| 1 | Something to remember: men are more variable than women. As such, the top of any field will always dominated by men. This is a complete non sequitur of an argument. If you are going to change definitions of what exceptional is in the middle of a discussion just to appear as if you are contributing something to that discussion, well, you are just deluding yourself. People rarely appear unreasonable, stupid or crazy to themselves, so obviously you are not exceptional in that respect. | /r/MensRights | 13/11/13 09:33 PM |

The "top" of society are by far not the most deserving or intelligent people. I have no idea which planet you live on, but it is certainly not Earth. I have spent most of my life in an academic environment and even there the "top" consists of those who are the loudest and most connected. Seriously though, don't project your own emotions to my words. | /r/MensRights | 06/11/13 07:00 PM |
| -2 | Something to remember: men are more variable than women. As such, the top of any field will always dominated by men.Don't take Wikipedia to be the ultimate source of truth. It may reflect some current opinions/findings, etc. But it is hardly the set-in-stone truth. Anyway, below are some excerpts from the blog of a biology professor (P.Z. Myers) on male variability: "....And the most frequent rational for that is the greater male variability hypothesis: the bell curve of performance for women is better tuned to achieve a greater likelihood of median ability, while men are more erratic — they produce more dama… | /r/MensRights | 18/09/13 10:56 PM |

But claiming somebody else's achievements as your own because you share a penis with them is preposterous. Men are not a sports team in which one exceptional player manages to put the team ahead of all others, despite that his team-players are nonentities. Who wants to hire those nonentities just because they rubbed shoulders with a superstar? Or give them higher salaries because of that? They are replaceable. Feeling your self-esteem rise, be… | /r/MensRights | 18/09/13 10:33 PM |
| 3 | Something to remember: men are more variable than women. As such, the top of any field will always dominated by men.I am not even going to argue if that study got it right or not. Who dominates a field is not as directly related to who is the most gifted in it, as you may think. If women have the highest scores in speech comprehension and language skills, why are they not dominating the literature and journalism awards? Just being talented is only a part of becoming dominant. Let us assume that men have some advantage at very high scores, so what does that mean for the large number of average and below averag… | /r/MensRights | 18/09/13 08:17 PM |
