I never said anything about generalising the word women? It was more about generalising and simplifying a complex 100 year old movement into "blame game" when clearly feminism has at the very least some legitimacy as a movement, unless of course you think women shouldn't have anymore rights than the ones they had in 1900?

Well you didn't say modern feminism, you said feminism which makes a difference in this case; hence why I called it a generalisation. By labelling all of feminism you make it sound as if you think the whole thing is a mistake and that we were better off before women had any rights. You've now said modern feminism - which makes more sense as the whole Internet is just a pit of blame, rage and insults on all sides. You can pick any topic and a side and you'll get echo Chambers with evidence tellin…

Bit of a generalisation? To distill a movement that's being going over 100 years down to this is reductionist and retarded.

Yeah I've always struggled with vulnerability. I was a shy, easy to embarrass kid so when anyone teased me about a girl it really got to me. I wanted to be a tough, confident, gregarious kid and I wasn't. I realise now there was no malice in it, it was just funny to see my reaction. I learnt to be non reactive and never mention girls due to it, as a form of self defence. I've got over a lot of it, but I still struggle to be truly vulnerable. And I still struggle to bring up girlfriends to my fam…

Shit that's pretty bad. I'd be mortified. At the end of the day you were drunk so you've got an excuse, people forget things quickly and people do give extra leeway in social interactions when people are drunk. Just act normal at work, don't get so pissed again on a work night out. Also you need to look at why you made such a big move for this woman, it was bold but it had no subtlety and probably came out of nowhere.

Just make yourself look like a fun person. Most women and most men will only make a judgement on whether the person looks attractive, cool and fun. You can't really portray personality until you meet the person.

You can't determine your self worth from if you have a girlfriend or not. You sound like you've improved yourself over the last few years so you should feel confident and happy about that. If you know you're decent with girls then you should know you can attract them should you put yourself out there if you want.
/r/seduction26/04/19 11:54 AM
1

Well I'd say Europeans are probably more intelligent than the average American so I'm not sure what that has to do with it. It's just the way things are, you'd need a anthropologist, historian or sociologist to explain why. You need to get into the European mindset more and stop looking at it from an Americans perspective or you'll never make any progress. Americans are often viewed as arrogant and ignorant and by saying the culture of a whole continent is stupid then you're clearly going to pro…

Yeah it's part and parcel of the game, It can happen to either side. Best thing to do is move on and let her get on with her life, try meet new girls so you're not tempted to go back to what's easy and familiar if you're drunk.
/r/seduction26/04/19 06:39 AM

Sounds like she might be leading you on. She must know you're interested but trying to make you jealous. Don't talk to her about the other guy. You need to make the dates more fun and more sexy, tease her more and try and escalate.
/r/seduction26/04/19 06:32 AM

This is just the culture in Europe. If a guy started talking to me on the bus I'd think he was weird. In the UK you only tend to talk to strangers if you're out getting pissed, don't know if it's the same in Germany.
/r/seduction25/04/19 03:38 PM

I don't think there's much wrong with replying to a girl who's chatty over message. A lot of young people have grown up with texts and messages so it's very normal to do it a lot. A good rule is to not be too chatty by just replying with a similar length message to what they reply with. Try to be funny and jokey still, if the conversation fizzles out, so be it. The girl will either try to keep it going or not. You should have arranged a meet up with them already so that's set up and sorted and i…

I get it, it's a constant war within yourself about what you're achieving. I compare myself to guys who are better with ladies too much and it brings me down. What I try to compare myself to is myself a year ago instead. If you've been progressing and improving yourself 1 year is a long time so you should be a lot better. If you're not then you're not working hard enough.

It's a constant battle for many of us, you've just gotta keep grinding away by improving yourself and putting yourself out there. Try not to compare yourself to others, only to yourself/what you used to be. You've approached a lot of women, that's so much better than how many you'd approached before you started. You need to keep busy with gym, exercise when you're feeling a little down, it's normal to have moments like that, you just need to ensure you battle them and keep on top.

It's not really something you weaponise it's just a philosophy that you can use to bring perspective into your life. I'd recommend d reading A Guide to the Good Life: The Ancient Art of Stoic Joy. If everyone's reacting the same way, it may have some truth to it. It's just that most people who are really smart don't go around telling everyone they are, they realise it's a bit immature. It doesn't make people think more of you, it does the opposite. There's whole subreddits taking the piss out of…

Exercise, meditation, stoicism. These 3 help quieten my overactive mind. PS. Stop telling everyone how smart you are, it makes people think you're a cunt. If you are really smart then people will realise this so there's no need to tell them. If you talk in real life like you wrote this, then people will roll their eyes at you.

Blacking out is a nightmare, I've done it countless times and it's never been enjoyable. I live in a culture where it's close to normal behaviour so I can get away with it but it's a terrible place to be in. The anxiety is off the charts when you wake up after a work night out not remembering how you got home or what you said. Best advice is to knock that on the head and drink a little bit for fun, never aim to be getting wankered. Admittedly it's one of my weaknesses and not only is it no help …

You should probably read a couple of books about dating and acting attractive to women, I'd recommend Models by Mark Manson and 3% Man. You need to improve your knowledge on how women work and what attracts them to a man, these two books helped me a lot with this so I'd recommend them. Overall you fucked up pretty badly but you had a lot of balls saying what you said and you weren't saying it out of neediness but because you thought it would attract her. So you can definitely chalk it down as a …

He's probably depressed/self defeating/low self esteem and low awareness of when someone is hitting on him. He might even be asexual if he's not at all bothered about female attraction so much. You shouldn't have told her you wanted to go home with her. You need to make it seem like it just happened that way, not like you were planning it. You then compounded this mistake by trying to watch a movie at hers for the second date, she thinks all you care about is sex and will probably be playing hard to get on your next date. Don't try to force it, just be relaxed and fun and see where it goes.

They might attract a certain type of woman, but if you don't care what you wear in the gym and you're more bothered about actually exercising, it's probably better to wear whatever and stay true to yourself. You can then attract women who have the same ideals and are just there to exercise. Trying to chat up women in a gym isn't a great idea anyway.

Im happy with myself at the moment, I don't get my happiness from external factors as much as I used to. I've managed to improve my mental wellbeing without seeing anyone about it and I think I can continue to do so. Basically I'm still progressing and I'm not in crisis, I keep things in perspective so I'm not sure I need it. I've never seen a therapist and I doubt I ever will but I can agree that getting my mental health sorted out paid dividends in all aspects of my life, including with women. I'm lucky in that I had a good upbringing, a supportive family and friends so it was easier for me to fix my own mental health. I did this through reading about self improvement, philosophy (particularly stoicism). Learn some basic Portuguese and start trying to talk to people, just approach them when your friend does and say hi and say your name and ask them theirs. They'll think it's funny that you're trying to speak to them in really shit sentences, but like the fact that you're trying. they'll try to teach you the language and start speaking in English. It's a good ice breaker, I've done this in a few countries where I can't speak the language.

I don't think you dealt with any of these situations well if they're true which i doubt. You escalated them every time, which makes you seem insecure and not stable. You should just quietly, respectfully and assertively stand up for yourself. If someone takes the piss then yeah you can have a laugh with it but the nipplw thing was weird and way too far. Maybe wear plasters over them next time like the ladies do.

I'd like to know this--I've been seeing a girl who I know really likes me but I don't want anything serious with her. She seems pretty chill and independent and doesn't seem insecure in anyway but I think eventually she's going to bring this up. At the moment my plan is to just be honest and say 'I enjoy spending time with you but I'm not looking for anything serious, I don't know where you are but it's better if I'm just honest.' what do you think?

Stoicism, all that anxiety is is just a thought. Imagine zooming out over the city/land above your head with all the other people there going about their day with their worries/anxieties. Meeting someone for a drink means nothing in the whole scheme of things, if it goes badly it goes badly. It's not going to end in your death, it might actually lead to something exciting. You should be nervously excited

You need to train yourself to be able to handle the pain or thoughts like this. You're probably idolising women too much, you need to consider their negative traits, that they are just people. They're probably a little anxious because they expect you to try something and then you're trying it on and they're very aware of it. It's better not to arrange sex over text but arrange to meet them. Girls like it when they don't know what mens intentions are so arranging something like that before kills that. Nah mate I've just started meeting way more girls and doing way better and I'm 25. You start blooming as soon as you stop wallowing in self pity, develop a backbone and start becoming the person you want to be.

Bit of both, if a woman is incredibly attractive she can say the most boring shit and 90% men will lap it up. Same goes with men. This gets amplified over messages as you can't tell much from a short message, chances are she's not that interested, but she might just not be that interesting. You've gotta work it out as you go, if you've not got much in common to talk about, it's probably not gonna go anywhere.
/r/seduction18/09/18 04:53 PM

You shouldn't be trying it on with a girl with a boyfriend anyway, there's plenty of other single girls about. She may have blushed because she realises you were uncomfortable and felt uncomfortable herself. Or she could like you, you'll never know and it's pointless to work out. Move on
/r/seduction18/09/18 04:43 PM

Don't bother with that it's a turn off, just message her less but try to be funny when you do. Tell her when you're doing cool interesting stuff and ask her out again at some point. If she rejects than she rejects, move on.

I've been reading about stoicism which has really helped me with this, it teaches you about how the only thing you really know is true is what you experience so why allow negative thoughts to interfere with your actions and how you are. You can't control how other people act, so if you are a good person you should not be scared to show yourself. /r/stoicism

I quit smoking weed when I realised it made me do fuck all other than watch TV, it took me a few years to realise that. I'd still do it if my friends were but I'd never do it by myself.

Try comment on something from their profile or one of their photos. Always make sure you ask interesting questions while working out logistics. Try get their number and get onto WhatsApp as you're more likely to get replies on there, and girls will think you are bolder and forward as you're asking for that. If you stop getting replies from someone who you thought the conversation was going well with, ignore it. Theres thousands of reasons someone could stop replying and they aren't all because y…

I just met some bird off hinge and let me tell you. Make sure you actually try to portray a bit of your personality on message before you meet someone. This bird I met didn't like fun at all, I was a lot better looking than her, bit she still wasn't engaging. I met an uglier bird than her last week who could hold a conversation and was interesting, this bird was boring. We did a pub quiz (which is a terrible idea for a first date) she got fuck all answers apart from the pop music round which she…

I've seen girls with profiles like that, they like everyone on bumble and then say that you have to add them on insta to talk. They just want to increase their follower count, pretty tragic behaviour don't even bother following or DMing them.

He's good looking, quirky and does what he wants and doesn't care what anyone thinks
/r/seduction13/08/18 06:38 PM

Yeah who actually talks like that, only the sort of twat you would not be friends with in real life. You don't have to be a massive cunt to pull girls, just a bit cocky and funny. You can be respectful
/r/seduction12/08/18 10:10 PM

You don't have to act alpha as fuck to have sex with girls, you just have to be a bit funny and confident enough. If you're getting a lot of matches you're clearly attractive and have decent enough chat, you might be inexperienced but the more attractive you are the more mistakes you can make and still manage to get with a girl so you should be fine. It's a numbers game, if one of the dates goes badly you brush yourself down and go again, learning things you could have done better.

Should have said thanks what's your name and started chatting, sounds like she fancied you

Nice stuff. Just moved in with a lad who's really good with the ladies, it's in a city close to bars, my fashion sense is decent and I'm in okay shape so really looking to improve my game. All of the above has really improved my confidence already and there's so many more available ladies close by so it's a lot easier than out of the city living with parents!

Sounds like they were messing with you a bit, they probably wanted to talk to you but you acted shy. Next time act more confident, you're working in a pub, you can't get told off for being talkative and friendly to customers. One of them probably said they thought you were attractive and they were drunk so they started being flirty with you, just try join in with the banter next time, what's the worst that can happen.

I'm very similar to you, I'm good looking, in decent shape and 6ft but I always avoided stuff like this in the past. I self sabotage a lot and convince myself girls aren't interested in me when they probably are, I only tend to sleep with girls who've spelled it out they are interested in me, I've not really chased before. What I'm doing to change this is to just to just start trying to get more experience and put myself out there more. I've started smashing tinder, bumble and hinge and my pics …

As long as you do it subtly your fine, even if not subtle some girls will still like it, depends who you're trying to attract. If you want some basic girl she'll probably won't mind if you're wearing a vest, if you're trying to attract a classy bird then she'll care about your clothes so you'd have to wear a well fitting shirt that still shows you work out.

This is great I identify with a lot on here, especially the bit about being someone who approaches things methodically and studies flaws to try and improve. When I first started trying to improve my romantic life I was trying to force myself to be like a friend who is a hit with the ladies, and like what a lot of people idolise as a great seducer, except that isn't me. We share some qualities in that we're opinionated, intelligent people. He's much more outgoing and actively enjoys the thrill of…

Bad idea, she might reject your actions at that point because she's trying to be serious. That would only work if you're a lot more attractive than her.

Keep plugging away you'll get better, at least you're getting out there a bit. I think you might need to get better at conversation and having a fun, jokey personality. Try get the girl talking most of the time, with you making funny comments and asking more questions.

Girls sometimes don't want other girls to know they're banging someone after a first date cos girls are more judgemental than lads. Maybe the girl in question isn't great friends with her roommate so is concerned she would judge her negatively.

The dialogue in this show is so far from real and natural conversation. Saying that barely any shows are, you can learn how to improve your funny persona watching shows like this but it's not particularly natural. It's a pretty good show though.

You need to stop looking at it like it's a hindrance. I'm an introvert but I see it as a strength. I'm quieter, but when I say something it carries more weight so you can be funnier by saying something outrageous out of the blue. Girls naturally want to talk more on dates anyway, I let them talk about themselves being a good listener but making them laugh. I admit it makes it more difficult to go out and try and attract strangers, but when you're one on one on a date already it can be a strength…

There's so much you can do at this point to improve how attractive you are and how confident you are so there's a lot of hope! Watch some YouTube videos on lifting and find a beginner routine on /r/fitness and stick to it. You may be bald but loads of men are and still get women. There's plenty more of advice on here, try reading models by mark manson, 3% man, no more Mr Nice guy, these will all help.
