If they value a random girl's attention over your success, they aren't your friends. Find yourself some friends that want you to thrive.

Find other friends. People that tear you down aren't your friend.

I still disagree. In saying it's a little weird, you acknowledge the mainstream thinking pattern and say she got enough of your attention for you to make an exception. "I know it's sorta weird and I don't normally do this, but you look pretty today and I wanted to say hi. So. Hi. My name is SailingtoPhilly." Does wonders. Acknowledging the weirdness makes it less intrusive.

Bullshit. Acknowledging the weirdness of the situation shows you can read social cues. You don't say you're weird. You say the situation is weird. Also not a single girl will sleep with you because of the words you say in the first 5 seconds of the interaction.

What. That's exactly what I said. Don't think about it too much, just keep track of where she is in the stage of "getting attracted", but do what feels good.

Eh. I know what you mean, but I think people just misunderstand it, rather than it being bad advice. People use it as an excuse not to have to better themselves. But if you put effort into being the best version of yourself, the advice has merit imo.

When you feel like you can kiss her, you coulda kissed her 5 minutes earlier. Don't overthink it. Whatever feels right is the way to go.

I do agree to some extent, I just think there's more nuance to something like a personality. I don't want to be stereotyped as a partying, hakuna matata, outgoing, optimistic guy. There's plenty of instances when that's just not me. I like playing video games. There's nothing wrong with that. I have depressed periods as well. There's nothing wrong with that either. It's natural. Personality is nuanced, not stereotypical. The unique parts of a person tend to be the most interesting and engaging p…

It's not about being quirky. It's about being yourself. You don't have to portray yourself as quirky, but everyone likes other stuff and conforming to a stereotype actually kills your game a little bit from that perspective. On top of that, it's a lot harder to stay happy when you can't fully express yourself.

Don't try to illicit a response from the girl, but when she responds, take note of it. As in. Try to enjoy yourself and not think too much, but do keep track of how the girl is feeling. It ain't rocket science. According to nature, you're literally made for this :)

I just think learning any 2nd language for fun, especially one as hard as Chinese, is gonna drop some panties if you spin it right

I was like you. You're going about it all wrong. First of all, you need to fix your mindset. There's no such thing as "I could never do that." You could. You just haven't found the balls to do it. Second, your friends are right when it comes to game in college. You don't wanna be the weird guy that talks to all the pretty girls. Social pressure is still a thing in college. Outside of it, game is hugely different. Third, "approaching a couple of girls" is not enough to actually get good at it. Yo…

Don't think, do. Thinking makes you be in your head. Which gives the girl the impression you're not really engaged in the date. Which is a big turnoff. Just do w/e you like/need to do

Exploring the city. Also, find yourself a pool (as in billiards) bar and befriend the bartenders. Easy way to initiate kino and get social proof.

This. I spent the better part of 2 years searching. So far I've met a grand total of 2 girls. One of which moved back home on the other side of the world a week later. The other one has been my gf for the past year. Getting girls is reasonably easy. Getting a nice gf is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Looks don't matter all that much. I'm pretty sure you're trying too hard to be liked. Nice and sweet doesn't cut it when learning the dating game man. Girls are attracted to emotions. So give them emotions. Good ones and bad ones. Don't try to be liked. Aim for love and hate.

I honestly believe that certain PUA's actually preach that though. I'm a big fan of RSD on that part, as they really work from inner game I feel.

I understand where you're coming from, I've had the same problem quite a few times. I think it really works best if you don't text her at all. It's only 3 weeks man. And seriously, you need to meet other women as well. You can't fake abundance.

Well, from this video, I can only take away that this person, who calls himself a guru, clearly isn't even close to be qualified to do so. He's got the theory right though, it's all about self-improvement. But he's preaching stuff he hasn't even implemented himself yet. The text messages were pretty fucking cringey. If the comments on the site are pretty standard on anything concerning pickup entering the mainstream, it just goes to show how warped modern day society is on it.

3 weeks isn't all that long. Honestly I wouldn't text her till the day before, confirming the date. In the meantime, keep approaching other people.

297 dollars. For me it was 270 euros. Black Friday fuck yes. It costs quite a lot but I think it's worth it.

I think you're correct in the assumption that everyone needs to find one who resonates with them. For me it's Todd, but I can see how it is. You put it beautifully if I may say.

I'm currently going through Making a shift from Julien (yay for black friday sales) and I feel pretty much the same way. Their payed products seem to be on another level.

Thing about daygame is that, according to Todd, it has to just happen. Basically, you should be able to go chat up a girl while going about your business. A trick he uses for that is being everywhere 15 minutes early.
/r/seduction09/12/15 01:09 PM

LOL. yeah. I could use some Jesus in my life as well. Someone who just says "go talk to that girl" is probably enough.
/r/seduction09/12/15 12:57 PM

this. In fact, you can probably effectively get her to like you by just having the balls to say no. By showing she doesn't phaze you like the other guys, you already stand out. It's kinda like in daygame, where just going up to a girl already makes you stand out from the pack.

This OP however needs to realise that what gets preached over here is not gonna turn him into a dude that gets a gf just like that. This WILL bring some significant change to his life. Cutting out the bullshit (such as gaming, which, while being enjoyable sometimes, is not a thing that will help you improve as a man imo. Not much anyway) completely for a while might be necessary. That's how I went about it. It's a lot easier to cut it entirely, then get back into it a little, than it is to skip …

I totally agree with the point you're making. Coming from a point where I was literally playing games 10-15 hours a day (and still sucking at it, mind you) however, I do feel like gaming is something which should be reserved for when you have time to kill. Which, since I started really improving my "game" as in the art of self-improvement, I don't really have anymore. Even though I enjoy playing video games, I believe there are better, more useful and more social things out there to learn and ha…

I think everyone here always said looks actually do make a difference, and that's why you need to dress well, and hit the gym often. But you can make up for a lot in the looks department with good social calibration and game. Nice post elaborating the general thought though.

What also comes to mind is that when girls fall for you, they begin to display what we would call "beta behaviour", from my experience anyway (which, granted, isn't that much). I personally want a girl that displays the same qualities us men do, when being attractive. I like a girl that's a little bit bossy. It gives passion and fire to the relationship. But most girls are kinda just lapdogs as soon as you won them over. I dont see the problem in that though. Clearly it's not meant to be, as she…

I think that's mostly because part of the attraction is the thrill of the hunt. I love the feeling of making a girl fall for me, and yeah, I'll be attracted along the way, as long as I'm not sure of it. As soon as I "win", the game is over, and the thrill is gone.

well I met her over the weekend, we hit it off pretty well, people told us we were great together, so we decided to go out another time, but the first time we were both available was next Saturday. So I was wondering if I had to keep in touch with her through text in order to keep her interested, and if yes, what/how I needed to text her. So far there's no 2nd date planned in any sort of way

First of all, thanks for the reply. I'm sure in most cases this would be pretty good. I really appreciate your attempt to help. This girl however, has the oldest phone I've ever seen a 17 y.o. girl use. She also barely ever uses facebook. She's very atypical of a girl like that. But again, really appreciate you chiming in :)

This is hilarious. I live practically on your doorstep. I'm not that experienced when it comes to women (which I'm trying to change :P) and at the moment I'm kinda busy, but you can hit me up anytime and I'll try to figure something out :)

Start from yourself. As in: if she doesn't wanna talk to you, that's her loss, she's missing out on a really cool person. And move on to the next.

The whole point of being alpha is really not giving a shit about whether or not girls like you. Abundance mentality is what you need to have.
