Was supposed to have my final divorce hearing yesterday, but apparently the judge was “deathly ill”. Coincidentally, he also spent last week in Las Vegas.

Now I have to hope we can do it at the end of this month, or at least early next month. Apparently STBX is asking for end of March, which is insane.

I’ve waited this long, so I’m not upset about it being pushed, I’m more upset that I travelled and spent money for it just to get a text from my lawyer that morning explaining the situation.

Infuriating. I’m pretty over this and just want to go on in life. I’m trying to get my daughter, and I know that’s an uphill battle, but her mom isn’t a good parent by any stretch; just using her for child support money. I’m not holding my breath, but I’m hoping for the best. My lawyer is great, and has been working with me financially which is a God send.

I wish none of you the ass pain of having your final hearing cancelled the day of. What a waste of time and money.
