The pay gap talking point I always felt was forced to get more women into the workforce (to demand/work more hours) for more labour, like how cigarets were advertised as empowering and sticking it to male society in the early days. I don't, I merely point out that black women's dark skin does not affect them in police shootings, which was what was being claimed. That does not map on to the numbers. I have heard that "white supremacy hurts white people too", though admittedly not as often. Perhaps not in those exact words, but something along the line of 'Whiteness hurts white people by separating them from the rest of humanity, and that it gets white people to vote against their interests, that kinda stuff.

This was always what 'believe women' were, otherwise it would have been 'believe victims'. And I even take umbrage at the latter saying, since a victim, imo, has to be determined first. After all, if you are falsely accused of something, you are the victim and the 'victim' the abuser (via social power). Perhaps 'Listen and check' would the best way to put it.

I mean looking at who gets shot, not who goes missing. Black men gets shot the most, then white men, then mexican men, etc. Nowhere are women shot more than their men, and the difference is massive. This could mean two things and a mix of them, either the genders (and races) aren't equal, aka different, or there's systemic discrimination against men. I think it's a mix, though where to cut the percentage is often hard and beyond me.

Reminds of looking at the data of shootings (in America) and seeing that being a black women literally only mattered half an iota more than being a white women in shootings (which is to say very little). In the dating market I can see certain minority women doing worse than their male counterparts (BW), others much better (AW).
