they might be thinking and feeling. But, then again, that would be journalism, and not a rant on some blog.

I don't think much about how I treat my wife either. Specially when I'm fucking my predilect whore. Damn bitch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
