Lmao. My ex called me after filing asking if I was going to roll up to her location on a highway somewhere to help with her car. What? No. Sounds like a personal problem, bud. Needless to say, she was not happy with that response.

Be me: Driving home from work, had a relatively good day. Get a phone call from my mom. My mother asks me why my ex-wife is calling my sister and asking the both of them to “keep me busy” while she takes my daughter back to her home state. Needless to say I called a lawyer and filed within a week.

My ex wife told my job that I have “government programs to access her text messages and e-mails”. Even if I did, do you think I’d be wasting that on you? I couldn’t care less about your personal life. I’d be spying on my neighbor; I know you you’re using something special on your lawn Jim. I will find out what it is.

Lol. Even simple things with my ex were apparently too much to handle. Like getting the electric and utilities bills her name after given a months notice AND me telling her step by step how to do it. First court appearance? “He turned off the electricity and water and never said anything to me”. Right.

Background: Active Army for a little over 10 years, actually closer to 11 at this point. Honestly, there’s really not much your CoC can do. You’re not beating her, I assume you’re providing all the mandatory things that need to be provided or you have some sort of legal agreement/mandate from a judge in lieu of the regulation. I’m almost at the finish line in my divorce and my ex wife tried the FAP route, but was told to eat shit because there was no proof to back up her lies (I know FAP usually…

Nah. Unless you’re doing a bunch of horrible things to your child then there will be a lot the goes into decisions about your child and custody. My state has a whole extensive checklist the judge has to go by verbatim. I’m sure each state has their own version of that. If I were you I would check if your state is a one party consent state and just record everything. Then when she eventually files off the wall the shit you have a recording to prove it wrong.

Dude to be honest, one thing I’ve learned is to just ignore her. Ignore whatever ridiculous things she says or does, the fact of the matter is, is once you file there’s not too much happening without the judge saying so unless you two agree to it mutually. Case in point, I just ignored my ex wife into oblivion and now we’re doing what I wanted to do regarding an issue. She even filed an enforcement thing with the judge and I guess he either ignored her as well (lmao) or just hasn’t gotten to it …

Solid advice, I’ve already brought that up and he said he’s going to push hard for it. Thanks for your reply’s man, appreciate it.

So most of that has been done. A request to produce went out and she has 2 weeks left to comply. An interrogative is going out next. I imagine if she doesn’t comply with either it won’t be a good day for her. I guess my biggest question is, once we prove she’s a liar and has basically caused me to keep paying all this crap when she’s capable (not the story she painted at last hearing prior to us having documents) is it reasonable to assume the judge will take that into consideration when it come…
