This is awesome. Femininity is not confined to the home. It's how you carry yourself.

I'm saying most married couples plan and want their children. If that's a foreign concept- that's on you and your culture.

Maybe I just was raised with healthy two family households. We all have different expectations of normal.

I don't disagree. Safe sex is a thing.

Didn't say they didn't. But most kids born to married parents are wanted and claimed.

I'm an executive assistant and so long as you find a flexible boss and company it's carte Blanche when it comes to time off. I actually am the backfill for another EA whose on her second baby.

Playing the red pill game here (and the rock on my finger says I played it well) If I work (and work is the key word here) to be a good homemaker, and I bite my tongue, and take a pause before I start nagging because I want to cultivate the best home and relationship, why would I expect someone who prioritized self improvement as well? It reminds me of that scene in gone girl where Amy talks about "he honestly expected me to love him unconditionally." No, to be in a relationship means to continu…

Nothing is in life fair. Using your connections from the country club or getting out of a ticket because your uncle is a cop or whatever is arguable unethical too. We all use advantages others don't have. The only people who don't get this are people born without any.

Most women do. The majority of college graduates ( women) earned their achievement fair and square

Because it's performative. If you care about the issues men face, work in your day to day to normalize mental health struggles instead of posting on insta to pat yourself on the back.

I agree. I celebrate achievement as I learn about them. I don't need to be lectured about when that's appropriate.

Therapy as a whole has turned into "how do I make myself into the biggest victim" and it turns off many high achiever/high stress clients.

I always request a male therapist despite being a woman. At risk of sounding like a "pick me" I'm a solution oriented person and the woman therapists I've had are a big fan of wallowing in emotion instead of changed behavior.

The majority of history/science/math teachers I had were male in high school. I think men gravitate to high school where there's a mastery of skill and women gravitate towards the younger kids.

In my experience, it's because some men lack the emotional intelligence to decide when it's appropriate to cry. I had an ex boyfriend who broke down and cried because I told him I was leaving. In his mind, he probably though he was being punished for finally being vulnerable. In reality, he was cheating on me and wouldn't stop using drugs and only started "expressing his emotions and his demons" when I was walking out the door.

Why do you refer to men as men but women as "female" ?

Men put the gendered expectation on themselves. "Don't be a Mary/girl/pussy" isn't lexicon women came up with.

I'm not a MRA I'm just anti feminist. Porn is bad for society as a whole. And fat gluttonous men are the biggest offenders
/r/MensRights04/03/23 05:45 AM

We're not talking about women. Many men use porn as a substitute for human interaction.

Well yeah. 2nd wave feminism hasn't even hit some of these countries yet. Many of these women don't have avenues to get themselves out of poverty. I'd be nice to the visiting American schmuck too.

Keep you head up. Honestly when I'm at my worst we're probably similar in that we scour the internet looking for answers. Sometimes honestly it's best to take a walk, put on a sheet mask, and journal our fails and achievements

This is my experience with my husbands friends. They all go after the hottest girl in the bar and then when that doesn't work they say they can't get paid.

I think you enjoy being miserable because it's a familiar feeling to you and you're going to seek out communities that illicit a response because it's better than feeling like there's a void.

This is a great answer. Staying because of your faith is valid and there is Christian (or other religious) counseling. But fear of other people's opinion is no way to live and I don't doubt this issue has creeped into other issues of your life.

God I would love a RP therapist. I have OCD so therapy is and will be a constant in my life. Every therapist I see is so woke and tries to turn me against my parents, partner etc.

It depends on social class. No, a middle class man wouldn't mind dating a woman who worked a McDonald's but you'd never find an old money man dating outside of his social circle. Many upper class women have very prestigious degrees.

College is about so much more than having a career. College taught me how to think critically, communicate clearly, and to entertain other people's perspectives and experiences. All of those are feminine things and skills a feminine woman has even if they don't "work."
