Thank you for each one of your responses. I have been having extreme pain in my head today so it is hard for me to actively respond here. I would also like to mention that he has isolated me from all my friends at college (we study in the same one) my male friends openly criticized him ever since i started dating him and I defended him and eventually distanced myself from them, out of respect for my partner. He stayed with me all the time too when I was supposed to hang out witb my female friend…

I just googled gaslighting and OMG he's been doing it for so long! All our arguments end up with him stating that he didn't mean it that way and if he did he said it as a joke and if he meant it seriously i should not be hurt by the truth and stop overreacting. Thank you for supporting and appreciating my effort, I'm trying very hard to get things in control. It means a lot. Thank you, your advice was very helpful.

I can't help but feel the same way.

I tried to gain fast by excessive eating last few months and it only made my disease worse since it's a digestive issue. My sister adviced me to drink spoonfuls of oil each day (which is LETHAL for my health) stating that it may not improve my health but atleast improve my aesthetic value. It hurts when EVERY single person who is supposed to support you during such times ends up behaving like this. I can't help but feel like it's my fault or something for feeling this way.

It breaks my heart to accept this but I would stick to following you queens' advices.

Anytime he does something hurtful like this he stops responding that day and comes back literally the next day acting as if nothing happened and when I refer back to what hurt me he says he likes to have a new start everyday and I should not remain in the past.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
