I gotta say they do stink up a home and that’s part of the reason I’m not interested in a dog. I don’t have time for one, either. Edit: STINK, not drink.

Thanks, dude. My post came off as bitchy and whiny and it probably is exactly that. I'm fortunate in a lot of ways. I'm just trying to wrangle with the reality that while I have a lot going in the way of looks and money that social proof is an absolutely key part of a sex life. And mine has evaporated. Having trouble getting used to it, even after years of decline.

I work between 48 and 60 hours a week, hard and demanding labor. It wears me completely out by the end of the workweek. I think it has even started taken a toll on my testosterone level. I don't lift anymore and since I work alone I don't socialize too much with my coworkers. My routine outside of work consists of trying to prepare for the next workweek. I rarely go out and have fun anymore. I'd quit if the money weren't so good and I had an entrepreneurial flare, or at least some other marketab…

Hahahah.. “vegan diet.” I eat mostly plants and my thing is just fine, harder than ever, I’d say. Guess I’m a sexual predator.

When I think back to the relationships that have come and gone in my life I realize I that I miss their friendship and laughter more than the sex, almost always. But I'm my own best friend now and it has helped me immensely to see myself in that way. Validation comes and goes, contentment is lasting. Having both the good and the bad memories of the past are important but nothing can compare to self-fullfilment and contentment.

What in the hell did I just watch? Scary music and all. Since CNN never sensationalizes the news I guess I hate women and voted for Donald Trump now. smh

And because the woman is now leading the relationship, the deep-seated insecurity she feels due to being with a weak man drives her to other men much more easily. I remember talking with my dad one time about this very thing. I could tell he knew what I was getting at when the light practically came on over his head. It was as if he hadn’t thought about it in a long time but knew the concepts innately. He was weak in their relationship and my mother must have sensed it and did what she had to do…

Instead of working on themselves I see so many guys cater to their wives or girlfriends and let them get away with so much bullshit. It's unbelievable. I just nod and smirk when they're telling me their horror stories and shake my head when the conversation is over. "She spends all my money" "She goes out till 3am and acts shady when she gets home" "We're going to her parents for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year because she threw a fit" Unbelievable. I want to tell them to stand up for thems…

I make almost $7500 a month and save $2000 a month. It can be done. My retirement account is up 13% for the year so far. You’ve never laughed so hard?

Can't divest the sex from the need for home and a relationship. Tell that to my miserable married friends.

Men who don't sleep well and can't get to sleep don't work hard enough physically day to day. Get your ass into overdrive and do physical labor or do more at the gym. Ever since I started doing a high stress but highly demanding job I sleep almost perfectly.

Keep in mind that these are girls we're talking about here. 3 weeks? She's leading with hormones and those change over the course of the month. She might lose interest. She might just be horny right now.

The 'hard thing' I was referring to was dealing directly with management and leveraging my union power. Unfortunately comes with some side effects, though, without getting into the weeds of it all. My financial goals are all laid out. I'm 32 and energetic. I just really miss those hours in the evening. It is a sacrifice and it's worth it, though. Eye on the prize.

That's some foul tasting medicine for me. I like my job. It's rewarding and will soon be a six figure career. I do need to do the hard thing, though, you're right. Thanks for the input.

They come and go like buses. Oh I like that. And I completely agree, I am number one in my life. Breaking through the sad serial monogamy cycle. My money I earn is my own. Women are starting to be a complement to my life and not at the center. As far as a break on the horizon at my job... summertime usually slows down a little. I'd really like to cut back to about 50 hours a week. I have 3 weeks of scheduled vacation this year. Thinking about using one to spend 4 days on a beach in Florida or so…

Everybody serves somebody. I work over 55 hours a week at my job. I'm productive. I make good money and save a lot of it. My future is bright if I stay on this trajectory, it's hard work that pulls you out of the mud. You've got to have a better mentality about work.
