I did. I’m pretty sure it was the blueberries. They were old and kind of icy. Had been in the freezer a while. My husband, ever the optimist, decided to crumble up the messy cookies and use them in his yogurt as a treat. So it wasn’t a total loss!

I made successful roasted green beans! (Fresh green beans tossed in sesame oil, soy sauce, red pepper flakes - in oven about 15 mins on 400) Tried to make lady fingers and failed. I think I deflated the egg whites when I mixed it. Sad flat mess! Then I tried to make my usual oatmeal cookies and put frozen blueberries in them. Huge mess! Using the frozen blueberries resulted in way too much moisture making my cookies one giant mess!

That is really interesting! I’m glad I read that article. I had no idea about all that. You would think with all the crazy feminist hubbub in the US, this would not be the case.

Great tips! I am going to add Kegel exercises to my routine after my mother-in-law told me all of her incontinence troubles this weekend! She’s only 50 and has to wear a pad every day :(

Wow! What a cool perspective you have being a transgender woman with red pill values! I think that’s pretty damn fascinating! Welcome :) I have always loved being feminine and everything about being a girl, and I’ve always thought how awful it must be for transgender people to not feel comfortable in their own bodies. I’m glad you are feeling comfortable with your femininity, and I’m sure you’ll be able to find some good advice and support in our little group. Feel free to ask me anything too!

Also he doesn’t give me an allowance or a budget for my stuff like clothes, decorations, shoes. Personally, it would actually encourage me to spend if I knew I had a certain amount per month. I just buy what I need and think about my purchases carefully.

My husband works in software and set up an awesome budget spreadsheet on Excel. It’s got different colors and formulas and stuff! We didn’t set a budget at first. We just used the spreadsheet to track our spending for a couple of months (and also looked back at our bank statements for the previous months). After we figured out how much we were spending on what things, we were able to create a budget and figure out where the best areas to cut costs were. Our budget is divided into: bills, transpo…

That’s a great idea! I never really thought to use the computer to make a mood board. My sister and her kids love to make “vision boards” so we have a little craft night and cut out magazine clippings and glue them on paper. But doing this on the computer would be much easier and more customizable!

Smart idea! I know the basic color schemes I think I want for the different rooms, but I will wait a while before I do too much decorating.

Cute name! Aww yeah I’ve heard pigs are smart and loving like dogs. We have had pet hedgehogs for the last few years, so I guess we’re fans of unconventional pets!

It’s not your fault sweet girl. You can’t help that you were young and naive when you first met him. Now you know better. Focus on what you can do now to move on. Starting all over is no fun, but now that you have more knowledge about vetting and RP values I think you will be on your way to a much happier future.

I am planning on going to Soma soon as part of my Christmas presents! I absolutely HATE bras (I think I have some sensory issue lol), so I’m hoping they can help me find something that doesn’t drive me nuts! Everyone I’ve talked to loves Soma.

So I just read this post yesterday morning, and regarding the relationship rules I thought to myself “hmm these all apply except I mostly manage the money.” That very night I came home and my husband was so excited to show me this really fancy budget spreadsheet he made on Excel with formulas, functions, colors, etc... We are moving to a house soon, and he is a math guy, so he wanted to really delve into seeing how our budget will be different now with the house. Anyways, I just thought that was…
