This is literally the definition of cope: I'm not going to give a random woman the opportunity to reject me, she does not deserve that right. First I need to see she is worth it, and than I will take my chance. No more freebies for the opposite sex. aka "I can't get rejected if I reject you first!11!!!" If after 12 YEARS of cold approaching you haven't mustered enough game to have better hit rates, you're not as "chad" as you think you are. This is the #1 problem with our sub: people who think t…

This is one of the most autistic responses I've heard at TRP

Lesson learned. It wasn't a "omg lets be official right now!!1!!" More of a "lets be clear about this whole thing, best to be on the same page. If you want my commitment in the future, we can start taking baby steps" Was feeling the oneitis creep up, plus she began mentioning other people (and saying it wouldn't be fair if she kept getting intimate with me), so I took my shot.

Definitely a ton of truths in your post, thanks for that. To be clear, I called the shot to end it. Near the end of our talk she began mentioning how she was "holding back" despite wanting me. I kept it stupid simple, asked if she wanted to pursue my commitment. She kinda hesitated and replied with "No. not really right now", and that's all I needed to say best of luck and a simple goodbye. And boy, did it go dead silent when I did that. But you're right. If she really wanted me she wouldn't mak…

Yea, that's advice I've heard before and agree with. Always follow through with whatever you say. I guess what I'm really wondering here is in the situation where you have a new LTR/plate. Do you wait till she makes the mistake, and then say what you need to, or define it beforehand? And if beforehand, how would you go on about doing that? I presume the beta way would be to talk her up (ie "Hey I have certain boundaries and they are X Y Z), since that just reeks insecurities.

Just an example, not my current situation. But c'mon, you know very well if your LTR is going out to get white-girl wasted, with or without telling you, that's a huge red flag.

Oh god, that's good. Any resources for where you find these kinds of "teasing" lines? Or are they something you just pick up with experience?

there is probably something about you that is giving a beta bux vibe. I thought about this for a long, hard time. And you know your shit; I believe I've fixed the issue. Just was able to get another plate for good; in a few months I might do a FR on it. Cheers, and thanks again.

Ditto. Just wanted to drop my 0.02c, as I'm on the same track. Had a finance internship under my belt going into university this year, and it's helped a shit ton. Not just in getting another internship that makes me competitive with upper years, but it's always something interesting to connect over with them. Most of these upper years I've clicked with are going on Investment Banking in a few months, and damn... for someone fresh outta university, their salaries are insane. We're talking 100-125…

He'd be a solid 8.5 or 9 (obligatory no homo) if he were more lean and RP as fuck. Could've pulled a HB 8+ that night. Instead, he took home a criminal record with felony charges.

Also should change to "Off Topic" and flair it "Ranting/Venting". I come to FR's looking to gain insight on real world applications of RP, not this sudo-phycology stuff.

Who cares? If you take drugs when you look like shit, or have shit workout habits, you'll just look like a bigger piece of shit. Ethics and morals aside, give credit where it's due.

Part of RP is realising women aren't loyal, hold no value in marital relationships. Don't be like them. Messing around with married women guys... it's not worth it.

There's no specific reason why Bank E isn't included, just like there's no Entity B. And what type of person enjoys working in this environment long term? Everyone has their own niche. How exactly is this bad if you don't agree to anything? Is contact inherently bad or is it just like talking to the Police, all downside no upside? Yes, it's like talking to the Police. I can't think of any upside, it's just a waste of time. Is there methods an unsophisticated person can do to obfuscate? The most …

+1. Marriage is a crucial part of the culture within the Middle East, most of Asia in fact (comparatively to the Western world), but there's nothing wrong with breaking societal norms and living as you please.

I'm in finance myself, looking to finish my degree and networking around to pursue IB. So I could see a bit of where you come from; the degree and no job stuff is very true, and especially in the finance industry, there's a high turnover rate as well. Plus, people are burning out left and right. I suppose you could always finish the year, defer the next to try out some trade courses/shadow in the trades industry to see how it's like. You know, before you fully commit or decide to go back to fina…

The operations industry is apparently one of those easy-to-get-in, "hidden careers" that pays well in the long run. Have a bud over in the eastern US. He started off as a truck driver with little-to-none connections, toiled for a while, eventually got promoted till he became an operations manager (pulling in around a $85k USD base). He's around 30 right now, got in during his low 20's. From what I also know, although not trades, becoming an air traffic controller (even at a small airport) pays e…

Not sure on how to properly add spacing between the paragraphs or line breaks, but let me know, and I'll update the post.
