Yeah that's what I was thinking, it just happened a few times recently so I thought there might be an issue. The only thing I wanna know is why even give me their number if they are have no interest in getting to know me better.

I think that's exactly my problem, I don't want to be too direct because I feel like I'm coming of as creepy. It would be way better to just be direct though, I realize that now.

Yeah thanks, I don't like that line either, especially because that girl wasn't even really my type, but he just did it spontaneously and then I couldn't really back out without looking stupid, lol.

My native language isn't english so he didn't exactly say "May I introduce you", but something along those lines. Other than that, I completely agree with you.

Damn that's even worse than my story, lol. That last sentence is so true though, once you get rejected and realize it doesn't mean anything nothing else can stop you.

Exactly, that's very true. That friend that introduced me actually has a gf, his plan was to introduce me to the girl to spark up a conversation and then leave us alone, but it didn't quite work out that way lol. Thanks for the tip though.

I've never heard about thatwasepic, but I will check it out! Thanks again for the advice, just reading your replies has given me motivation to keep on trying and practicing. Of course you are completely right, it really doesn't matter if I embarrass myself as long as I learn something from the experience. Do you maybe also have some tips on how to steer conversations in a more flirtatious direction without coming off as creepy? I always feel like I talk in a way that's too friendly, but I don't …

Thanks for the long and detailed answer man. I'm not in college, the educational system is a bit different in my country, but I will be starting university in October. I've actually never seen it like that, that I show too much interest, I always thought it was good the way I did it. But now that you said it like that it makes much more sense to show them I don't need them, will definitely try that. The things you said about self confidence are also really good, I need to work on that too. Will …
