They're calling it paid parental leave for a reason. The article might not mention men I'm willing to bet that they are included or else they'd say maternity leave. I went on 6 months of paid parental leave once. My wife wasn't employed so I took 6 months of the time that we were entiled to (I think it was a year shared). It's now a year paid with a year unpaid.

If she had a psychotic episode that gave her the strong impression that she was hiding her child from some form of evil would you still consider her to be morally responsible?

A four year old has a curiosity about the differences between sexes and might touch others (not in the same way as adults) of roughly the same age out of that curiosity including male/male or male/female or female/female (it has no bearing on their future sexuality), also, they do touch themselves (not in the same way as adults); all of this is fairly normal. I don't think a four year old should be at a stage where he's connected the dots to the point that he has developed a sexual preference an…

No doubt you feel like a seedy character everytime you ask. Who would of thought that you shouldn't feel entitled to have sexual intercourse with a person that identifies themselves as your sexual partner. After all just because somebody calls themselves your sexual partner doesn't mean that they're entitling you to have sex with them so you shouldn't have any ideas that you are in a sexual relationship or that you're ever going to have present or future sex with that person. Your wife is your s…

In the NFL you sign a conduct policy so it's easier to take action against you. Most businesses have some form of code of conduct document, as well as, several HR dignity and respect policies, as well as, a few government regulations that they need to follow and make sure you follow.

Let's approach this from a different angle: your sexual partner is the one that entitles you and if your are in a sexual relationship you should expect that there will be sexual relations between you and your sexual partner. Does the word have a special meaning in gender studies that is doesn't exist in the rest of the world? Ask a sex therapist if it's normal to expect sex with your sexual partner when you are in a sexual relationship.

If you are involved with another person as exclusive sexual partners, which is a typical relationship, you are entitled to have sex with that person; if that person denies you sex you are entitled to a legal divorce. You can't deny your partner sex but still expect them to remain your partner. As I stressed above the devil is in the details but you are entitled to sex if you are in a sexual relationship.

Every human in a sexual relationship is entitled to sex. To withhold sex from your SO is abuse. The when, where, and how's are debatable but every human being in a sexual relationship in entitled to consensual sex.

It was my belief growing up, and having talked with many men, the rituals of dating exist to show a potential mate your value as their potential mate both as life partners and also as parents. I think this is the mindset of most of the men I know. The writer's perspective is something I've only seen around immature people that haven't grown beyond being selfish and selfish people make lousy mates.

You've never played football. Even with all that gear on it still hurts to get tackled. He's tough. I'm not saying that it was right that he was hit or that he can't defend himself; I'm saying that fear probably wasn't his motive and his attempt to protect himself was overkill. She was charged with battery and he was charged with assault and the charges were dropped because both have agree'd to counselling. Criminally this issue has been resolved so long as both of them are in counselling.

From what I've read from NJ defense law websites - the level of violence that you use can't exceed the violence that you are trying to prevent. She was slapping,he punched her hard enough to knock her down. None of her blows seemed to cause him any instability much less knock him down or out. Fear? He's a running back ffs! Assault is that - it's true, however, assault is also type of battery when a violent injury has occurred. She smacked him it's battery but he knocked her out it's assault.

You have the right to only use as much force is required to protect yourself from serious injury or death. From what I saw he was not being seriously injured or killed. His injuries from her were obviously minimal since he was very able to assist her after she was unconscious. She should be charged with battery and he should be charged with assault.

I'm a middle aged man and I can't think of one time I've witnessed a sex assault (except for that woman that grabbed my ass), had prior knowledge of sex assualt, or had a buddy confide in me that he was a rapist. It just doesn't work like that; but after the crime we are quick to demand those people are arrested, put those people on trial, and if they are found guilty, we are more than happy to put those people in prison.

You are right my wife is a stay at home mom and I make enough money to cover the cost of living our lifestyle with enough to save a little on the side. If either of us filed for divorce both of our standards of living would go down so dramatically it wouldn't be worth it. We are also both worth more alive to each other than dead. It's actually strange how easily we've settled into traditional roles with only a few exceptions.

She's trying to alienate you from those people for a reason or she's creating a toxic environment for a reason. What she's describing is peer pressure not rape. Rape happens when you have no vote in whether or not you participate. Her vote was defeated by her own self and although she didn't feel like having sex she withheld her vote on her own terms. Her partner was not made aware of her objecting internal dialogue. Basically she succumb to her own pressure to have sex for her own reasons and not him pressuring her. Edit: If that is rape then she's the only culpable person.

Self defence means that you believed that you were going to suffer injury or death. Yes it's wrong that somebody hit you but it doesn't mean you are free to destroy them. What's reasonable? Was she going to cause him injury or harm? Is he big enough to disable her without striking her? Could he of retreated? Was it a defensive strike or a strike in anger? Etc.

It's the correct charge. Only if you have ownership or guardianship over another person do you get to act without their consent and if you don't then respect their right to consent in everything you do. The reduction side is the only side that we can honestly control. If we could control a criminal's actions we would, but we can't, we can only separate them from us after the fact and juries made up of both men and woman do it often enough that there's no way a person could claim or society is tolerant towards sexual predators. They have dual functions one of which is sexual and the other is not sexual. Your penis allows you to evacuate your bladder but it also allows you to fapfapfapfap. There is no confusion between the two is there? Does pissing make you sexually aroused? Of course not. Your subconscious mind seems to understand the difference even if you choose not to. Tits, as you put them, have more than one function, one of which is sexual and the other is functional. Your penis has the same. Should you be charged with public indecency every time you go pee in a public washroom? Breast feeding a baby is not sexual it is providing nourishment to an infant that would otherwise die without it. It's not a sexual act and during that act breasts are not sexual. Trust me I've watched my wife feed my child; it's not sexual.

After two weeks of dating I doubt you can trust your partner enough to rely on them for birth control. Janet should use birth control or know her cycle and practice planned parenting especially if she's not inclined to have an abortion - condoms break.
