[30F] with [40M] feeling checked out after years of imbalance and broken trust. Do I try again or prepare to leave? That’s true, I didn’t consider moving out could be more of a time to step back and think things over rather than an ultimatum. I want to spend with life with him..but could not with who he is right now | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/03/26 02:58 AM
[30F] with [40M] feeling checked out after years of imbalance and broken trust. Do I try again or prepare to leave?Yes I agree it seems shitty to not tell him. I did say that I was disconnected and at the end of what I could handle, but since he fell short of promises it sounds like I need to let him know that I am now seriously thinking about leaving. Thanks for your input | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/03/26 12:23 AM

Do Men need to improve if Women assume the worst regardless? You shouldn’t better yourself for women. You should better yourself for yourself. You are right that there are women that will assume the worse and look down regardless. Bettering yourself will help you hold your own standards high enough to find ones who see you for you. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/11/25 02:47 AM
Men in relationships with women watch porn for two reasonsNo judgement, and I hear you! I guess my point was just that, with how normalized porn has become, what might look like laziness from the outside might actually be an addiction too. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/11/25 07:07 AM
Men in relationships with women watch porn for two reasonsI think porn addiction is more prevalent than we think… My bf has struggled with turning to porn despite my sex drive being higher than his / always being open when he wants something. He said he thinks I’m sexier than ever, and I can really only take his word on it When he was young, he would use porn as a way to deal with difficult emotions. From what I understand, guys weren’t really taught healthy ways to handle their emotions so this became an easy outlet that was also driven by teen hormon… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/11/25 12:42 AM
| – | People who obsess about men "objectifying women" or "feeling a sense of ownership" over them are overexaggerating things on a semantic level.Yeah unfortunately they were not present and it led to me getting hurt a lot. It is what it is! | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/11/25 02:36 AM |
If a Younger Woman With an Older Man Is “After His Money,” Then an Older Woman Should Be Even MoreI think it depends on how attractive the man is. A fit, attractive 25 year old woman with an overweight, unkempt man is going to make people wonder what she sees in him. If he wasn’t providing financial security it’s not likely she would have been interested. I was 24 when I met my bf at 34, so not as big an age gap. But he was (is) also gorgeous so I doubt anyone ever looked at us and thought, yeah that’s a transaction. But 40yo with 40yo, there is a lot more baggage to sift through. I would th… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 14/11/25 10:37 PM
Women are obligated to “fix” male loneliness by dating/sleeping with lonely men. There is without a doubt a problem where (some) men are facing loneliness. Forcing women to “solve” this issue for them is wrong, but denying this issue exists when men are saying it’s true from their experience helps no one. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/11/25 12:17 AM
People who obsess about men "objectifying women" or "feeling a sense of ownership" over them are overexaggerating things on a semantic level.Exactly. A healthy person doesn’t view their partner’s desire for fidelity as controlling. If it feels that way, it usually means boundaries weren’t clearly communicated. To OOP: When I was 14, I dated a senior who told me I wasn’t allowed to say no to him. He degraded me for not wanting to do sexual things with him, for wearing running shorts, messaging my teacher-assigned male project partner about the assignment, all sorts of other stuff. In college, I gave my number to a guy who seemed sweet… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/11/25 12:04 AM
Women not being able to get and stay in good-quality relationships is embarrassingMaybe easier for the charismatic men with presence, but honestly I don’t understand the point of trying to claim who has it worse. Both genders have tough things they have to face, whether the other group at large wants to admit it or not. OOPs post is tired tho and glosses over the female experience in dating. I would be bitter too if I spent zero time empathizing with others. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/11/25 02:21 AM
How did RP help you?Basically if you’ve properly vetted a man / masc person, you need to trust him and let him lead. But, it’s also your job as woman / feminine to “report what’s going on with the ship” as they say. So you need to bring him your problems, then trust they will be fixed. You don’t turn a blind eye to how things are progressing. If you’ve vetted properly he’ll rise to it, if he drags his feet it’s time to dig in to self care, self improvement and re-evaluation. Maybe theres stuff to fix on your end, m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/25 07:07 PM
How did RP help you?I started reading about the RPW concepts about 7 years ago, while I was in a relationship with a guy who had mostly feminine/ beta traits. It didn’t match my desires at all. I was working, paying for everything, AND taking care of the house. I was both roles while he smoked and played video games. I was miserable and fat and angry, and resented tf out of him. (Don’t worry, I know I had a role in it too, not blaming just explaining). Anyway - through RPW I learned more about my femininity, what i… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/25 06:08 PM
How did you get into a male-led relationship?I think there are plenty of non-religious leaders out there (not arguing just sort of continuing your topic!). Vetting a male to make sure he is kind, respectful to those “beneath” him (like waitstaff), and shows a natural urge to protect you (offering his coat, his hand, opening doors) are great initial indicators that with a complementary feminine approach from his partner he will naturally fall into that role. Not always of course, and there is more vetting to do that’s just a general idea! | /r/RedPillWomen | 18/08/25 10:01 PM
| – | Don’t Underestimate Good Hygiene.I’ve run into this a lot so I’m not sure..I like to think I have normal taste but I’m also into big guys, weight unimportant. They just tend to be sweaty and sort of unaware that their breath does crazy stuff after eating certain foods. I also grew up in an ag down so obviously a lot of farmers kids and th smells that come with it. So I agree with OP…just being groomed is a top need. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/25 07:08 PM |
| – | Sex is a need, and men are losing today because they are not needed, which is a result of the Industrial Revolution.I very much agree with your points. I do feel like there needs to be a bigger conversation in women’s spaces regarding the importance of sex for men and women’s ability to gatekeep it (generally). I feel we can talk very openly about men’s lack of emotional intimacy without repercussion, and I would feel no moral dilemma asking my boyfriend for more emotional connection, or leave to find a situation that did have emotional connection if I couldn’t get it. It’s that important to me, I would have … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/08/25 06:55 PM |

How do I [30F] tell if my BF [40M] is growing and giving me his best or manipulating me?Thank you so much for your thoughtful response! This has given me a lot to think about. | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/08/25 02:05 AM
How do I [30F] tell if my BF [40M] is growing and giving me his best or manipulating me?That’s definitely what I would like! But sometimes it feels like we’re talking in a different language, I struggle to feel heard and he takes most anything remotely negative as an attack. That’s why I was hoping for counseling, because I don’t quite know how to be obedient and hold boundaries. | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/08/25 01:35 AM
How do I [30F] tell if my BF [40M] is growing and giving me his best or manipulating me?What does he do for you/provide for you? He pays rent, shared bills, for food and any shared goods (tp, cleaning supplies, etc.). I only pay for bills and things that are mine alone (insurance, clothing, etc.) He prefers to cook and handles all responsibilities regarding his children except cleaning (he recently took over their laundry, I was doing it prior). I take care of the house and his laundry. I also babysit a couple days a week so he can work out. I essentially do all the trad woman role… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/08/25 12:33 AM
