Nice edit and paraphrase. If you want to draw back from anictodatal despite all of your claims being exactly that, please feel free to look into gendered gang statistics. There's no better example of opportunistic morality than gang affiliation. This directly contradicts your statements on opportunistic morality. You are straw manning This is exactly what you did in the paragraph prior. You don't see campaigns to shore up male self-worth and self esteem, or campaigns for men to sign up for caree…

Look, you can go as long-winded as you want about your anecdotal life experience, but end of the day that doesn't change the fact that you are flat out wrong. It's abundantly clear that culture and religion by far have more grasp on peoples morals than gender could even come close to reaching. To say that women as a whole have no moral compass or even less than men is abundantly false. A better hill to die on is people in harsh circumstances (divorce, etc) are likely to go against their morals d…

I don't think she's arguing we are held to different standards. She likely took offense to just the title alone. Saying women have no morals is so far out of touch it's not even funny. Morals are on a person by person basis and have always been. There are consistencies between cultures, religions, genders, etc, but consistencies do not hold true on a person to person basis. The loudest people stick out more. Meaning you notice it more. What you aren't noticing is the good people in the backgroun…

I think those subs are for a different niche, for sure. Of course, this is just my opinion based on a quick scroll through them. I'm sure there are some good conversations to be had there, but it seems very politically leaning.

Completely agree. Bros lost touch with society. Probably should seek mental help. Sounds like he's been burnt too many times. There is no real excuse for this mentality, though. It's extreme enough to where I believe this may even be a troll post lmao.

Pushback or no pushback a kid cannot concent. It's true there are many variables, but if a kid cannot concent and they don't have the mental capacity to even consider thinking long term I think that invalidates any argument for it to be legal before 18.

So sorry if I seem a little ticked, but you just happened to directly insult the 2 most personal topics to me, my family(trans person), and having autism. (I am high functioning autistic) By no means am I insulting anyone here. I take no issue with your brother being trans nor do I take issue with you being autistic. Wish you and your brother the best honestly. Like how Trans people's brain just functions more like the opposite gender, which causes extreme discomfort in their own body, which lea…

So your solution is to allow girls that are anywhere from 8-13 or boys between 9-14 to make a forever life altering decision in hopes the gender (affirmation actually helps them which isn't always the case). Do you believe these children can conscent to this? Do you believe it should be mandatory or up to the parents? I'm not sure allowing a kid this young to make a decision that will forever essentially disable them (meaning they have to go to the doctor regularly) is a good hill to die on. Wom…

I'm just explaining what others are saying. I'd say you're contributing to the problem being so quick to demonize people for so little. Feel how you want to feel about it. That's just the take many people are having... Personally I don't care what an adult does, but I do care when a kid is involved. No kid can conscent to gender affirmative therapy or hrt. Even with a doctor excuse. As for the whole part where you were questioning if I even met a trans person. I have. And no this person did not …

Correct you are both your body and your mind. What I was speaking on is when someone in their mind associates with their body negatively because of consist reinforcement from society that their actions are that of the opposite gender or that they are bad people because of what's between their legs. If there's enough trauma combined with normal teenage year self image issues and said person finds a rabbit hole it is not unlogical to see why some people go this route. I'm purely saying this is a s…

I believe many people argue that transgenderism is sexism because the majority overly feminize themselves. To an extent they have to because testosterone develops more masculine features. Ie hair, higher bone density, thicker skin, wider faces, eyebridges, etc. However the general idea is that trans women make their identity off the most extreme female looks. Ie lots of make up, flashy clothes, etc... This dwindles the meaning of what it means to be a woman to some people and spreads the idea th…

It sickens me because I felt the anxiety of the "all men" or "the only girls like" type of people when I was growing up. It's so pathetic how so many people can sit there and say it's sexism to generalize based on gender and turn around and do the same thing themselves but 100 fold. To me it's no wonder transgenderism is on the rise. Sure one could argue "oh its on the rise because there's more knowledge out there and more people to back them". To that I agree to an extent, but I'd argue transge…

Have a girl in my life that does this. Uses the same excuse for racism. It's just blatantly stupid in my opinion. The argument is purely "well its okay if I do it but when someone else does it it's not okay". They try to justify it by saying "the patriarch still exists" or "men are always the nasty creeps that murder". When the truth is saying hateful shit only causes more of a problem. They create a self fulfilling profacy. The type to say I hate all men will bring out the hatefulness in men. J…

I say you deserve nothing no matter who you are. You are actively in charge of the people you seek to date no matter the gender. You decide what traits you want and don't want. If you end up unhappy and single until you're 60 that's a you problem even if you don't want to admit it. The same way someone with no standards is bound to be unhappy. I say have standards. Know what you like and don't like. Only way to do this is date around. It's okay to settle, but be sure it's with someone willing to…

Never said it did.... I'm just giving you males perspectives on it. If you don't think it's valid then so be it. End of the day it's because men don't have equal say. I'm sure you are fine with that. I'm indifferent on this. I'm just telling you my understanding. A girl could end the kids (ik you're going to yell fetus so please dont) life and move on with her own life. The male cannot or if he wants it he cannot. Abortion it's a moral grey in my opinion. I see why people do it but I could never…

Way I look at this is I believe many men have been told they better not be a dead beat or their father was one so they don't want to be. Thus requiring many to feel like they have a responsibility even if they fuck up. The idea of an abortion is the female gets to choose everything that occurs with the baby. She can void the responsibilities of a child despite her having just as much fault in making it as him (not speaking about rape or incest). If he runs away before the baby is born. He's a po…

Ooo buddy that's not a hill to die on. Have you ever been in a relationship where the SO doesn't ever cook, clean, pay bills, help with errands, shows no interest, never does anything nice, etc.. Sure you may be able to argue transactions are not the only part of what makes a relationship long term. To that I'd agree. I can speak for this personally. I'd like to argue for the sake of humanity that men should still cold approach women. We shouldn't let psychos speak for women. It depends on your situation obviously. Don't be approaching women in a dark alleyway lol. That being said I exclusively didn't approach women for years and probably still wouldn't even if I ended up single again. Of course I may be biased as I grew up watching the political extreme demonize men for this since the mid 2010s. I don't know…

It's funny because I actually got in a weird argument with my girlfriend a little while back over the meaning of this word. She's a big true crime fanatic. She thought the term literally meant men murders who only kill women. I was used to seeing women saying it as an insult so I tried to explain my side and she wasn't having it😂. I was like well at least I know I won't ever be called an incel by you (in my head). It cracks me up. But yeah no for sure. If men cannot even bring up weight then the…

I answered that. It's easier to blame the outside world or others than it is yourself. Blaming yourself would require accountability and action. Blaming others or the outside world requires nothing and enables complacency. Thus it's easier to take it out on women than it is to actually change the maladaptive behavioral patterns or really even admit you're wrong. I'd say as well because we've established they are in a miserable position it makes a lot of sense that they would degrade others to ma…

I think you could probably argue that some people like having things to complain about, so their behavior is maladaptive to bring in more problems for yourself to then have more to complain about. Typically the complaining acts as a sense of validation for those individuals. I guess in this sense you would be correct as well. I've found myself in this pattern but catched myself before I get suicidal or destructive, but I could get some people never finding an exit I feel you. I feel like many of…

Bad take. Better wording would be complacency due to consistent suffering. It's true they often cause their own problems when they don't take care of themselves. To them though I would imagine it's like being stuck in a rut. It's really a self fulfilling prophecy for those that don't take care of themselves while also not treating women correctly. They then fulfill their biases about themselves and the world around them when they cannot retain a decent relationship with a woman. I'm talking very…

I agree with what you're saying. It's an easy scapegoat for some women to use to get the same result. I'm glad my girlfriend was never the type to try and make me pay. We split many things 50/50 or pay for our own food. We do treat each other on occasion. It's nicer this way. It's definitely a red flag if a girl gets upset either at a cheaper first date or constantly is making you pay for everything. I would say it would be evolutionary advantageous for any human to prefer partners with lower body counts. 1st point being less likelihood of stds and stis. Those that have this preference and also do not have sex with people outside of a committed relationship will likely have far less encounters with what used to be a possible death sentence. Now we have recently developed medicines for many stds/stis and ways to test for them, but I would say it's still a valid avoidance. 2nd point If someone…

Yeah I mean I am from the younger generation. I'm 22. I was always afraid to approach women out of fear of looking like a creep or being put on blast because my approach was awkward at first. I feel like there may be a shift it a lot of men feel and act this way in my generation. I could be wrong though. It's just weird this last year I had two girls approach me. I'm in the worst shape of my life too which is what threw me off more. I'm not sure I guess I'll have to see if it continues.

Obviously you should keep in mind the situation you're approaching. You should approach someone in the day time in a public place if you're going to do it. If someone is in a hurry and gets approached a simple I'm sorry I'm really busy today and don't have the time to talk would do. You can tell when someone's interested when they talk to you. You don't think there's partially a social aspect to it? At least where I'm from there's the remnants of the courting and chivalry system. These were pressured onto me at an early age. Asking her out first, buying her flowers, opening doors for her, paying for the food, paying for the date, and so on. I would say this to some degree has an effect on the psychy of a guy. It puts the women on the pedestal.

I'm not sure why you even posted if you're so heavy set on this... It is not an egregious assumption because most men are roaming the earth looking for nothing but sex. I'm not sure how lying to you on Reddit would benefit me in my sexual life, but okay. That's a weird jump in logic. Speak off assumptions... It's possible I'm not average, but I don't think anyone could prove or disprove that. I'm just speaking from my own experiences on when I'm approaching women. You say the average man cares about looks. Unless me and my friends are above average I'd say I have a valid point that counters what you're saying. I care less about looks than I do personality in my dating life. Truth is there are plenty of shallow people in this world. Both women and men. I'd advise both to look out for surface level people If we are speaking purely in fantasy I think I could agree with you. I think you've been on the internet too much tbh. I'm a man and encourage all my friends to go for a girl that has a good personality that you're also attracted to. Anyone that says they don't care about looks lies. What someone looks like is the first thing to catch your eye. Then afterwards it's the personality that keeps you. It's true too the more you're around people the more you become closer to them. Some relationships start this way also. I don't think it's healthy to say all men or all …

Or you know have an actual conversation about it like an adult. Get her the therapy she very clearly needs and see if there is a way to bring the kid up so we don't create a cycle from our issues. I could take your advice and shut her down entirely which would likely lead to us splitting up, me paying child support, the court favoring her, and her raising the kid with greater influence from her and her sister. Is it bad that girls have their genitals cut? Yes. Is it bad that boys have their genitals cut? Yes Yeah wasn't saying otherwise That's all that matters, no one cares about the "surgery type" apart from people trying to say one has it worse than the other, which is a divisive and pointless argument. Well I'd have a theory it wasn't just men. Though there are ties to religion. Before antibiotics a uti could kill. Though with foreskin it's still rare, but I feel like the reason it has such strong links to religion is the same reason why the Bible says to not eat pork. During that time period it was relevant to follow both theses rules for health concerns. I'm a more modern context there's still the religious aspect, but I've encountered many females with a stigma for no reason.

/r/MensRights07/01/23 01:54 PM

You're right it isn't about who has it worse. It's about the surgery type. That's the point I was making. There's a slight advantage to male circumcision with less chances of yeast infections and utis. There's 0 benefit to doing it for a vagina. This is the point. I've very clearly stated that it should be the kids choice regardless.
/r/MensRights07/01/23 04:08 AM
-16

Nah dumbass. It's simple. If we look at it comparatively the procedures are completely different. Head fucking ass. I very clearly said I'm against both. It's not a whataboutism to acknowledge the differences between the surgeries. To acknowledge one is often more detrimental than the other when it's blandly obvious. Half of the mfs here seem to be sensitive asf. Go touch some grass or cry a fucking river. Both are bad, but one is unequivocally worse.
/r/MensRights07/01/23 04:03 AM

Doesn't it fall on women too? Both parties are guilty. Usually it's done shortly after birth. The parents decide. Also there's many women that are fucling brain dead and act like uncut dick is a mortal sin (being a little dramatic on the tail end of that but still). I'm speaking from experience. That may be apart of why families decide to do it. Or religion

Intact is fine if you take care of yourself. If you teach the kid to clean themselves they will be fine. I've had yeast infections occasionally since I've had sex, but it's not bad. As you said over the counters work. Sure you have utis and it's harder to clean, but it's better in my opinion. I think the worst experience I had was my foreskin getting caught in my swimming trunk liner💀 that didn't feel so good. That was a one off thing tho when I was a kid

/r/MensRights06/01/23 08:53 PM
-20

Yeah I figured it may be a karma bomb. I'd just encourage people to look up the many forms of female circumcision and form their own opinion. Typically it's not just the labia they snip off. There's a version where they sow up the vagina outside of a small hole. As you could imagine this allows for far more infections. Though with antibiotics I disagree with both. No matter the reason. Should be the person's choice.
/r/MensRights06/01/23 08:40 PM

Female circumcision is far worse, but that doesn't justify the laps of care. There's no reason to do either in current society.

Agreed. I'm uncircumcised. Glad I had a choice in the matter. I have a had a few utis but that's nothing non treatable in a first world country. Plus it's less than girls around me get utis. I won't be circumcising my kids unless it's medically necessary.

That's an option but not always conceivable. Especially with 8 kids. That nanny check might equal her pay check or be a little less than it, if she has no job experience or degree because of watching the kids. Depends on the incomes of the two of them. Ideally with 8 kids nowdays both partners would work. I'd have a hard time supporting 1 on my own let alone 8.

Well I wouldn't be so happy if I never got alone time. Though sometimes you gotta do shit you don't want to do. Especially with 8 kids. That's a lot to deal with on both ends. Watching the kids and feeding those kids is a lot. Sounds like a shit ton of stress until they get old enough to take car of themselves. Even then if you're the only income. They'll come knocking on the door looking for the wallet at every corner. Working 75 hours a week is a lot, but so it's watching the kids 24/7 365. So…

You aren't gonna find a way to settle things with this type of girl my friend. Not unless you do everything she says or absolutely agree. Sounds like a very opinionated person. I'm making an assumption here but she seems like the type if you disagree you are what she sees as the most evil of her enemies. I'm slightly speaking off my own experiences with someone that was more extreme in their beliefs. If you stay with her, which I don't recommend as it sounds like she does this often, you're goin…

Would guarantee that it has to do with the lack of sympathy and emotions for men in society. Add radical feminist that consistently shout "fuck all men" and get promoted on online algorithms. Then add loneliness to it. Add social media detaching us from reality. Add dating apps. Add men being seen as preditors. Add the stress of being expected to be a provider. Add all the double standards. Then it's clean to see why many men decide to take their lives. Edit: Feel free to add some more points.

I'll be honest I don't like absolute submissiveness in a woman. I don't need a yesman. I need someone that challenges me some and keeps me in check when need be. Someone that can actually have a conversation with me that brings a different perspective than me. Though I also do not like dominant women or really just the dominant type of person in general. I have the same experience as a straight male. I ended up being roommates with a guy. He was bi but said he was gay as a shield to get touchy with women. He consistently would hit on me or my guy friends even after I set boundaries. He eventually got jealous when I got a girlfriend and would just not talk to me and sulk all day every day. I guess maybe the assumption the standard argument is where there's two people that have potential for sexual attraction there often is more risk in being friends. I think I agree with that. I wouldn't ever put myself in a scenario where I'm alone with a girl that's not family outside of work or such activities. It really depends on the person I feel like. I have friends that are girls, but do not seek to hangout with them alone. I have a girlfriend so I mean that has a lot to do with that one. …

I agree with the definition of it. I think it's best to take the most logical position you can, but also think about how your emotions may construde your perception of the facts. Many people say they are logical but purely follow their emotions and then proceed to find facts to cover their emotional attachment to the idea. Then they claim they are logical. An argument does fall apart if there are no facts though. I just mean many people have emotional responses that they aren't even aware of, bu…

Yes that's the definition. Let's be real though many people that say they are logical and pride themselves with it often use their emotions first and follow it with "logic". As the saying goes as well "Believe those who are seeking truth. Doubt those who find it". Many speak as though they know the truth but far less know what they are talking about. Who defines what's logical? What's logical to one may not be to another. Why ban people that you disagree with? Seems illogical to do that on its own. Self explanatory. I'm tired of radical dickheads steering the conversation to their line of "logic" So simple answer no. Let people talk. If you disagree so be it. Reply or downvote. We are all human and thus we all have emotion. Pathetic if you think otherwise. Why shouldn't we allow people to reason in your definition of non logical?

While I agree with your mindset as it's the only way to get out of a rut and I'd encourage anyone to take that mindset and roll with it, I also think gender can play a factor in social dynamics. The average man is far less approachable generally. Rather it's because women fear them or just generally do not approch men. I think pre-nups are necessary if a male has already established a solid income prior to the relationship. I don't see how another person has a right to money you had been earning prior to a relationship. This is especially necessary in court systems where they favor the female if they split paths. If prenuptial agreements weren't a thing and I had a lot of money and ownership prior to the relationship, I wouldn't ever get married.

You can add to that woman are twice as likely to feel depressed according to some studies I'd be willing to bet it's the estrogen especially in women that take birth control as they have even higher levels of estrogen. It's a human trait unfortunately many people cannot comprehend being wrong especially in the moment of a heated debate. People tend to dig their heals in and double down if they feel attacked. It's only after the debate when people think about it that minds change. Some won't of course. That being said I think it depends on the type of conversation. I would argue most men can’t even truly tell if a woman is really enjoying sex with him or not. And that has to do with experience. A vasectomy is 1k and the reversal can be anywhere from 5000 to 14000 dollars. Also I wouldn't be comfortable taking that chance if I still wanted to have kids. 90-95% is very early on post vasectomy. The longer you have the vasectomy the less likely you are to reverse it. Then as the years go by you're even more unlikely to conceive.

You can encourage conversation of you'd like. It's fine give the men are okay with not having kids, but if that's not the case the conversation should end there about vasectomies at least. Only way I see that conversation going further is say a couple has had a kid and one wants two and the other only wants the one. Yeah that's an option, but that can come with risks depending on the company. Also some may prefer to have kids without IVF. I think the last is a pretty valid reason to avoid it if you are healthy and want kids. IVF would be a more expensive route to have children. So for financial reasons if you know you want kids and can control yourself, freezing sperm doesn't make sense for the long run.

Yeah I mean too the only time I even get a UTI is taking a bath. That doesn't happen if I clean the bath really well before hand too. Basically all we have to do is teach the boys the same health precautions we teach the girls when they are young. Even then the boys will get less utis than the girls typically.

As a non circumcised male I can say UTIs suck but they're not world ending if you live in a region that has antibiotics and also properly clean yourself. I've only ever had 2. One was pretty bad. While the other went away on its own. There's no real reason to do it in a first world country. Even though female circumcision can be way more harmful there's no reason for either of them in a modern environment. No reason to sacrifice a man's sexual pleasure, risk the possibility of a botched surgery,…

Unfortunate reality. Society says men are supposed to deal with it. We are supposed to be stronger and "how could a female over power a man"... simple many men are taught to never hit a women. Yes some will in domestic abuse scenarios, but it's very clear it's that more men hurt men over females when you look at national crime statistics. Many men also don't report their domestic abuse scenarios because of this/ Just look even on this sub how men are treated when they try to make a police report…

I asked in twox what the line of advice for a man would be on a post saying abortion wasn't male birth control. Which from a fundamental stand point I'd wish anyone bringing a child into the world would step up and not run away. I know that's not the utopia we live in though. Especially now that things are getting more and more expensive... That being said the girls in twox said that it was entirely the man's responsibility if he got a girl pregnant. They said you should always wear a condom (go…

Well yeah that's possible. But unlikely. Considering the way they went down. I had seen them both checking me out out of the corner of my eye. One chose the checkout beside me and the other yelled at me from across the pumps. I try not to assume girls like me just because they are nice to me. It's still a possibility but given how they both went down I definitely don't feel that was the case.

Yeah for sure. I definitely learnt my lesson with her. I said never again after that and proceeded to filter out the women I was seeing at the slightest red flags. I do my best to warn other guys and try to vet their girls out the best I can if we are good friends. There's only one guy I know that slipped between the cracks. His girlfriend is apparently massively conservative and Christian. He started dating her after I knew him. A good guy but I could tell he was lonely. He ended up with a girl…

The men then just suffer in silence, or assume this is how it's supposed to be and blame themselves for not being good enough in the relationship. This resonated with me. I thought I was the problem in my first real relationship. I would always blame myself in the beginning. If we fought I thought it was me that did something wrong everytime. Once the sex drifted away I thought it was me. Thought I had done something wrong. She got mad and made a scene storming off away from me and my friends on…

I think it depends really on the definition of opinionated and doesn't take shit. I never want anyone that's so opinionated there's no middle ground in talking to them. That's not a partner that's a dictator. I also don't want a woman that shoots me down because she "doesn't take shit" If she's strong yet has a humble ego sure I don't mind it. I have a theory that many men don't report these things. Say thought experiment right. Say a guy had been consistently slapped by his wife for saying something she didn't like. Say this man has been taught to never hit a woman back, so he doesn't. Then he knows consciously and subconsciously if he tells anyone it'll be dishonorable. Let's say he does say something. He's told he's bigger and stronger than her. That he should talk to her and figure things out. Obviously bad advice (but sense women…

That being said I'd encourage men to find a woman that doesn't ascribed to social roles as much. Someone to compromise with. A 50/50 standing. Rather it be splitting dates or splitting chores. Don't settle for someone that wants you to ascribed to the double standards.

I do feel like the tides will turn within the next generation or next few decades. Men are dropping out of colleges at an exceptional rate. This will likely mean women will start becoming more wealthy than many men. Many of the high earning women may have to date down because of this. It's really going to depend on where the future goes. Personally I'm one of the dropouts. It's very clear even in the south at a smaller military college that many of the classes are female oriented. Possibly becau…

I knew a guy that gets a majority of his retirement taken away upon retirement. He deserved it though. His karma for raping his own kids and getting away with it. That being said if that happened without said circumstance and it was just a decent ending to a bad marriage, I think it's fucked up that the wife is entitled to any retirement post divorce. It definitely can be. I'd suggest if someone didn't meet your sex drive and it's important to you, just leave and find the person that will match you. Now if you can live with less sex and have a good relationship with the person it might be worth staying with them. It's all on your cards and what you choose to play. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Also if you immediately tell a woman that without building a substantial relationship with her it will be seen as a red flag. Most …

I guess this is a case of the loudest in the room. Everyone hears it but few say anything after. Changing peoples perspective of the reality. I dunno how to change this really. Especially in feminist centered groups. It would be a lot to change the narrative especially in echo chambers where all they do is circle jerk each other. The best thing I can do is be a good man. Because the modern societal usage of the term is far too broad and watered down. That's my only real point. Right yeah I agree. I would hope in a court they'd uphold that both parties had raped each other and dismiss it. I just mean from a social standpoint. Is what bothers me. Rape is such a charged word really. Even if technically both parties raped each other. One side of the story may get out without the nuance and a reputation is destroyed. I dunno just seems off putting.

This situation I am referencing is both parties being under the influence. Neither of them are sober enough to make the decision, but also too intoxicated to think clearly. In my personal life if a girlfriend is well beyond the point of being blackout i get her to bed.

Yeah no for sure. I'm not a party goer. I'd never go have sex with a random inebriated girl. I acknowledge that actual rape can occur in both a relationship and marriage. As in one party forcing sex. I just don't know rationalize a couple that are crossfaded having sex being rape really. It's most definitely a grey area. Say she was passed out and he took advantage of her. I'd definitely say that was rape, but if they were both blackout but still physically there I dunno what to say about it. It…

It is. Especially if the woman knows and says I won't get pregnant. Now I will say accidents do happen. I think many of us question it really. I think from a fundamental standpoint I think most people would agree with early feminism. I think nowdays though it's gone into the weeds. It's turned from equality to superiority. I think this has caused a big power struggle between men and women. Radicalizing both women and men. I think generally viewing people on the individual standpoint is far better than viewing each other based on group identity, but that's the opposite of mainstream feminism nowday…

That depends on the person. If the person you're looking to spend the rest of the life with weaponizes your vulnerabilities then you probably shouldn't be with them. I believe there was just a post about staying away from twox. I feel like that's pretty good advice for the people that will slip into extremism reading their comments. It's very easy to. There are definitely similarities between the two subs despite the difference. I don't see a problem if twox exists so should this. Men should be able to express their views just the same as the women on twox. To say otherwise is a bit absurd. Though maybe this sub should be more productive in actually fixing the problems. That being said I'm not sure twox is doing that themselves. Change occurs in the real world. Not here.

You're right. I commented on a post where a girl was complaining about men expecting something from a paided date. All I said is both parties are in the wrong. I'll comment on twox occasionally, but I refuse to join in on anything that's petty or engaging because I could care less. Half the takes are cookie cutter in there.
