A man with a recessed jaw is a 2/10, even if he is fit. Losing weight is not enough to be a 4/10.

The Rational Male is based on evolutionary psychology, which is the bad sheep of psychology. The field has many theories which are very difficult to prove, because the data is not there. You can't go back tens of thousands of years in history and gather the data. It's on the boundary between science and mystery/theory. The book is also written in an us vs. them narrative. It's men vs. women. For instance, women are all about hypergamy, while men are not, which is not true at all. It's written to…

I guess it's kinda important. I am a 38 year old virgin male, so... I don't really know, do I?

Not really. Everyone I know who is in a relationship and quickly gets into another one when single, puts in A LOT of effort. This means online dating (premium profiles, professional photos), good social skills, asking women out, putting themselves in social situations. It's an effort, but they do not see it as an effort. It comes natural to them, because they have healthy sex drives. For example, asking out women is not an effort for normal men. Saying yes is normal for normal women. For normal …

You are right, but there's a caveat. Personality is crucially important for men who are from 4/10 to 7/10 (90% of men). For the rest, personality is irrelevant: they are too ugly or too hot for it to matter. No matter how good/bad your personality is, if you are 2/10, you are NOT getting laid. No matter how good/bad your personality is, if you are 8/10, you are getting laid.

This is what I've always said on this sub. I have a lot of female friends and they are genuinely happy when they get approached by a decent man. This does not mean slapping their asses, groping, or saying things like "hey babe, wanna suck dick?". Women really appreciate it when men act masculine and approach women they find attractive, even if the women are NOT available. Full-blown incels, major sperg-lords, cheetos-stained underwear guys living deep in the depths of the dark basements of life …

no, u/God_Hand_9764 I was just saying that you may confuse interest with desperation; yeah, you may fcuk women, but are they really interested in you or your assets/job/status?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 08:47 PM

Exactly, and women started liking him for things like money and status, which is not exactly love. Is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/23 08:25 PM

As a 38M virgin, my answer is nope. However, I've seen that women are more desperate and pay more attention to personality. So, if you want to be loved by a woman for your personality, you may feel better in your 30s. Just by having a job, not being fat, and having a full head of hair, you are better than 80% of men in their 30s. And women are more desperate. But I do not consider that success.

You don't see any 45 year old guy dating hot 20 year old girls because these guys don't buy Rich Cooper's tactical soap.

This is something that I always say. Your face is #1, no matter how tall you are, fat, or poor. Short guys with good faces will date short girls. Short guys with bad faces will not date anyone.

Yes, I have a lot of close female friends. Most of them are married or in a LTR. The friendship is different, we talk about stuff that I don't talk about with male friends and we hug more often.

The average man is in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:25 PM

A short, bald attorney will struggle, because he will compare himself to his peers, not with some random fishermen in the Seychelles. Yes, attorneys don't have to date other attorneys, but the vast majority of dating occurs inside the same socio-economic class. You will almost never hear of an attorney from Denver dating a rancher from North Carolina.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:24 PM

I agree with you. Not accepting your league is a major issue in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:21 PM

You can be way above average in height, fullness of hair, job, and still be unable to get into a relationship for having low self esteem, trauma, an asshole personality, social anxiety, commitment phobia, whathaveyou. - this person is below average (personality matters a lot)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:21 PM
1

The problem is that the below average girl will not like a below average man. Just like a below average man will not like a below average woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:20 PM
-3

It means that your league are obese women. Date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:19 PM
-2

Well, if you are an attorney in Atlanta, you can't say you are above average when compared to oil rig worker in Louisiana. You should compare yourself INSIDE the social class/environment you live in, and where your dating prospects are. There's no point in comparing you with a rancher in Oklahoma, if you are a history professor in Cleveland.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 05:18 PM

YES, personality, such as being negative, can make you below average.

I already had 4 accounts suspended for talking shit on reddit. Now I have to use an antidetect browser with fake fingerprints and a private proxy just to use reddit. I don't want to get suspended again. So I cannot explain you how..., but it's possible. Landwhales can do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 04:33 PM
14

Nope. Most dating problems come from the simple fact that most people cannot accept the league they play in: - beached landwhales in their late 30s, with 3 kids from 4 different fathers, living in Bumfuck TN, want a hot, non-alcoholic mechanic, who is also a dom in bed - fat truck drivers with no social skills, who just work, don't have friends, and dream of having a tight-ass hoe girlfriend who wants to deepthroat them - basement-dwelling incels with cum-stained t-shirts wanting hot e-girls to …

Who the fuck googles nude beach etiquette before going to a nude beach? Are you American? In Europe nobody does that, people just go to the nude beach and enjoy the experience. There are thousands of nude beaches here.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 01:52 PM

I don't care, as long as she is happy, makes money, and comes home to me to fuck.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:14 AM

Person A might be in a relationship, while B is single. When A is single, B might be in a relationship. This can go on for years. When they synchronize, love can happen.

Women DO fall in love with their close friends. It happens A LOT. I am talking here about close friends, not distant friends you see once in a blue moon. What's more, women have oneitis more often than me do.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:46 PM

Yeah, but those aren't friends. They are just acquaintances.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:22 PM

So friendzone doesn't actually mean friend, it means "I got rejected". That's not what I am talking about. I am talking about real friends who develop feelings for each other. Not some loser who got rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:21 PM

Hm... even in the extended friend group? You don't know any couple that started off as friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:19 PM
2

Unrequitted love - this is something that everyone experiences at some point in their lives. However, many couples start off as friends. So it's possible to "escape" from it. Don't pay attention to what women say on reddit. Many are weird or they virtue signal. Pay attention to what they do in real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:19 PM

My friend group is the same, and all of a sudden you hear X hooked up with Y and now they are together or some shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:10 PM

I strongly agree with your point, but there's a catch. It's not about people shaming you for paying for sex. The main issue is YOU being comfortable with YOU for doing it. Few men can accept that they paid for sex. Those that can are really lucky (being able to detach sex from emotions and love/intimacy).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 06:08 PM

Damn straight. At my gym women do only, only ass workouts.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 06:49 PM

Trust me, I heard them all. Yeah, most women are decent when rejecting, but you get those very aggressive ones. I'd say 70 percent are decent rejections, 30 percent are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 01:15 PM
3

He's asking how men reject when compared to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:57 PM
2

Women reject by saying "Ewww, no", "Grossss, no", "OMG put your dick back in your pants", "I have a boyfriend", "Get away from me you disgusting creep", laughing at you, throwing drinks at you, calling the cops, releasing the hounds on you, driving away from you, or by ignoring you. Men reject by simply not asking you out or approaching you.

What's your rating system? If the average attractive Joe is 7/10, Leonardo DiCaprio in his 20s is 30/10? Or if the average slim chick is 7/10, what is Adriana Lima? A 60/10?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:42 PM
1

Well, most people are average, so 4 to 6/10 (4 for a little ugly, 6 for a little hot). At 7/10 the hot guys/girls are at. At 8/10 it's the models and people who make money off their looks. 9/10 is the top. 10/10 is the one you are in love with. 3/10 are ugly people, 2/10 are medically deformed people, 1/10 are truly bottom of the barrel. So I would say it's fair to say that 80 percent of people are 4 to 6/10. David Gandy is 8/10. I see a 8/10 in real life about once in 10 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:35 PM
1

Not true. I know A LOT of 4/10 guys who approach and are successful. They approach average girls, and have a success rate of 5 percent, which is good. I almost never see a 7/10 in real life. They are VERY rare (both women and men).
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 12:21 PM

Most of the guys/girls are 4/10 to 6/10 (I would say that 80 percent of people are 4 to 6/10). At 7/10 you are above average.

I used to believe in the dual mating strategy. But it's based on poor data, poor science, and poor methodology. Yes, women get extra-horny for a few days each month, but they don't want another guy. Women just want a guy they are attracted to and want to fuck. And the guy must be a normal, functioning adult. They don't want a beefed-up criminal for 3 days per month, and a fat Billy-beta for the remaining 27 days of the month. That seems like a horrible life.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:55 PM

There are no fat acceptance movements for men, because men are mean and don't create such a movement. Why don't you create one? You'll see that I am right. Men will not join it, and the few ones who will join it will just troll other men, tell them "you phat phuck" and so on. Similarly, there are no "small dick acceptance movements" - no man will ever join this movement.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:42 PM

Making friends as an adult is tough because we are more stuck up and even the person who wants to make friends, truthfully, doesn't want new friends. It's about being open to experiences, and people over 30 are not really open. Positive, open people, can make friends at any age.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 08:39 PM

I guess it's my time to shine, LOL. I am a 38M virgin and I tried a lot, a lot. The main reason why I failed and will continue to fail are looks. I have a facial deformity, which does have a medical name, so it is not something like "big nose". I tried to fix it numerous times but it's a very dangerous surgical procedure, especially in my country. I can't risk it and I don't have hundreds of thousands of euros to go to Switzerland and do it. I did it all, I have a degree in a very attractive ind…

All of the guys who get laid a lot approach women and ask them out. So I kinda agree with you, but there's a catch. You have to be at least a 4/10 to be able to do this. You have to look at least decent. So, if you are a 3/10 and below, it won't work.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 01:52 PM

Of course, if you live in San Francisco, work a white-collar job in a think-tank, with educated, affluent people, and you are a MAGA guy, nobody will fuck you.

Women don't say that. They say they want a man who can support a decent lifestyle for himself: pay rent, bills, a decent car, decent food, and a couple of trips per year.

I really love women. I have a lot of female friends and the friendships... yes, they are different, we hug, we touch, we hold hands - it's another dynamic. Yeah, they are great. Horrible women also exist - and I know several. Women are people.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 10:17 AM

I don't understand your argument. Common sense comes from something present in society, something we can always easily recognize. For example, Gustave Flaubert wrote Madame Bovary in 1857, a very famous novel about a woman who cheats on her husband. The book is so famous that it can be used as "common sense". Every normal, socially adjusted man who reads it, understands that TRP doesn't really exist, it's common sense - women will cheat when they are not happy, when they are marrying for money, …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/23 09:57 AM

I knew about TRP from 2014, when it was "fresh". Yes, it was more pure and had a more direct agenda. I must admit I was a red-piller from 2014 to 2018, but now I am 100 percent blue-pilled. Why? Because I have many female friends, who bring a lot of happiness and joy to my life. And I have many male friends who are there for me. Let's get back to the main topic, though. Rollo was and will always be the leader of the RP community because he found out about evolutionary psychology (and wrote a boo…

Grandmas don't teach their grandsons how to pull women. That would be very weird. However, they tell you to not get fat, to lose weight, to get a haircut - that's code word to look good. They also tell you to work hard and make money. They tell this to all grandchildren, even to girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/23 08:57 PM

It's the dick. Jay-Z has a humongous dick, 10 inches, virtually the size of 2-liter Coca-Cola bottle. It's known in the media world. I guess Beyonce is just a size queen. Dick game is quite important in many relationships, but few talk about it. There are women who stay with men just to get good dick. I seriously never seen a thread on PPD about dick game.

This didn't used to be a requirement. Admittedly, that's partially because our diets have changed in recent decades and many current jobs and hobbies are sedentary. Yet women always liked men that are not fat; just read 19th century literature, handsome, tall, fit men were always surrounded by women; sure, it wasn't about gym, because gyms didn't exist in the 1860s in Berlin; however, men who take care of themselves and don't get fat were always prized; plus, men who had physical jobs were alway…

You are not right. Women can say what they want - don't pay attention to what they say. As long as you stay around 15 percent or lower bodyfat, and have a decent V taper, you are good to go. You can achieve this by going to the gym a few years. However, the difficult part is not eating like a pig. Just by being around 15 percent body fat and having a bit of V taper puts you ahead of 80 percent of men. Women WILL LOVE IT. It's how normal people communicate. If a woman would say at a family dinner "I like tall, muscular guys, with big cocks who fuck me good" it would be really, really weird. They say something like "yeah, he's handsome and manly, I like him". Society is built on this type of communication. I would describe it as being discrete.

Looks is #1 by far. It's the first and only thing that matters at first. She has to be at least a 4/10. After this threshold is met, personality matters A LOT - how friendly, nerdy, geeky, cute, sporty, whatever she is. If she is 3/10 and below, personality does not matter at all. She will just be pumped and dumped, or will be in a relationship with a disgusting man. If she is above 7/10, personality still matters, but a lot less. Yes, most couples are looks-matched. What I am saying is female and male-specific, LOL.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 08:46 PM

This is why: "I want a nice guy [who I'm attracted to]" is automatically assumed by normal men, who have female friends. Autistic men, internet sperg-lords, and shut-in nerds who browse 4chan, wear cheetos-filled underwear, and cum-stained t-shirts don't automatically assume it. And that's why TRP is successful. It explains to these autistic men how women and normal people communicate.

That is not true. If a man is a 4/10 or a 5/10, he is good enough for 70 percent of women. After that threshold is met, it's all about personality. (if you are a 3/10 or below, personality is whatever dude...)

Most of these celebrities are often portrayed as super hot. I have a female friend who always loved Lenny Kravits. She had posters, bags, t-shirts and listened to all his songs. Yeah, the dude is fit and looks awesome. Recently, she went to a Lenny Kravitz concert. She was disappointed, almost depressed - I asked her why - she said "he's sooooo short". I never heard her say anything about him ever again. Ever.

Almost all couples are looks-matched, hot girls fuck on camera with hot guys. Even in professional porn, you can actually see that female porn stars enjoy getting fucked by hot male porn actors. For instance, watch a scene with Bruce Ventura vs. a scene with a random fat old dude. Only autists don't notice this. And yes, any man who has female friends will know this. Women…

I heard the "treat her like a star, she'll treat you like a fan". It's a redpill term.

You are right, it's not women-specific. I just framed it as women-specific because I noticed that men encounter this issue. They don't understand that women like attractive guys.

LOL, I am not black-pilled. I was kinda red-pilled, but I left that ideology or cult. I consider myself an ex-redpiller, almost bluepilled.

I know attraction is crucial. The problem is most men don't know this. They don't understand that women have to find the guy attractive before him being "nice" or "having a good personality".

Yes, attraction CAN grow and it usually does. However, you still have to be at least semi-decent looking. Attraction won't grow if you are a cave troll. A base level of attractiveness should exist.

Yeah, my face is really bad. I have a medical deformity. Unfortunately, surgery is too risky. I have plenty of male and female friends, though.

Chris Hemsworth is very attractive. I was just pointing out that most women just want a decent looking guy, who is or can be attractive to them. Most women do not wait for ultra-hot Chads, like Chris Hemsworth.

Very, very few women say that looks don't matter. Even online.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:36 PM

Exactly. A lot of men think that being nice somehow makes women forget that they are unattractive.

Most women want a guy who is at least decent looking. No sane woman will wait decades for Chris Hemsworth to ask her out.

ooks No woman will say "i like him because he's hot" - that's a given, it's obvious she finds him hot. Men do the same. No sane man will say "yeah, I like my wife 'cause she has that phat ass and huge boob$, plus she sucks a mean dick and swallows". Did I make it clear?

I often see they admit it. At least the women I know in real life. They openly admit that they don't like fat guys, short guys and so on. Just like men.

Personality matters after you passed the looks threshold. When a woman says she likes personality, she talks about guys who already PASSED the looks threshold.

Where do you live? I live in Eastern Europe and women here are very vocal about looks.

I don't know any woman who doesn't admit she likes hot guys. These specimens are visible only online, so it is very weird for me. Ever since I was in kindergarten girls flocked to cute guys and constantly talked about cute guys. In grade school, highschool, and college - it was all about good looking guys. I literally have never, ever been told by a woman that looks don't matter. Every fat or ugly I know struggled with dating. A LOT. Even the fat guys who were successful, they were good looking …

It's not disdain. I love it when people respect me for my profession or my works. But I can't understand why a woman loves me for my profession.

Well, at least you are honest (that you would not have dated him if you met him while depressed). I guess it works for you, but for me it does not. I simply can't be with a woman who likes me for my job.

You really don't understand. Let's say Billy is a prosecutor, he handles dozens of high-profile cases per year. He loves his work, and is very productive. Suddenly, he goes through a massive bout of depression, loses his job, and becomes a ruin. His license is revoked, so he cannot get back into the profession. However, Billy, deep down, is still the same - he still likes certain types of movies, he still likes dogs, he still likes sushi, he still likes long walks. But Billy is not a prosecutor …

The money definitely is NOT great, but being an architect is considered by many women as sexy.

Yes, but if I am a cashier at Walmart, I am the same exact person, but I do not design buildings. I still enjoy BoJack Horseman, I still laugh at Homer Simpsons' jokes, I still enjoy creepy horror and home invasion movies. And I still enjoy spending time with a normal woman and go for long walks. Me being an architect, a prosecutor, a CEO, a high-ranking military official or an ambassador should not change that. Men want a woman who likes them for what they are, not for their ambition and drive.

I guess this is directed at me, because I made the comment about being an architect. Yes, I find it disgusting that women like me because of my profession. I accept that it's my drive and passion for a certain profession. But I don't want women to fuck me because of my drive and passion. I want them to love me because I make them feel good, I make them laugh, and we find each other pleasant. We love to spend time together and sex happens naturally. We enjoy a tennis match, a jog together, a hike…

Not - omg he's a prosecutor, he's so ambitious, and now I am wet. That is disgusting.

I know, and I don't understand how can they do it, honestly. How can a woman have sex with a guy just because he has a high-status job? It's disgusting. I am a feminist, but I really don't understand women, at least when it comes to fucking high-status guys.

Most women do it, but they don't even realize it. That's the beauty of the theory. However, I don't believe in the theory itself. I just think that women get tired of that alpha guy. It's not that they want to raise a kid with a beta. Being in a relationship with an alpha is very tiresome. Always wondering if he cheats, if he comes home, and so on. They just simply realize an alpha is too high maintenance. And in the end, they don't really like that type of guy.

Yes, status is important. It happened to me, and I can't do it. I work as an architect, but rarely tell people what I do. Yeah, it's George Constanza's dream job. I met a woman who found out and was very impressed - I literally designed the building she lives in, and was ecstatic when she found out. I also designed other important buildings in the city. I found out after many months that she like me just for that, because I am a relatively successful architect (not rich, though). I was disgusted…

Play the numbers' game. Don't get fat. Have a job. Be social. Do this and you will be in the top 20 percent when you are 30.

Women do have a biological clock, that's true, but men have one too. There are many studies that show older men have lower fertility rates. What's more, old men have worse sperm, which may lead to genetic errors.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 04:16 PM

I even had a guy report me to an anti-spam bot. So there's that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 04:07 PM

My mom never told me to worship women. She told me to respect them, and don't beat them up (I got into a lot of fights when I was a kid). She also told me to ask them out if I like them.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 04:06 PM

I will not change your view, because I agree. Firstly, not all wine gets good simply by storing it in a dark, cold room. Most wine is mediocre, and it's made to be consumed in a few years. When you buy a $6 bottle of wine and store it for 50 years in a dark cellar, it doesn't magically turn into a $5,000 bottle of wine. It just becomes a very sour/bitter vinegar drink. It's almost impossible to drink, so it's not really a drink. Only select, good wines turn into very good wines. The same goes wi…
