You didn't say it, but tell me you weren't thinking about them when you made this thread. Every day there is a new thread from a non-white guy, usually Indian, who complains how hard it is to date white women.

Its jarring for a girl if you've only ever acted friendly towards her and then suddenly ask her out. Absolutely. I figured that out a long time ago. Something else I learned is that female friends can pretend to show interest and play along till you try to kiss them and then they throw on the breaks.

Same here. I'm also short so it's really hard. Trying to date white women while you're a different ethnicity and short, that's going to be really really really hard.

I'm amazed at how many, "I'm Indian and I can't date white women" threads there are. Trying to date women is hard enough already. Focusing on white women while not being white is the Dark Souls of Dating.

Congrats on getting lucky! Personally I've asked out about 20 female friends and they all turned me down with some form of, "I don't like you that way." Lets be honest here, if being friends first and then asking her out had a good chance of success this sub would not exist nor would the whole concept of seduction.
/r/seduction23/09/22 01:14 PM

As crazy as it sounds, I'm the kind of guy who would actually prefer to be friends first. I would love to get to know somebody at work or college (when I was a student) or some other event where I can see her on a regular basis for a month or so before I even ask her out. Of course friends first absolutely does not work so here we are.

LOL! So in summary, women want a guy who has very little body fat (defined abs) with a decent amount of muscle. Average man body, 2,6,8,14 scores very low.

The vast majority of posts on this sub are from beginners. Frankly askseddit should be closed due to how little activity it has.

I'm in the gym 3x a week and I do cardio on the off days. I don't have the genetics to get ripped. I still put in the effort. I got some pretty good results but at this point only dudes have ever said anything. If you are an introvert you know that working on being social is exhausting. I still work on it. The point is that there is nothing physically about me that draws women to me, so I have to depend on my personality to get them interested. Since I'm now 40 and still single, that apparently …
/r/seduction14/09/22 10:31 PM

Stop being an ass. Why am I introverted? Ask God. Do you think people just choose their personality?
/r/seduction14/09/22 10:25 PM

I said it's fucking hard, not impossible. The OP pretty much says that it's my fault for struggling. That's the pile of shit I don't agree with. I didn't choose to be short. I didn't choose my facial bone structure or my personality.
/r/seduction14/09/22 10:24 PM

Try being average looking at 5'5 and see how well you do. Oh let's throw on being introverted as well. Get out of here saying that those things that hugely impact my dating life are my fault. If women are not physically attracted to you it's going to be fucking hard.

If you don't drink then it's fine. My personal rule is nobody under 21 because I want to have a drink with them. Just to sure that they aren't drinking either when you are with them and don't buy anything for them. That is not something you want to get in trouble for.

Heh 2—3 times a day, every day is my ideal and I'm sure it's going to be really hard to find a woman who wants it that much. Obviously they exist as you know, but they are pretty rare. A girl who only wants it 2-3 times a week would drive me insane.
/r/seduction05/09/22 04:31 AM

While it's not really realistic, I would love to have a semi-serious relationship with 2-3 girls at the same time. I want to have some stability and security, but also I doubt that I can find a woman that can truly match my sex drive. What it basically comes down to is that I never want to be turned down for sex. As much as people shit on the Morman's I can see a lot of great things in having sister wives. Aside from sex, it would be great to have different girlfriends for my hobbies, it's proba…

It only took to number 3 for me to stop reading OP, if what you’re saying is true then you’re most likely a real good looking dude. He admits it on his last point.

Talk to them like a normal person Occasionally throw in a flirtatious remark (keep it man to woman) These two are contradictory. You either talk to her like she's a woman you're interested in or you don't.

Actively having sex or casual sex does not disqualify a person from being single. It does in my book.
/r/seduction04/08/22 07:41 PM
1

The reason I used single in quotes, is because some women say they are single and are actively having sex with men. In my book they are not single. Hence, they are "single."
/r/seduction04/08/22 04:18 PM
2

What are you talking about? Did you reply to the wrong post? If you read my post you would see that I'm looking for a girl who is single and not currently sleeping with anyone. That's it.
/r/seduction04/08/22 04:06 PM
0

Every halfway decent looking woman has a few guy "friends" that want to sleep with her. Some girls sleep with those guys when they are single, some don't. Though putting it another way, I think it would be very difficult to find an average looking single woman under 40 who hasn't had sex in a month, who is not in prison or nun etc.
/r/seduction04/08/22 03:35 PM
1

I love the honesty, though it's depressing that it's the truth. The only reason an attractive woman is single is because she wants to be.
/r/seduction04/08/22 03:31 PM
5

Eh, I think it's unfortunately. When I'm looking for a girlfriend I don't want her to be "single" but currently hooking up with three dudes. And no I'm not looking for casual sex.

The mindset or the lifestyle? You cannot create the mindset, it has to be based on reality. The lifestyle can be created with work and luck.
/r/seduction01/08/22 05:19 PM

/r/seduction25/07/22 02:00 PM

People wearing headphones in the gym means that they want to work out listening to their own music. That's all. Anything else is your assumption unless you have data to back it up.
/r/seduction25/07/22 01:07 PM

And it's even better to approach "open" women : those with no airpods That said 99% of people are wearing headphones in the gym.

Of course women are visual. The key to understand is that they will swear up and down that they do not care about looks, that all they want is man who has a job and good manners. Don't fall for their lies.

Waiting for the woman to make the first move is a great way to stay single. Yes, women who like you make it easier. But you have to do something to make her interested. Just existing is not enough if you are not really good looking. And by all means, if a woman does express interest, go for her if she's within your minimum standards. The most important thing is to know when to give up.
/r/seduction24/07/22 12:01 AM

we're looking to party and that's all So what does looking to party mean? And of course it should be obvious that the guy has sex on his mind.

Would you really want a guy you like to try and make out with you when your friends are right there?
/r/seduction23/07/22 08:33 PM

Which is exactly what he meant of course. People no longer know what the PU terms mean and the women who come to this forum like Zoetic are always trying to make things sounds worse than they are.

Staying friends with someone in an unrequited feelings situation is soul destroying. Basically a constant reminder of how you're not 'good enough' whenever you see them, That's exactly it. Personally I struggle with the idea that I'm good enough to be close friends but not good enough to be the boyfriend. And then when she starts to date somebody else yeah, that's soul destroying. I had my last real female friend in 2018 and the above is exactly what happened.

Are you giving any advice or just stating your opinion?
/r/seduction23/07/22 03:00 PM

Why are people so terrified of the friendzone like it's something they can never get out of? Because for most men it is impossible to get out of the friendzone. Once you've been in it enough times or for long enough, you understand that it's something you don't want to experience again. Friends first hardly works in modern dating so it's almost always a dead end. BTW I would prefer to do the friends first route, but it's never happened for me.

This post is in essence why I stopped keeping male friends at age 21 After a while of having male friends in college, nearly all of them made a move on me at some point. This likely hurt them when I explained we had built a friendship and I was unable to see our interactions as suddenly romantic or sexual. I've been the guy in that situation many many many times. After being hurt by far too many women to remember I just decided to stop having platonic female friends. If I meet a cute cool girl a…

evidenced by this thread full of boys who always reply back instantly and expect a reply lol The boys reply back quickly because they aren't talking to anyone else, and they want sex. Repetition builds confidence. Remember that. That's a common misconception. Success builds confidence. Shaq attempted 11,252 free throws in his career. Do you think he was confident because of so many attempts? No way, he only made 52% of them. Jordan Poole had the highest free-throw percentage this season, at 92% so it's reasonable to say that he is more confident in his shooting than Shaq ever was. The goal of repetition is to have you success rate go up. If it does then you will become more c…

Many women use rejection as a litmus test for how a man will handle a breakup. It makes sense; ROFL No it does not. It's a really shitty test. You know why? Because if a guy is mature enough to gracefully handle the rejection, he's going to gracefully walk away! Does she expect to chase the guy down and then tell him that she will actually go out on with him and say that IT WAS ONLY A TEST? Red Flags all around.

/r/seduction12/05/22 08:56 PM

Ah OK that's how it happened. You got really lucky. I have no idea why but I've never met the friends of my lady friends. Whenever we hung out it was always just the two of us and it was like this for at least ten girls over the years. Heck I never even met any of my ex's friends when we were dating. It's almost like girls enjoy spending time with me but don't want other people to see me with them.
/r/seduction12/05/22 08:45 PM

I've met some of my best relationships because I got rejected by one girl and one of her friends was interested. How does that work out? Where her friends there when you approached a girl and one girl said no and another chimed in?
/r/seduction12/05/22 06:54 PM
3

Absolutely yes on doctors wanting to prescribe antidepressants. I had to see a few doctors to find one who would get me on T. I would say that lack of muscle growth when working out is a huge sign that something is wrong. I worked out regularly for most of my 20s and was really disappointed and thought I was a hard gainer. Now a couple of years of TRT I've got a much better body without having to change anything about my fitness routine or diet.
/r/seduction11/05/22 11:32 PM
4

Yup! I guess the moral of my story is get tested if you are concerned. There can be a variety of signs for low T. I just want to make the point to other men reading that may be concerned about their T levels, that having a normal to high drive doesn't necessarily mean that everything is fine. If you're concerned get tested.
/r/seduction11/05/22 11:11 PM
12

As someone who actually is on TRT, sex drive isn't really a good representation of testosterone levels. My sex drive has always been stupid high (like 4-5 times a day if she's down) and I thought that no way I could have low T levels with my drive because of what I read the common signs were. Then in my late 30s I got my levels tested because I had issues with mood stability, ability to focus and I just wasn't gaining muscle. When the results came in I had the T levels of a 70 year old man. My d…

I know your trying to help and I appreciate that. However this is the same advice that people always give regardless of their situation. Yup, it's generic advice that people give when they have no real idea what to say.
/r/seduction06/05/22 03:12 PM

Yes, women who like you make it easy for you. The problem is, what if you are the kind of guy that women aren't into? Then what? It gets tiring when the only thing you can do is walk away.
/r/seduction06/05/22 03:07 PM
35

And that guy isn't responding to her because he's getting blown by somebody hotter. The circle of life.
/r/seduction06/05/22 03:05 PM
5

Why do you call her your friend? Because we were friends. Is that hard to believe? Sometimes friends even hook up or start to date. Shocking I know. So she knew you were into her but she wasn’t into you and still kept you around? Pretty much. Eventually I gave up and we drifted apart.
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:48 PM

How do you approach women in a loud and packed club? In your experience are the all the same or is one environment easier to pick women up than the other.
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:42 PM

Thanks! So a bar being really loud is a bad thing. Does it matter how busy a place is? Do you prefer to go at certain times or is 10 pm no different than 12:30 am?
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:39 PM
1

Yup it's been very confusing for me. I think it comes down to the fact that I'm average looking and 5'5 so women blow off my obvious flirting attempts as nothing.
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:33 PM
6

It implies you were friends with someone and hid your true intentions and than suddenly revealed them. That's just something you are assuming. She absolutely knew that I was into her. This was our 3rd or 4th time spending time together and she was definitely comfortable with my company.
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:31 PM

but i keep coming back for more because i'd rather be hanging out around hot girls than ugly men in some general meetup somewhere Hah in the end I gave up because I felt like I was in a candy store and all the candy pins were sealed. In the end it got frustrating. If I get a GF again I would love to go dancing with her but I think I'm done trying to meet women at those places.
/r/seduction04/05/22 07:22 PM

Because?
/r/seduction04/05/22 12:22 PM

Liking a person does not mean you want to kiss a person. LOL now you're making me think of all the girls who said "I like you but not that way." I'll never forget the friend who would go bar hopping with me, come back to my place at 2 AM, snuggle with me on my couch and let me stroke her legs when she was wearing a skirt and still decline a kiss.
/r/seduction03/05/22 03:53 PM
54

Just one to point out that proximity can be a good sign, it's not always sign that they like you. I've had girls that let me put my arm around them whenever we sit down and they would snuggle with me and then always turn down a kiss ¯\(ツ)/¯

That kind of stuff requires high level social skills, especially with a girl you just met. Most people posting on this sub aren't going to be there.

You need to spend 5-10, minutes talking with them, and making sure you only ask like 2 questions max, the rest should be jokes anecdotes playful observations and statements. How are you supposed to make 2 questions last 5 minutes let alone 10?!

Haha I've also had a "date" like that where she brought her best guy friend. But she knew I wanted a date and brought him anyways.
/r/seduction29/04/22 03:23 PM

The small risk of her thinking you want to go as friends This has happened to me a few times. Granted I'm short and not that physically attractive so that probably makes women see me more as friendship material. And even then, you could make a friend who'll introduce you to her friends. Honestly I've never had a woman introduce me to her friends. It seems even more weird when you are interested in a specific woman, find out that she's not interested and then try to get their her friends instead.
/r/seduction29/04/22 01:58 PM

this is solid. but only assuming she finds you somewhat physically attractive to begin with. And if they don't find you physically attractive she may go along with you but think it's just as friends.

Good post! Also a date can be anything fun, hiking is a great first date. One problem I have recently experienced is that I have tried the whole "we should go on a hike" with a coworker I flirted with a couple of times and then ten minutes into the hike she tells me she's living with her "ex." So somehow I brought a woman onto a date who may not have known that she was on a date with me. She even gave me a full on boobs pressed against me hug when I walked over to her on the trail so I was very …

Might as well have written. Of course every guy should experience having abundance with women just as every guy should experience being rich. You don't have to explain why it's nice to be rich nor do you have to explain why it's nice to have plenty of women to choose from. The only actionable piece of advice in the whole thing you wrote is And you cannot achieve abundance without putting yourself out there. Everything else is fluff.

I appreciate the honesty. 5 is still average! I probably could have hooked up with a 4, but she was taller and heavier than me which is pretty much what I dislike the most in a woman.

Something I've repeatedly said. Online dating and apps is one of the worst things to happen to the average man. It makes dating women which was never easy in the first place into something very difficult. We'd all be better off if it no longer existed.

LOL never pay $100 (or anywhere close to that much) for a woman you aren't sleeping with.
/r/seduction25/04/22 07:35 PM

Like most things in life about why some people have X happen to them and others don't, it's because of luck. Good or bad luck. If you're short, below average in looks, not born into money, didn't develop a confident personality, have some random girl like you when you were a teenager, weren't raised by loving parents etc. All things that can effect if women are interested in you and none of them you have any control over.

I used to be pretty involved with Salsa and Swing dancing and it just didn't feel like a good place to meet women. I REALLY wish that it was. It's hard to have a conversation while dancing and women seem to not be looking for guys at all. Also partner dancing is so much harder for men than women! The worst is when a lesson has more men than women so you have to wait between rotations. To be fair, I did meet my ex girlfriend at a Salsa class in college. But I danced for many years after and wasn'…

It's simple. Let's think about this: there are 1000 men in a certain area. Not sure what's the actual ratio of men that do pay for Tinder, but let's say that 700 out of those 1000 pay for Tinder Gold/Platinum, I think this is more how it is 1,000 men using the app in an area. 400 are paying. 300 women using app. That's why online dating is a shitshow.

Since when the fuck is 5'9 short?! The average height in the United States is 5 feet 4 inches (162.56 centimeters) for women and 5 feet 9 inches (175.26 centimeters) for men And yes at that height being 110 you are super skinny. Heck that's thin for a girl. Put down the cigs and vape, and pick up some barbells.

The secret to any relationship (friends, F+. ONS, long-term-partner, colleagues, etc) is that you need to better your own mental state to a point, where you you are comfortable living forever alone. I disagree. Humans are not meant to be happy alone. We are a pair bonding species.

No, I mean they won't even tell you that they are not attracted. Women would rather give excuses why they are too busy for a date or they ar sick or they like a certain type of guy. They have tons of valid excuses and just won't come out and say they aren't interested.

I guess it comes down to using your best judgment. If a guy seems sketchy then it might not be a good idea to give a real reason. But if he seems like a good guy then don't lie or give him the runaround. Realistically it's not fair to treat a whole group of people one way because of one or two bad experiences.
/r/seduction04/04/22 11:16 PM

Yeah if you're 6'5 it's hard to judge how tall a man that much shorter than you is. I'm 5'5 and would personally love to be 5'8. At that height I wouldn't have to change anything at all about myself and suddenly be able to pull just because I wasn't short.
/r/seduction16/03/22 01:04 PM
11

Yup, I agree with you. I see it on a point scale. Average height 5'8 - 5'11 = 0 points. Tall 6'+ = +1 point Short, less than or equal to 5'7 = -1 point For most women it's fine if a guy has 0 points. Having other things is a nice bonus but not required. It's fine to be an average height normal dude. Tall guys have it super easy and just have to not screw up. Short guys are starting at -1 and they absolutely have to make up for that handicap with something. Being a "normal dude" is not enough. Th…

5'6 isn't short for an Asian guy tho it's pretty average. That's pretty much the reason when ever I give my height I also write it as 5'5 white guy. Because if I was Asian it's not a big deal. I'd be average height or slightly less. Then at that point I'd just go for Asian girls. But as a short white guy who is primarily interested in white girls, ho boy. White girls don't want short guys. So I tried going after Asian girls. They don't want short white guys. If an Asian girl is fine with a short…

5'8 doesn't count as short.
/r/seduction15/03/22 06:43 PM

There's also short guys who put in a ton of effort and yet nothing seems to work. So they complain.
/r/seduction15/03/22 06:42 PM

The difference is that average height men don't have to be any of the above simply because they are considered physically attractive. Short men have to be more.
/r/seduction15/03/22 06:30 PM
21

There a a few cheat codes that can help short guys get dates. Being in a band a sign of status/talent is one of them.
/r/seduction14/03/22 06:22 PM

Yup, I understand that. There is a meme what compares what guys think will happen when they get in shape and what actually happens. It's just guys giving compliments.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/22 03:15 AM
13

As a 5'5 average looking white guy who does every thing you mentioned and can't get a date to save my life I greatly disagree. I'm also in really good shape to the point that GUYS randomly make comments about it. Women on the other hand treat me like I'm wearing a Cloak of Invisibility. They are more than happy to be my friend of course. They just don't see me as a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/22 12:11 AM
1

Tried to make a move and got rejected. Story of my life. I've had a lot of female friends that that would always crack up at my jokes. All of them said some variation of "I like you as a friend" or whatever else they wanted to use to reject me.
/r/seduction13/03/22 12:02 AM

Looks are the absolute most important thing that women care about. Looks are so important that they are basically implied. If a woman says she likes personality or a sense of humor she means she likes those things on a good looking guy. Short chubby funny guys need not apply.
/r/seduction12/03/22 11:26 PM
8

The advice is good in theory, but it doesn't work when one has been alone for a long time. I forgot how many years it's been since I last kissed a woman and it's devastating to my mental health.
/r/seduction09/03/22 08:04 PM
1

Then my thought is that she wants to just have you as a friend. The best counter is when she invites you to a group hangout "counter" that you'd like to see her on a date. Eventually she'll catch on that you don't want to be friends.
/r/seduction09/03/22 12:22 AM
1

Wow the responses in the replies are super weird. If a girl refuses to be alone with you on a 2nd date it's a huge red flag. What that tells me is that she's not comfortable in being alone with you. I suggest sending her a message that you think she's cute and fun etc and you want to go on another date. Be sure to use the word date or she might think you want to hang out as friends.
/r/seduction08/03/22 08:53 PM

/r/seduction02/03/22 08:34 PM

There's a joke that's something like, what is something a man can wear to make him the most attractive to women. A wedding ring. For some reason many women are attracted to men who are already taken.
/r/seduction02/03/22 08:17 PM
2

The basic concept is, "If a woman likes you she'll make it easy for you." The goal of game is learn how recognize when she is interested and then not to turn her off. The hardest part though is the realization and acceptance that you can't make a woman like you. Honestly that's really depressing. As the author pointed out, very few women are going to be interested. It feels like the game is rigged.
/r/seduction01/03/22 12:13 AM
1

As someone who hasn't had sex in two or three years, I honestly can't remember, getting laid with two girls in four months would be amazing.
/r/seduction28/02/22 11:41 PM
4

Jeez, as a woman trying to get a guy to sleep with you is the easiest thing in world as long as you're halfway decent looking and he's not in relationship or gay. Honestly it's frustrating how much easier women have it.
/r/seduction28/02/22 04:26 AM
14

So then it all boils down to, "Keep approaching women till you find somebody who likes you. Few women will be interested, keep trying. Don't chase a woman who is not interested." Honestly that's pretty much the basics of seduction.
/r/seduction26/02/22 07:32 AM
2

It's called option paralysis. Having too many choices can actually lead to frustration and confusion.
/r/seduction25/02/22 10:37 PM
3

Completely agree with you. Dating apps and instagram have given women way too many options. You are literally one out of hundreds, possibly thousands of men who are interested. It's insane. If you screw up she'll drop you because there are so many men waiting for their chance.
/r/seduction25/02/22 07:36 PM
1

Short guys definitely understand it....
/r/seduction25/02/22 07:33 PM

/r/seduction10/02/22 10:43 PM

5'8 barely qualifies as short. At that point you are taller than 95% of women. Try being 5'4.
/r/seduction10/02/22 09:07 PM
3

I agree with almost everything you wrote. Height. Shouldn’t. Matter. If it does, move on. If you’re insecure, work on that, and come back to dating when you’re feeling more confident. Short men are insecure because of how women have treated them.
/r/seduction10/02/22 09:05 PM
-12

multiple inches taller than me. Why do you feel the need to post this? Do taller women have more value? Are they "better?" It's really odd that I keep seeing short men talk about their taller girlfriends as if they are a trophy. I'm amazed how many downvotes this got. I guess ya'll think that tall women are better than short women. Guess I'm weird for liking women a few inches shorter than me.
/r/seduction10/02/22 09:03 PM
8

Good looks and/or strong charisma/status can make up for the height handicap. If a short man is missing those he will struggle. On the other hand, an average height man doesn't need to have the extra pieces.
/r/seduction10/02/22 09:00 PM
3

For you it's not a big deal because nobody expects an Asian to be tall. 5'4 is basically average. I'm 5 inches shorter than the average white guy and I'm not good looking enough to make up for it. There really isn't any point in a girl choosing me over someone else which is why I struggle.
/r/seduction08/02/22 11:42 PM
2

For me no. Though I'm an average looking 5'5 white guy with an introverted personality. For me it's basically the Dark Souls of dating. I don't know if anything would work and I've been trying for a long time.

Nice going! I haven't said a thing yet to the couple of hot gym girls I want to talk to. It's just impossible to tell if a girl wants me to talk to her and I keep hearing about how gym girls really don't want men to approach them.
/r/seduction19/10/21 11:13 PM

Nah, you can't reject somebody when you aren't even aware they are interested.
/r/seduction19/10/21 11:10 PM

Luck. A girl probably liked them and made the first move or was very receptive. Once you get some experience it just builds on itself. The worst is to be that guy that doesn't talk to any girls throughout high school.

It's got nothing to do with anyone's looks, just look at the numbers. Assuming you don't leave the US you're down to 150 million women right there. Then apply the filters.
/r/seduction12/10/21 01:36 AM
9

You forgot the part where I said come across in your life. A woman in China who meets all the requirements is irrelevant because I'll never meet her. The average person does not interact with a million people not even if they are very outgoing. If anything the realistic number is a few hundred. Less if you don't want someone with kids.
/r/seduction11/10/21 08:47 PM
2

Yup so starting with 3 billion going through all the requirements including them being into you, that rules out like 90% of women, if not more.
/r/seduction11/10/21 07:01 PM
18

The point is that it's stupid to say "there billions of women in the world so don't worry." The odds of meeting an available, age appropriate single woman that you'd actually be interested in are extremely low, especially once you're out of college.
/r/seduction11/10/21 05:55 PM
24

And how many 3,904,727,342 are single and age appropriate? How many of that number would you come across in your life? How many of them would there be a mutual attraction?

Too much money. Try to negotiate.
/r/seduction11/10/21 12:46 AM

Yeah that is what I thought. If a short guy is one of the two, good looking or charismatic, he most likely won't struggle. If he's both it will be easy. Short guys who aren't as lucky, It'll be rough.
/r/seduction08/10/21 04:40 PM
3

Idk that hasn't been my experience at all as somebody who is 5'7" 5'7 is a the point where you're still short mostly OK if you've got other areas to make up for it. You need to be aware this type of insecurity hurts your chances way more than how tall you actually are. I don't talk about my height offline. I go after every girl I'm interested in. One of my best friends is 5'5" and has had sex with over a hundred girls easily. Any chance he happens to be really good looking and or charismatic?
/r/seduction08/10/21 01:05 AM
11

Just find shorter women. That's the most common advice given to short men. 95% of the women I've asked out have been shorter than me. Doesn't matter. Even 5'2 girls still want a guy 5'8+ The problem is that everybody likes short girls so they have plenty of options and no reason to settle for a short guy.
/r/seduction08/10/21 12:32 AM

I feel that, that’s partially how I see it. At least it’s better to be short and fit than short and utterly weak lol Exactly. That’s got to give some at least some increase on the 1-10 scale. If I wasn't fit I'd probably be a 4. As a decent looking fit short guy, I'm probably a 5. If I was 5'10 like my dad, I'd be an easy 7.
/r/seduction08/10/21 12:27 AM

Around 5'6 guys and girls are pretty close in height and it's not uncommon to have girls that are taller. When talking about height girls usually say they want a man who just is taller than them, but they really mean is that they have a height requirement. I also agree with your ethnicity post further down. There's actually nothing wrong with being 5'5 if you're Asian. That's normal. Asian girls will still be interested. As a 5'5 white guy, nobody wants me. White girls want an average height whi…

Absolutely. I'm at the gym right now feeling like my arms are going to fall off. For me it's a way to stay healthy and slow aging. Also since I'm already short, having a good amount of muscle on me removes the impression of being small and weak. It would be nice if guys weren't the only ones to comment on my fitness.

We were friends (coworkers) for a few weeks till the first time I expressed interest. The first time we hung out was getting drinks after work. Usually the only people who say that looks don't help are the good looking guys who do well with women. They like to say that the reason they have success is because they do XYZ and they just happen to be good looking as well. The most important truth about this game is that when a woman is attracted to you, she'll make it easy for you.

However, being a guy who knows how to establish boundaries, and is congruent within himself instead of a people pleaser, will make a guy more attractive in the eyes of most women. Knowing how to establish boundaries and not being a people pleaser is a neutral thing. It doesn't make you attractive. But not being able to establish boundaries is unattractive. It's how women aren't going to be interested in you because you brush your teeth, but if you don't they will be turned off. If a guy does not…

No More Mr. Nice Guy, People keep recommending this book but I found it to be completely unrelated to dating. The target audience for No More Mr. Nice Guy is men who are constantly letting people (especially their girlfriend/wife) walk all over him. It's basically about how to say no. It will not help you attract women. It might help you in a relationship if you are normally a pushover.

CARD is the Center for Autism and Related Disorders. Going to therapy through them isn't exactly the place to go for dating advice. And no, basic social skills aren't the problem. Trying to attract and date women is difficult on its own which is why this sub even exists. Trying to do it with high-functioning autism is like the Dark Souls of dating.

That's easy to say if you're getting laid. Try going without sex involuntarly for a year and see how confident you are.
/r/seduction20/09/21 11:15 PM

Exactly. Few people admit that being short is a disadvantage. People always have an example that their really good looking, outgoing friend who is short can get girls. What they fail to understand is that being good looking and outgoing is making up for the handicap of being short.
/r/seduction20/09/21 11:11 PM
1

The problem for most short guys is not that the woman is taller. I'm 5'5 and 95% of the women I've asked out have been shorter than me. Women just aren't attracted to short men, and it doesn't matter who is taller.
/r/seduction20/09/21 11:04 PM

That's the problem. Tall guys should reject the short girls so the short guys have a chance with somebody.
/r/seduction20/09/21 10:50 PM

The fact that you would only match with guys a foot or more taller means that you are shallow. Even more so if you were getting along great then he tells you his real height and you block him.

Wow the outgoing guy with above average looks gets girls! Shock and awe.
/r/seduction20/09/21 10:42 PM

That's kind of surprising. That said, women are more likely to approach a man they are attracted to if they approach anyone at all.
/r/seduction17/09/21 06:17 PM
4

You were probably turning off the women who were interested in you because of your insecurity. So for you to get women all you had to do was stop being so insecure. Because they were already attracted. With other guys who aren't as physically blessed, "just stop doing X" isn't going to be enough to get women. BTW at 6'4 normal height guys are short to you.
/r/seduction17/09/21 06:14 PM
16

There really should be a dating/seduction forum for short men. 90% of the advice out there just isn't going to work for us. For reference I'm 5'5 and pretty muscular. Women do not approach me.
/r/seduction17/09/21 12:21 PM

How tall are you? Would you consider yourself good looking?
/r/seduction17/09/21 12:17 PM

So if you're a 5'5" dude just find yourself a 5'0" woman. How common are women that are 5' or under? There is a reason why really tall women frequently end up with men shorter than them.
/r/seduction11/09/21 03:22 AM

"The problem is that short women don't prefer short men" ≠ "short women prefer tall men" Making it more simplistic Saying that I do not prefer dogs does not mean that I prefer cats.

How can you boost your charisma when you're introverted and socially awkward? I'm fairly intelligent and pretty funny but actually getting women to like me as more than a friend just seems impossible. I'm short and average looking so my personality is the only thing I have to attract women so it feels like I'm banging my head against a wall.
/r/seduction11/09/21 12:24 AM

that's a complete and total generalization lmao It's absolutely not. It's extremely uncommon to find a short woman who says she only dates guys 5'7 or under. The vast majority of short woman will and have dated men of all heights.

Women would never complain about you being short unless she was rude and/or stupid. What's far more likely is that they will just reject for any number of fake reasons. And yes being good looking and/or charismatic can overcome the handicap of being short. The real trouble is when you aren't either of those. If your goal is just to sleep with a lot of girls and you don't care that you're only having sex one time a week, then escorts are the better option. If you want to have a lot of sex then having one or two girls you can regularly sleep with is the better choice. Personally I want to have sex with a hot girl a least four times a week. Paying for an escort four days a week is simply too expensive.

I disagree. The phrase doesn't say, "Treat all women the same. Except for the women you're interested in, flirt with them." The goal of "treat women like people" is to remove any sexual undertones when interacting with women. And of course it's terrible advice.
/r/seduction04/09/21 10:07 PM

I completely agree and it's frustrating that I've repeatedly had good friendships with women fall apart because I developed feelings for them and they weren't reciprocated. I've since given up on making friends with women. Only leads to pain.

I hear guys make self-deprecating height jokes all the time man. You shouldn't assume that I'm making those kind of jokes about myself because other guys do it. Regardless those guys are only hurting themselves. Self-deprecating jokes are better suited for stand-up. Nobody wants a lovable loser.

Being 5 inches shorter than average is not a "a little on the short side." but being insecure about your height in any way is a bigger turn off than the height itself. And how do you think that insecurity is shown in real life? Do you think I talk about height in anyway whatsoever with women? Of course not. Nobody would want to hear that. I want to get pussy, not sympathy.

I think the author means they have it harder in Western countries. Of course Indians and Asians aren't having problems meeting women in their home country/place of origin. Though an Indian guy in the US trying to date white women is probably going to struggle.
/r/seduction03/09/21 10:36 PM
16

The thing is as a 5'5 guy, it's just bonkers hearing guys who are 6' try to claim that their height doesn't help them. Putting it another way, an average guys starts at 0. A tall guy gets +1. A short guy gets -1 That means that a tall guy has a slightly easier time than attracting woman than an average guy. Though from the short man's point of view, the tall guy has it so much easier.
/r/seduction03/09/21 10:33 PM

Do you mean approaching her when she's left the locker room and on her way out the door? I'm not sure how else I could know when she's getting ready to leave. Where is this happening? Aside from bars, it happens far more often in locations where women are in one place for an extended period of time, for example if they have any customer facing job. Cashiers, waitress, bar tender. They're also asked out a lot in classes and office jobs. Places where there are also men. A lot of women aren't aware at how subtle some guys are in an approach and think an interaction is more innocent then it really is. I know a lot of girls say “don’t approach girls at the…

/r/seduction03/09/21 03:06 PM

That's the problem. Almost nobody knows where women would actually want to be approached. Not even bars are that good of a place. Women will tell a guy "You're fat but it's OK because you're tall." Short man don't get such courtesies. We have to be perfect. When you say good looking face, you really mean model quality looks. And zero of the two times I've given a woman my number I heard from her. On the other hand 100% of the time a woman has given me her number she's replied back to me.

That's lame.

Not sure why you're downvoted. Giving a woman your number is the same thing as writing it down then throwing it in the trash.

You’re overthinking. Thanks, yeah I am. In my scenario just yesterday, I was outside. I saw two new girls move upstairs. One of them waved to me. I waved back. She came back, and introduced herself. In that situation she did 95% of the work.

Yeah I know that that it wouldn't be welcome. That's why I was trying to think of an opener. I've been going to this gym for over a year and it's the first time I've seen her. So I guess I could ask if she's new, then she might say she just moved her etc. Though just straight up asking if she's new here is a weird way to start a conversation.

You can use non-verbal queues to gauge her reception and if it's not negative you have to start talking straight away. If anything it seemed like she was ignoring me. Which seems to be normal these days where women don't acknowledge random men. Eye contact is very rare. Which means I need to approach and open a woman who has not acknowledged my presence. That's the hard part.

Opening with a compliment seems super weird. What is a good opener besides a corny joke? For 5 minutes I was trying to think of something to say to the gym girl. The other thing that came to my mind was giving her some workout tips on the exercise she was doing, though I highly doubt that something unsolicited like that would be welcome.

I've been in way too many friendzone situations in my life. My rule now if I somehow find myself in one is to make one or two super obvious attempts to show interest, like straight up trying to kiss her. If she rejects me then I move on and drop contact.

That's why it's goofy.

So it seems like women are simply terrified of men. It's as if acknowledging a man invites him to abuse her. You'd think this is the sort of behavior expected in Afghanistan not in the Western world.

I think in the modern world women in general don’t want any interactions or contact with men they don’t know. That's kind of goofy because women have never been safer than they are right now.

Years ago I tried to go to bars with a female friend hoping that she would help me meet women. In the end the girls we interacted with were more interested in her than in me.

*Results not guaranteed. I've been lifting for years and interest from women has not increased. I've gone from a skinny-fat short guy to a fit short guy. Every now and then I get random comments from guys. Women haven't seemed to notice.

I feel the same way pretty often at the gym. I'm working out and I see a hot fit girl and then just get frustrated because she exists and "I know" that she will never be interested in me. Yes it's low self-esteem, feelings of insecurity, lack of confidence etc.

If a man is good looking and/or very confident height isn't going to affect him that much. If a man is average looking or below and a little shy and not that confident, I'm sorry. It's going to be rough.

News flash, people need sex and affection to be happy. It's very common and normal for people not getting those to feel that life is unfair.

Maybe the other guys got attention because they were really good looking?

Yup. Considering I'd want to date/sleep with anyone halfway decent looking it pretty much rules out having girls as friends. The only exception is ugly girls, and why would I want to be their friend in the first place?

LOL this is so goofy. What kind of guy falls asleep in a girls bed and doesn't do anything when she wants to.

I wish approaching at the gym was more acceptable. I'm a pretty fit guy and put a lot of effort into working out. Guess what, I want to date fit women, and what place has more fit women than the gym? It's also really distracting when some girls are in super tight clothes with low cut tops.

If you're lonely, then why ghost when the guy tries to make plans to meet up?

Unfortunately that's not a good sign. Try again. Then I'd say to drop her unless you just want her as a friend. Don't reach out to her. IF she contacts you asking what happened then tell her you like her.

I have one but we talk good in msgs. Hanged out alot. No sex. What do you think of it? Sounds like a friend. Ps i do want it to have some sex Then make a move. Go on a date, try to kiss her. See what happens.

I agree. It's listed as a basic need on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. On some charts it's listed twice.

ROFL! Honestly I should be happier now since I have most of the basics down. I just really enjoy sex and admittingly put a lot of value on it.

The pandemic is winding down so no, I haven't been going out trying to meet women. That's something I'm going to start doing in the very near fuure. But the whole point of my post is that sex did make me happy. Back when I was unemployed and crashing on a friends couch I was still happier than now when I have a stable job and a nice apartment simply because I was having regular sex. I wasn't even that attracted to her and I didn't like her enough for a relationship. Just the sex was enough.
/r/seduction06/07/21 03:41 PM

Yeah usually women are aggressive like that because they aren't attractive. I've experienced the same thing.
/r/seduction06/07/21 03:11 PM

Unexpected? It was almost a full year of regular sex with her. If anything it was expected dopamine hits. Now I'm not getting any hits.

if you just think of women as sex things, we're people. Only sex things, no. But women have to be thought of "and as" sex things. Otherwise interactions will never go beyond friendship. Very few women will turn things sexual, it's up to the men 99.9% of the time to start it off the first time.

Many years ago I had graduated college about 7 months prior. I couldn't find a job and was forced to lose my apartment because I was no longer eligible for student loans. I was faced with the prospect of having to move back in with my parents because I couldn't support myself. Thankfully a female friend with benefits offered to let me live with her for a few months, sleeping on her couch. Eventually I found a job paying very little money and I had an hour commute. We were having sex basically ev…

July 4th 2013 was the night my ex girlfriend and I had sex for the first time. 6 months later she dumped me and I've hated every one since then. Tonight is no exception.
