That's very sweet :) That's me- https://www.quora.com/profile/Sambhavi-Mishra-13 I've only written 2 answers on the topic so far and I'm facing lots of negativity but there's a lot of support too. I feel like it's a very unaddressed issue so I'll be expanding on the topic with more answers.

I am very sorry you are going through this rough phase in your relationship. I think the best option is to sit him down and have an honest talk with him about how you feel neglected. I don't think you are falling out of love- it seems more likely that you are hurt at him obviously taking you for granted. Express your emotional needs to him. He will hopefully understand the gravity of the situation and work on putting more effort.

I've seen the contrary around me all the time. Men mature slower than women which is why until mid 20s there's always a gap in the maturity levels of men and women who are of the same age. It's natural for women to be attracted to men who are more sorted out in their life (hypergamy) which is why they're attracted to older men. Same way, natural for men to be attracted to younger women because they will be more fertile than older women. I'm not talking about couples with a huge amount of age gap…

Dating apps are a terrible way of meeting men, at least in India. You need to meet them organically. Work on your appearance, weight etc and develop your conversation skills. Your best bet is socializing. I would recommend asking at r/TwoXIndia for some advice on how to deal with this issue (though if you want advice from a RPW pov then you better take their advice with a grain of salt- they are super feminist)

I'm really trying not to be judgmental but I'm Indian and I can tell you very few high quality men would be interested in a woman with a history of casual hookups. Don't bring in sex into the equation too soon or no decent guy's gonna commit.

Something I've noticed with my boyfriend is that we resolve our issues much better if I have some patience and let him speak out first. Once he's done, I address the issue from my perspective (as well as anything he said in anger which might have upset me). Since he's gotten the worst of his emotions out, he's much more patient to hearing me out (hence never making me feel unheard) and patiently hearing him out helps me in controlling my temper so the situation doesn't aggravate. It's what works…

I'm 18. Boyfriend is 27. (Anyone judging right now- no, he is not a pedo. He is not using me. He is not toxic or abusive or anything else along those lines) Pros- he's not an idiot like a lot of guys in my age group. Relationship timeline speeds up since he is much older so if that suits your life goals, it's good. He's got a much more sensible head on his shoulders so Ik I can trust his judgement (especially since he's more experienced). Older men know how to be protective without overdoing it …

I would suggest making a list of all the 'feminist' trait of yours that you want to get rid of so that you can be more aware of when you are acting on them. Works even better if you maintain a journal of some sorts to note down how you might have messed up as well as how you could have avoided it. Gradually, it will become a natural part of your behaviour.

Breaking out of feminist patterns can be very difficult. I can understand what you are going through because I experienced a lot of issues too, especially in my love life, due to the same problem. With some dedication and persistence though, hopefully you will be able to break out of them. All the best!! :)

She knows my family situation. My mother is a hardcore feminist who gets disappointed if I show the remotest interest in feminine activities like cooking, baking etc. She is constantly taunting me for wanting to become a 'mediocre woman' and 'a man's slave'. Considering all that? It is not in ANY way a privilege for me. Me wanting to become a SAHM is actually a decision which I will have to fight for a lot in the future when I marry. My best friend knew that and even then she said I was privileg…

The argument stemmed from us discussing about the California fire. She said gender reveals are a sign of the 'patriarchy'. She also got pissed at me for wanting to dress my future unborn children in gender stereotype clothes (dresses, skirts etc in shades of pink for a girl and pants, shorts etc in shades of blue for a boy) because I was promoting the notion that 'colours have genders'. It was a long discussion that began with us talking about the California fire. She got pissed over the entire concept of gender reveals because of the chance of a kid coming out as trans/non binary/etc and even more upset when I said that if I had a child, I'd probably love to dress them in a way very stereotypical of their gender (like clothes in shades of pink for a girl or blue for a boy etc). Apparently, gende reveals have been introduce by the patriarchy too lol. I got accused by her of 'gi…

That is what I am starting to feel too. Better to let the friendship go gracefully instead of hold onto it at the cost of my dignity.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 01:58 PM
1

That's probably the case. In general, most feminists are misandrist to the core. I just came to know about this subreddit called Female Dating Strategy which is filled with feminists trying to establish relationships with men where they are basically trying to control the man and be the boss of him. Very unhealthy, in my opinion.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:53 PM
2

It's probably for the best that I've had to let go of the friendship. I would rather surround myself with like minded people who support my life choices instead of people who are constantly criticizing me for not agreeing to every last thing they have to say. She values her opinions over our friendship so she can keep her opinions and I can spend my time forming better friendships.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:30 PM
1

This is so true unfortunately :\ I have decided to just respectfully let the friendship go and get over it for my sake.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:26 PM
6

This is not the first time that I've had to compromise to accommodate her 'opinions' so I don't think I'd apologize or express to her how much her friendship means to me because having me around obviously does not mean anything to her. However, if she unblocks me I would be respectful to her for old times' sake. Overall, after a lot of contemplation I have decided that it's better to just let this friendship go for my sake.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:25 PM

That is an AMAZING thought!
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:13 PM

I guess one of the reasons people surround themselves with friends that share their beliefs is so that they don't end up falling out with their friends due to arguments like I did
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 12:02 PM
6

It was more like a combination of factors instead of an epiphany of some sort. I just realized gradually my need for a more traditional relationship (or way of life in general) which obviously did not agree with feminism.

Feminism projects that it's about self love, self worth etc but it just focuses on putting men down, seeking superiority and encouraging women to behave like men. Red pill women focus on developing their femininity to have healthy relationships instead of seeking some twisted sense of dominance over men.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 11:30 AM
1

Haha that's a very apt quote
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 11:28 AM

That is what I have decided. I have let the thought go. I cannot compromise with my dignity to sustain a friendship which she values less than her opinions.
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/20 11:28 AM
11

If her opinions are more important to her than our friendship, I do not particularly mind the fact that she's blocked me. I am not obliged to constantly agree to her opinions just to sustain our friendship. She has to put some effort too.

I am sorry but I think you are delusional. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. Financial issues? Daughter? Is there any guarantee that his financial issues will disappear in 10 years? His daughter may have grown up by that time but will she stop being a part of his life? Intimacy is an important part of relationships. However, that does not mean that you absolutely NEED to be having sex with your boyfriend. Since you say that you and him are not intimate in non-intercourse ways either, you definitely need to talk to your boyfriend about this issue. Maybe he is under the assumption that the two of you have decided to wait until marriage? If you feel uncomfortable directly confronting him about this issue, you could just try heating things up a bit and see where i…

Please don't text him again. You deserve better. I know he might seem like the perfect guy for you due to the initial impression, but it looks from the way he's treating you that he does not truly care about you. Don't lose your virginity to a guy who will probably dump you very soon. You will get someone a thousand times better. Block him again. This guy is NOT for you. I think not being home might create an impression of OP not caring whether things turned out well for her boyfriend. Better to be at home but go about your stuff as usual until he comes to you to talk things out. Then tell him that he DID hurt you by his words. Once that issue is addressed, nothing wrong with some cuddling and pampering

/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 08:13 AM
2

I'm talking about the general scenario. Arranged marriages are the most common method of meeting the partner and almost all girls look at guys who earn significantly higher than they do. Even with mature women that go for love marriage, they usually choose a man who is somehow at a higher status than they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 08:10 AM
1

I completely agree. Here in India, women only take the step for marriage if the guy is significantly well off (financially) than they are. Except for the weirdos (which are growing in number thanks to the brainwashing done by feminism), the majority of women WILL go after men that they see at a 'higher' status than them, whether it is financially, on the basis of reputation or dominance in bed.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 07:21 AM

Thank you so much for your valuable advice! I totally agree that the need to work may arise any day which is why I am focusing on college so that I am qualified enough to be employed if the need arises (such as if I do not marry him right out of college or if anything untoward happens).
/r/RedPillWomen11/09/20 04:30 AM
2

I am planning to stop work whenever I end up married (which will not be before I am done with college. I want a certain level of education so that I have the option for being employed if the need arises).

I hope things work out wonderfully for you! I will definitely keep working towards my goals <3
/r/RedPillWomen11/09/20 04:27 AM

I do have a course that most probably WILL give me a job. My plans are to leave my career path ONLY when I have gotten married which is why so far, despite my boyfriend and I looking at marriage in the next few years (once college is done), I am going on with my studies and if needed, I'll take up a job too.
/r/RedPillWomen11/09/20 04:26 AM

I prefer not to. Thing is that she is the one not letting it go.
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/20 09:02 AM
1

I know. I do not intend to completely give up on my career. I will be studying as usual and also getting a job after college if I am not immediately marrying him. My mom's main problem is that she is mocking me for my ultimate aim to be a homemaker for WHENEVER I marry. That's why she is trying to discourage hobbies like cooking, baking, embroidery etc
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/20 08:32 AM
4

That was an accident. Also, I am not changing my career path because of him. Even if things don't work out with him, I will wanna be a SAHM with whatever man I finally marry. I am not abandoning my education and I intend to have a career if things don't work out with him. My mother's main problem is that my ultimate aim (for whenever I marry) is to be a homemaker and she is already discouraging me from my regular hobbies like cooking, embroidery etc because of that.
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/20 08:30 AM
2

I'm not single😅 My partner and I agree to the SAHM thing (though we will think of marrying only once I am done with college)
/r/RedPillWomen10/09/20 06:56 AM
12

I guess one of the reasons men may want (or at least be open to the idea of having) a homemaker is because being a homemaker/SAHM to a working husband allows a clear demarcation between two important spheres of managing a house and maintaining a family. The man provides and the woman nurtures.
/r/RedPillWomen08/09/20 04:29 AM
1

This isn't being a red pill woman lmao. It's just you becoming a typical feminist. More than the points you mentioned, this attitude of yours would definitely drive a LOT of men away.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/20 03:44 PM

Which is completely different from what I said? Giving birth to a child and adopting a child is different. The genetics can play a role in case of the adopted kid but I was talking about the case where I give birth to the kid and then raise him/her. I literally called the kid my (and my partner's) flesh and blood.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 02:05 PM
1

I've seen enough examples around me and through the media which show that the kid did not turn out to be an amazing person because he/she was not brought up right. Exceptions always exist but majority of the times the kids who turn out bad usually had a parent who went wrong in SOME way. Even the kids who turned out fine despite having terrible parents had to withstand some amount of trauma and will always be scarred from that. So I don't think parenting is or will ever be like a game of Russian…

Have I ever said that every woman is obliged to have kids? The one who can't parent should not have kids. But you have to admit that feminism has brainwashed a lot of women into thinking that they would be happier working for a boss who does not care two pence about them and will replace them within a week of the woman's death instead of building a family. A lot of women WOULD genuinely be less stressed if they just stuck to being the way women are supposed to be. For the ones who are better off…

Uhhh on what basis are you making that wild statement? There's data showing there's a rise in female suicides as women have entered the workforce but I don't see any data about the claims you are making.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 12:47 PM

Idk what you are talking about because women who look down upon marriage and children usually end up whining in their 40s because they are lonely, miserable and desperate for male attention. As women have entered the workforce, female depression and suicide has drastically increased so your statement that women who want marriage and children "often end up incredibly depressed" is absolute garbage.

I could never think something like that. There would be nothing as fulfilling as having one man that I love and who loves me- with whom I spend my life until either he or I take our last breaths. We meet all sorts of people that come and go, but parents, friends, any kind of family members, siblings etc all will eventually have their own lives and I don't wanna be sitting lonely and miserable at 70 on my couch because I was stupid enough to think along the same lines that you do in my 20s and 30…

It takes a LOT of effort to unlearn toxic feminist habits. It took me a while to get where I am but I couldn't be happier now! I think a bit clarity of thoughts would help you in being the wife that you want to be. Remind yourself of the goals you want to achieve as a wife EVERY morning, write them down in a journal and implement them throughout the day. You will mess up for quite some time, but the most important part is to never stop trying. At the end of the day, write down in your journal al…

If it's an arranged marriage then the man already knows that you are courting for marriage. It is completely normal to discuss married life during that courtship period so I don't see how discussing the obvious might give off 'desperate' vibes. (At least that's how it happens in my culture. If things are different in your case then I'm sorry but I can't help)

Cooking! Until half a year ago, I was the person who could not even boil a pot of water without causing disaster but in the past few months I've learnt that cooking/baking gives me immense pleasure. It isn't about sex. It's about making it clear from the first date that you are only looking for something long term. 'Flings' are never supposed to be long term. I understand that you have social anxiety so dating apps might be your best shot but you can find your dream guy from there only (hopefully)- just clearly mention in your bio that you are only looking for something long term. When you go on dates, make sure to not wear your heart on your sleeve. You need to be completely sure that the …

Honestly, I can't agree more. The OP does not seem like she's in the phase in her life where she can successfully find someone to settle down with. At least not while she's having 'Tinder flings' and obsessing over them instead of working on herself for the right man.

To a large extent, I agree. But nowadays things are changing and many MILs genuinely try to be adjusting towards their DILs too. It depends on the husband too. Despite having the in laws around, he should be draw a line so that his wife never feels like she is being mistreated. I don't think there's anything wrong with this set up but if the people involved are wrong then things can fall apart pretty quick.
/r/RedPillWomen21/08/20 05:47 AM
5

This is a REALLY different opinion but where I come from, it's pretty normal for a girl to live with her husband under the same roof as the in laws and a lot of times, they get alone pretty well as long as both the husband and the MIL understand that the couple need some privacy. But then again, considering how heavily biased this man was towards his mother, it is a good thing you dumped him because if the couple is living with the in laws then the husband really needs to learn to draw the line.

I'd suggest that if he proposes, say yes because you guys obviously get alone very well. However, don't rush into the wedding. You say that you'll be living together after high school is done so being engaged and living together would definitely give you an idea of what marriage will be like. If all goes well then you can definitely marry whenever you feel is suitable.
/r/RedPillWomen19/08/20 04:32 AM
2

I honestly get your point of view a lot. Especially in my country, a girl who is partying too much, too loud etc will just be considered 'easy'. A guy will waste her time for casual dating, hookups etc but he'd never actually marry her. And the worse part about this is that since the majority of girls are into these wild ways nowadays, I get judged by people to be just like them simply because I am in the same age group. That's why whenever I meet a guy (like in this case too), I firmly make it …

Thank you so much for your concern. I truly understand that it is very valid. However, it is VERY difficult to find a man who shares the same values with me, is of the same religion and also from the same state as me (something which my parents will definitely look at if I ever introduce him to them). I don't want to let a good man go just because of the age gap. I will be very careful so that the relationship does not cause hurt to me in the long run.

I agree that there are definitely some downsides to being a SAHM but where I come from, they can be easily tackled. Even if a woman is widowed due to some unfortunate reason, her in-law's would most probably take up her responsibility. So yeah... the money thing won't be an issue. I do not have any doubt about his character. He is an amazing man, he will make a loving husband and definitely a kind father. He earns enough to give me and any kids a comfortable lifestyle. My only concern is how the…

/r/RedPillWomen18/08/20 08:42 AM

That is a very valid concern :( But I would rather have a loving marriage with a man who shares the same values as me even if it means spending the last few years of my life alone. I honestly do not find anyone near my age who shares the same values as me (wanting an early marriage and being a SAHM are something that is almost looked down upon in my country nowadays) so I'd rather date him with just one downside than a man with 10 downsides and the single perk that he will be around in the last …

He did not sought me AFTER coming to know about my age. I naturally LOOK like I am in my early 20s and that's what he assumed when he approached me and we exchanged numbers. It was only when we started texting and we asked each other our ages that we realized the 9 year age gap. So no- he did not pursue me BECAUSE I am 18. He pursued me and LATER came to know that I am 18.

He and I both agree that we must move slow. He has addressed the age difference problem and clearly stated that he does not want to stop my growth somehow. The age gap thing has crossed his mind too and he's just as apprehensive as I am about it. This entire thing happened because when he and I met, he assumed I was in my early 20s (I mean I LOOK that way. I know I cannot just proclaim that I am mentally that old too). It would be ideal if either of us found someone closer to our age but where I come from, 99% people are feminists who literally have no interest in prioritizing family so chances of him and I finding someone who share our values in o…

He mistook me to be in my early 20s when we met. The age difference concerned him as much as it did to me. I know it might sound bad and judgmental, but 99% of the men and women where I come from are self proclaimed feminists that aren't really interested in prioritizing family so finding someone who shares the same values as me is quite rare (and very unexpected).
/r/RedPillWomen18/08/20 08:17 AM

I know it sounds like he's 'preying' on me but he genuinely mistook me to be in my early 20s when we met. In fact, the age gap did concern even him which is why not only I but even he is insisting on taking things very slow. He has insisted time again in this short duration itself that I am quite young and he never wants to stop my growth. Things do seem quite genuine so chances of it all being fake are very low. However, I will definitely be careful! Thanks for the advice :)

I know it is a huge gamble. It's just that the thing with my ex left a REALLY bad taste in my mouth. I've noticed the same kinda behaviour with guys I've just been friends with so it was not just a thing specific to my ex. It just really puts me off that a grown man would use playing a mobile game as an excuse for cancelling/being late to dates.

So far I haven't noticed anything of such sort but I will definitely dig more into this before I make a decision. When he had met me, he said he'd honestly thought I was 21-22 (I look kinda old for my age) So chances of him being a pedo are unlikely, but then again people DO make up stories so I will definitely be careful.

I guess everyone has different outlooks towards life. I would always prefer being a SAHM because it would be more fulfilling for me to care and nurture for my family than being a part of the corporate world. I think your sister should let go of him. RPW look for stability in relationships. They want relationships to last long/culminate in marriage. This does not seem like the kind of man with whom she can achieve her life goals. You say she would prefer to be a SAHM. How can she ever have that if the man she is married to will not put his best foot forward to financially support his family? He must be at least capable of giving a comfortable lifestyle to his family without his parents' help. If he w…

Listen to your mother. She seems VERY wise. I understand the amazing relationship you share with your SO and I am quite sure that he would never let the classmate get to him. I haven't read the book but I'd love to give it a try! Reading's one of my favourite hobbies. Also, considering how in today's society traditional gender roles are being broken, the concept of being 'feminine' would probably change a lot, I agree. I still love traditional femininity (though it does make my 18 year old self look like some granny)

I am sorry if I came off that way. I don't judge women who are not feminine (even though that's the way of life I prefer for myself). All I meant was that such women who put down other women are simply insecure. I'm not judging them because they are not feminine but I am judging them because they think it is okay to passive aggressively put down other women simply out of jealousy.
/r/RedPillWomen13/08/20 09:08 AM

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean. I thought my words were pretty clear. I just wanted to convey that women who shame feminine women for being 'put together' are generally just jealous.
/r/RedPillWomen13/08/20 08:54 AM

This is becoming VERY common nowadays because of the toxicity spread by feminism. These women think that it is something to be proud of if they are sloppy and cannot fulfill feminine roles like looking after the family, maintaining a clean, organized space etc. That is why they passive aggressively shame traditionally feminine women who enjoy carrying out these duties well. Kudos to your friend for being so well organized!
