I agree. Saying all of the women have their bitch shield up is just AFC talk, an excuse to not open. Vamp Slayer has great advice. A change of your attitude when you approach them will definitely change the mood and swing of things. I think the 3 second rule is more of an arbitrary thing. It's not a rule you have to enforce completely or follow it strictly. It's just there to let you know that by waiting for a long time, it'll be harder and more awkward to open.

I don't quite agree with cute. Cute can be used it many context and means different from girl to girl. Cute can mean he's a good looking guy especially if you're from the younger generations. But cute can also mean he's sweet and kind in a brotherly way. So it all really depends.

From what I've read so far on PUA methods, it seems like apologies should be completely removed. By apologizing, you're demonstrating a lower value. That is not to say if you bump into someone with their drink or accidentally stepped on her toes you should act macho and not say sorry. Do apologize if its something not sexual. But don't apologize if its something sexual, ie sitting down to talk to her out of the blue, leaning in for kiss, holding hands etc.

Spectacular! I think this is the reason why I am studying and reading up on PUA methods. I mean if you can face a HB8-10 and game them then pretty much you can handle any sort of social situations. haha.. I also have social anxiety too. It doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl, I just tense up when I try to converse with someone that I don't really know. Asking for directions or when I am in extreme need of assistance is the only time when I don't tense up... I think I should follow by example. Today I shall try to do this too.. I think.

I see your pt and it does make a lot of sense. But what if the girl actually shows some sort of attraction like eye contacts? Yes, it'd be different if you're the one to approach them from out of the blue. But I think if girls at least show some initial interest then its harder for you to fuck up.
