I'm tempted to print this out and pin it up.

I've heard this before. It's complete paranoia.

It really is a form of rejection. This gave me some food for thought.

His behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

Exactly.

Wow. He 100% was being a dick. I can accept that maybe she has trouble communicating, but that instance had nothing to do with it. That was some serious lashing out that wasn't called for, toward her and their child. She may not have been calling him one, but if the shoe fits.

I didn't say it made sense psychologically for a healthy individual. On the contrary, it makes sense for serial rapists and murderers. The darker side of psychology. Their fantasies usually are unrealistic and imaginary.

Psychologically that makes sense. But I still find it enraging.

Absolutely floored by this. An incredibly good point.

This right here needs to be spread.

I've definitely never met a woman that did anything like this. But men, yeah a few. It's messed up, and I feel it's worse than just fraud. He psychologically messed with them.

This is absolutely sickening.

That's an amazing way to look at that 😂.

I'll be in observation mode on my next shopping trip. This makes me want to just stand my ground, even if it comes off as rude.

This is so valid but it really caught me off guard. I legitimately laughed out loud.

So am I. I just want to weep.

I appreciate that. I think I've gotten over that bull pretty well.

Valid point. I feel magic is a pretty convenient answer, but also simple and reasonable.

It appears not. The comment I received from an ex was that I looked like a train wreck without my make-up. Fantastic.

Really? That just seems unobservant on his part.

Well that just blew me out of the water. It always bothered me that for some reason he couldn't recognize her.

That's actually a really good point. That would be a nice positive note.

You're absolutely right. Just more worries for the pile.

Companies would probably start having to collect information from models and get consent in writing. A whole bunch of documentation. That's my only thought.

I think I needed to read this.

That leaves me angry. You are not some sort of opportunity for him to take advantage of. It's not free birth control for him. The sheer selfishness of that. And he has no thought about you or your feelings. I have family with endometriosis. It can be scary and most definitely painful. I'm glad that you're receiving treatment now. Wishing the best for you, in love and in life.

I believe it definitely would have an impact. Growing up with that situation would give the impression that it's "normal". It would be like a learned behavior. Though that would also mean that it can be changed. I've realized over the years that my dad is pretty much in that same category. I will always love my dad, but I couldn't be with someone quite like him.

This all sounds very familiar.

I can see a disturbing pattern forming. Age has never been a huge thing to me, but a predator is a predator.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
