Hey fellas.

I seem to have this problem where girls I meet through my social circle always end up being these "validation-only" whores. Let me explain:

  • Meet girl X through my friend circle
  • I'm the first guy she'll get on: "You're pretty sexy" "Wow, nice arms" "Your voice is like music to my ears"
  • I see an opportunity to get another plate, decide to pursue slightly
  • Everything goes well, I'm thinking about to closing (ie. telling her to meetup somewhere alone) and nope. Before I even get to that, if she gets the validation she wants from other guys that I don't give, she flocks to them

This has happened three times so far, and I'm not sure how to deal with it. Giving this kind of chick the attention she wants will, of course, only move her further away. Neglecting her, conversely, makes her just flock to my other friends that will.

My solution has been to go radio silent a few times, but in the meanwhile, these whores start drenching themselves in the compliments they get from the other guys. Only once they go full-beta on her (takes a few weeks, and I usually know when this happens cause this guy will start gushing about this chick to me/other guys), then this chick will come running back and I could close. But the whole process is very annoying to deal with, and I'd like to find a solution to skip over it (and then too, she doesn't stick around as a plate).

Mind you, this doesn't happen with chicks I approach myself, but somehow only with girls that share some mutual friends. It's like they're using my boys as leverage. Very confused as to what I'm doing wrong here, any advice is appreciated.
