Thank you!

Thanks. I really want to hear from the dads!

That is precisely why I asked this question.

I agree.

That's a great story! I have a large extended blood and shirt-tail family, and they just threw us kids together and ordered us to find something to do when there was any kind of gathering. Boys and girls together ended up having fun together.

Really! IMO, the worst emotion in the world is shame, and we shame kids who don't conform.

With the exception of the kids who play team sports as little ones, boys and girls don't interact with each other in meaningful ways. Boys and girls like different games, and the few who want to play the "wrong" games are not usually welcomed by the group. The peer group is sometimes stronger than the parents in creating the child's world-view, and you know how strange kids' ideas can be. We need a way to let more boys and girls play together at younger ages so they get a real understanding of t…

That sounds like a good family attitude, but you're right, I was looking for sunnies. ;-) This section usually contains a lot of posts complaining that women treat men badly, I want to know what these men are doing to ensure that treatment doesn't continue into the next generation.

That's pretty slim advice. I was hoping for something more meaty from the guys.

I like that! My dad has similar advice, along with little gems like, "Boys have feelings, too!"

It's a small, self-selected sample, agreed. I still think there's no reason to take the chance that your (or anybody's) son will lose some pleasurable sensation through circumcision.

Nope, that statement about women in groups did not come from me. I gauge a man's pleasure by his responses. I'm not going into detail here, but my experience indicates that when a man's skin is intact, all his skin receives pleasure when any of it does.

You misunderstand. I said the uncircumcised men got more pleasure from sex more than circumcised men. Makes no difference to me, I enjoy sex just as much either way.

Of course you did! I never said anything either.

You're welcome! Thanks for raising this question.

I'm an old lady who's lived an adventurous life. I'm sorry to tell you that uncircumcised men enjoy sex more than circumcised men. Don't clip your son's weenies! Teach them how to be clean, instead.

Not all women exhibit this behavior. If you want to be with a woman, find one who exhibits better behavior, don't sit around whining about how all women are like that.

Insulting someone you don't know makes no sense, either. People should be more careful about whom they choose for partners. That's all I'm saying. We should all know the danger signs of abusers and avoid those people, no matter how attractive they are.

So you're happy choosing women who will abuse you? That doesn't make sense.

I think the problem is men who pick the wrong women. I did all that, and would do it again to have him back.

Ah, but who will care for you when you're old and sick? Who will donate a body part in an attempt to keep you alive? Who will push your wheelchair when you can't walk? And who will warm your bed every night through it all?

Since when did tax law have to be evidence-based?
/r/MensRights30/08/10 04:16 PM

The tax system is set up so mommies can stay home and daddies go to work. Or vice-versa!

It's not punishment, it's encouragement to marry. I'm on your side, being a widow, but I understand the reason for the tax code. Married people are statistically more stable, commit fewer crimes, have healthier lifestyles, etc. Historically, they've been more likely to have children and contribute to their neighborhoods. It stinks, but the gummint would like us all to settle down, already!

It's very true to the times in which it's set. I was a kid, but I remember quite clearly. Our mothers were the first generation of women to really be educated, and although they loved their families, they wanted to contribute in other ways as well. Our dads worked hard and weren't as involved with the kids. Most of our dads didn't have cushy office jobs, and they came home tired. There was a stringent dress code for office workers, guys had to wear suits or sports jackets and always ties. Women …
