Own Your Shit Weekly - January 07, 2025I am thinking cutting or at least a recomp makes the most sense for now too, once the body fat hits the 20s it is too much for me. I track my macros and cutting has never been as hard for me as gaining muscle is. The delta on my single and duos compared to 5x5 is massive (to me). For example, on a max weight set of deadlift I can get two reps at 365 but I'm completely gassed. On my 5x5 set 235 is easy for the first 3 sets and hard on the last two sets. Edit: Forgot to ask on the forget TWOTSM - … | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/01/25 09:27 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - January 07, 2025OYS #1 Stats: 35 years old, 2 kids w/ SAHM married 10 years, 5'8", 173lbs, 23% BF Lifts: BP: 145lbs 5x5, Row: 155lbs 5x5, DL: 235lbs 5x5, Squat: 185lbs 5x5 Reading: Starting NMMNG, Finished: MMSLP, TWOTSM. I just finished TWOTSM and the biggest takeaways (for me) are to live in the moment, a better understanding of masculine vs feminine, and that a man's purpose and mission will change as he completes one mission and moves to the next. Living in the now is the most important for me at the moment… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 07/01/25 03:59 PM
Validation CalibrationThanks, I will take a look at those. I find I get super interested in learning and doing new things and go too hard for about 6 months and interest wanes. Probably a bit of balance would help as well. | /r/askMRP | 02/01/25 06:28 AM

Validation CalibrationSo when she initiates, you are suggesting to turn her down if I wouldn’t have initiated anyway? I’m not complaining about her initiating it is almost always enjoyable. Validation seeking in other aspects mostly revolve around being too agreeable and deferring decisions to the group. I need to stand my ground more firmly and trust my opinions. | /r/askMRP | 02/01/25 04:30 AM
Validation CalibrationThank you. Lot of this hits home. | /r/askMRP | 01/01/25 11:54 PM
Validation CalibrationThanks, I have read WISNIFG but it was early in my journey. I will revisit it. | /r/askMRP | 01/01/25 11:47 PM
Validation CalibrationYes, I need to find purpose and overall become more confident/stop seeking approval or validation. Just feel lost on where to start. | /r/askMRP | 01/01/25 10:37 PM
Validation CalibrationAny helpful books or resources to help find that? | /r/askMRP | 01/01/25 10:36 PM
