Different strokes for different folks I guess. I just couldn't bare through the cutscenes, I felt like I couldn't move for 50% of the game. I also wasn't a big fan of the affection mechanic, for my first playthrough it pretty much won me the elite four and champion, because originally I thought it was just a new way to gain happiness. I did enjoy the new alolan forms and the experimentation with the gyms, but the story just wasn't for me.
