Why must there be? Is the idea of a woman committing a crime so hard for you to believe?

Other than circumcision, can you think of any other circumstance where we, as a society, would find it acceptable to restrain an infant and cut part of their body off without anesthetic, for no medical reason whatsoever? Could you even do that to a dog and get away with it? Or would that be cruel?

"I’m planning to sterilize my seven year old daughter before she sexually matures, then freeze my own sperm so she can one day find a surrogate and raise my offspring (her siblings) as their “father”." You think she'd see how obviously weird it is when you switch the genders?

To be fair, when people who speak English as their native language get worse/worst wrong as often as they do, it's no surprise that someone learning English as a second language could pick up that mistake. If I was trying to learn Italian it'd be a lot harder if I was constantly reading incorrect Italian on reddit.

The same cops who, no doubt, would jump at the opportunity to bust someone for using cannabis In the UK? What gives you that idea? I've personally been caught with cannabis like 4 times and not once have they done anything about it. Generally the police just ask that if you're going to smoke, you do it away from the general public.

Why do they limit their activities to college campuses? They're very easy places to rally support for hate groups. Full of young impressionable people who aren't happy with the way the world is, and are glad to be given someone to blame for their discontent. If you're going to indoctrinate someone, it's better to get them before they're adults, while their worldview is still malleable.

God no, I don't hate men at all and I think both genders should be treated equally (opportunity, not outcome), so of course I don't consider myself to be a feminist. Calling me one of those is pretty much the only way you could genuinely offend me.

So if a woman says she's on the pill, has sex with a guy, then gets pregnant because she wasn't actually on the pill (or the guy just finds out some other way), is that also sexual assault? After all, the guy consented to sex with someone who he believed was on the pill, not someone who wasn't.

I'm not allowed in DV support groups because the women who attend might have prejudices against me. A woman's prejudice is reason enough to withhold support from a man. A men's only DV support group is also unacceptable for some reason. The police did literally nothing when I was assaulted by a partner, or when I was falsely accused of rape. Worked for female bosses who had separate rules for male and female employees. Women could break uniform regulation, get extra breaks, get early finishes, n…

Yup. I think it was a pretty bad choice to be honest, it gives the censorship crowd a stronger argument, and I'd guess that association with the subreddit is where a lot of the bullshit about the movie "promoting rape" or "promoting violence against women" comes from.

But, it's pretty horrible that strangers feel the right to shout degrading and cruel slurs at her. It's also horrible that people "feel the right" to assault or mug a wealthy looking target - and those generally do more harm than "cruel slurs". But until we live in a perfect, crimeless world, all adults need to take some responsibility for their own safety, regardless of their gender.

Here's the thing though: Men's rights activism isn't denying that sometimes bad things happen to women. We're not calling for the end of women's rights. We're just asking that men's problems get looked at as well as women's - not instead of them. It doesn't have to be one or the other like the feminists are demanding, we could look at both. walked down a busy street late last night with a friend (f) who was dressed rather scantily. "The left" doesn't hate the film or want to ban it, they're the ones viewing it, sharing it, and buying it. I think you have your left and your right mixed up. I've done a good deal of promoting and sharing myself and I'm pretty damned "lefty". Or, I think I am, anyway. Cutting pieces from a newborn baby's body without any medical reason to do so is mutilation. Mutilation isn't legal. Can you think of any other situation where a person can be mutilated, without medical reason, without anesthetic, and without their consent, and people would think that's okay? Try doing that to anyone other than a male infant and you'll be called a torturer.

Of course the mods didn't do anything, did you expect them to? This is my fourth reddit account. “I realised the feminist view did not reflect my life experiences. I grew suspicious." I think this is why feminism is ultimately doomed. It's going the exact same way as religion. It doesn't matter how many people you scream at/hit/shame, you can't force them all to believe in something that they see no evidence for - and if you had evidence for it, you wouldn't be trying the screaming/hitting/shaming.

This pretty much sums it up. There's a worrying trend I'm noticing in these policies, and it's society moving away from the idea of hiring people based on their ability, and instead trying to force 50/50 gender ratios. In an equal society, the gender of the employee would make no difference, so why push so hard for the exact opposite?

You just experienced the reason why a lot of people don't take MRAs seriously. The attack probably was directed purposefully at women, but more as a result of western society's gynocentricism than any kind of middle-eastern misogyny. If you want to get westerners riled up into a frenzy, you target girls. It's a tried and tested method.

The way that some of them have managed to convince themselves that any criticism of feminism is, in itself, an act of misogyny, or is somehow proof of the need for feminism. You can't have a rational discussion with that.

Yup, hate group. This is how people who call themselves feminists behave. The "hate speech" they're so enthusiastically protesting (censoring) was a talk about how boys at college are struggling, and how they could try to turn things around. What kind of group protests against that? A hate group. Show me the equivalent, where MRAs gather to shut down a similar event and attack it's attendees, if you can.

I really don't understand the backlash The backlash is something that has been deliberately manufactured by people who want to censor the movie. It's concept. Equality should actually mean equality, not the "feminism version" where you just focus on gaining more and more privileges for one half of society, while completely ignoring the needs of the other half and blaming all of society's problems on them. I don't think it's a stretch to say that feelings of loneliness can lead to depression and suicidal ideation in anyone. I also think that the average man probably has fewer friends, and has had fewer relationships, than the average women. So assuming that both of those things are true, it seems safe to say that loneliness could be a factor in the high rate of male depression and suicide.

That's a really great showcase of a feminist solution to something. "It's bad when someone has prejudices against others because of their gender, so we'll make it illegal for that to happen - to me." Does he realise that if women being more likely to be complimented on their looks pushes the idea that the most important thing about them is their appearance, then men being more likely to get complimented on achievements must also push the idea that the most important thing about us is what we achieve? Both cases devalue the person's humanity in favour of something fairly superficial. Do both matter?

What exactly is "infantile" in expecting men and women, girls and boys to be held to the same standards? Nothing. The fact that you made that post, when nobody is arguing otherwise is what's infantile. Even after being explicitly told that you're arguing nothing, with someone you agree with, you carried on because you're in full feminist-esque "argue mode" and your rage has made you temporarily unable to read. Read the posts you're replying to before you reply, you absolute morons.

Nobody's saying that wouldn't happen, nobody's saying that isn't wrong. You guys are arguing points that we agree on. I'm mindblown by what's gone on in this thread. I need to think about whether or not I can continue to associate myself with this infantile mindset.

Hang on, we seem to have made a hell of a jump from the comment I was originally replying to: Teach the boy to get up and kick the shit out of them. To what you're talking about when you say: Continuing to tell boys never to hit girls--whether it's because "you'll be arrested" or because "women are delicate"--will ensure that equality is never obtained These and very, very different things and I'm surprised I'm having to point that out. Nobody was advocating for the continuation of the "never hi…

You also don't fight injustice by getting yourself locked up by acting without thinking. Yes, it's wrong that women can physically/sexually assault men without fear of retaliation, but you won't fix that with a demonstration. They're not robots and cannot be defeated with a logical paradox. We have to actually get equality first, then we can act like we are equal. If you try it the other way round, you end up in a cell - the boy in the article would've been expelled, and the girls' victory would…

If you can think of a better name for It, let me know. Egalitarian. If we can't call people who put out fires "firemen" because it might put little girls off the idea of becoming one, then why would we call a movement about equality feminism and the force for evil and oppression patriarchy? Why would you not use the same logic for men as you do for women? Fire fighter. Police officer. Egalitarian.

Now they're spending considerable time trying to make it look like they care about men too. Have you noticed, that a few years ago the "official story" was that feminism does help men and that we should be grateful for it's help. Now that seems to be changing into "feminism isn't supposed to help men, it's for the oppressed women only!" They can't even pick a lie and stick to it. It's looking more and more likely that one day they'll lose their privileges, and that fact is making them desperate.

I wonder, what's the feminist excuse for trying to censor the film? Obviously they can't be honest and say they're scared of people learning the truth about them, so what do they say? I think both. I think that if the history and biology and social standards were all reversed, we'd probably all be acting exactly the same as the other half do. My guess is most people are like that, and it's only when they get a lot of facts in a short space of time, something that really jolts them, that they truly wake up. It'd probably be hard to find anyone born after 1960 who needed to take an outsider's look into feminism, because it's the mainstream view, everybody in the west already knows what feminism is about because they've had it shoved down their throat from a young age. It's complete chokehold on society makes the concept of a red-pill equivalent for feminism an impossibility. It'd make about as much sense as an outsider's look at democracy made by someone living in a democracy.

I think of single motherhood the same way I perceive single fatherhood - it's not ideal. I don't believe that one person alone should be allowed to dictate a child's life. I think, ideally, there should always be two parents, so that if the worst happens and one of the parents is a fuckup, there's a backup parent there for the kid. If you only have one parent, and that parent turns on you, you're fucked.

To some, "red pill" is what feminism was supposed to be - equality. To some it's just hate. I can't support the film until I know which kind the movie is about.

I see the trailer there but I must be missing the link for the full movie... Can you narrow it down a bit to compensate for the fact that I'm being slow?

If you approve of a woman's behavior, do you make a post online talking about how she's a real woman? Of course not, you'd be torn apart by woman and knights alike. Especially if you were the wrong gender.

Can you even imagine the outrage there'd be if some 350lb man wrote a book about men getting the power to magically kill any woman at any time? He'd be fucking crucified, not nominated for awards!

I wonder how she'll be held accountable for her actions. I wonder if she'll be held accountable for her actions. The girl who falsely accused me wasn't. She works with young adults with special needs now. I'm scared of leaving the house.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
