He's wondering how the driver survived while the person in the backseat didn't.

Which is why the question is interesting and the dismissive and aggressive responses are silly.

I think this sub is very much about hating not women, but the idea of women's societal pussy pass. It doesn't matter if she thinks, "I am a woman and therefore I can get away with this" or not; rather, because she is a woman, she probably will get away with it. Women don't grant themselves pussy passes. They are given them. When she doesn't get away with it, it's a win for society. It's not about her, and it's not even about women per se; it's about the "rules for thee but not for me" attitude t…
/r/PussyPassDenied28/05/22 04:22 PM
3

I think that is the idea, though. If a woman does anything at all stupid, and is called out for it, it's a pussypass because it's assumed that she assumed that she'd get away with it due to her vagina. I think in this instance she actually thought she'd get away with it because of her ideology. She's on the "right side of history," and therefore cannot be touched. Buuuuuuuut it's amusing anyway, so I ain't too bothered.

I'm not moving a goalpost. I'm saying that your argument is comparing a very fast animal that is potentially very difficult to escape, with a woman who is very easy to escape, given the situation. I'm not saying he SHOULD escape. I'm saying that your insinuation that she is as difficult to escape as a dog is not really true, so isn't a good comparison. Also, sexist? From Insider.com: Men are, on average, faster than women when it comes to sprinting and marathoning. From irishtimes.com: There is …

Have you ever had a fingernail in your eye? I don't think your argument there is particularly strong. He was definitely in danger. Even a child can potentially cause you damage if he hits you in the right place.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/05/22 02:50 PM
1

That's not a very good argument. Dogs are faster than humans and attack with their teeth. If this woman had attacked him with her teeth and he punched her out of sheer, primordial fear of being BITTEN, then that makes sense; otherwise, he could run away and as a woman she would be slower. I'm not saying he SHOULD run away or anything, I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying your argument isn't compelling.

/r/PussyPassDenied19/05/22 02:45 PM

I have to admit, as a neutral party, I can't say that your argument is too strong. You're basically admitting that she was being intimidated and should have run away, which means that the only reason the guy is not in the wrong, in your opinion (I'm guessing?) is that she assaulted him. If she hadn't assaulted him, then you'd presumably agree he was in the wrong for intimidating her and making it difficult for her to leave? Which means that the question here is one of self defense: Should she be…

I think it's pretty normal to think that way in America too, we just don't let it seep into our humor quite so much. At least not these days. My sister doesn't like when girls beat up on boys in these kinds of shows, and it can bug me too, depending on how it's protrayed.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/03/22 06:47 PM

I think it's meant to be funny. There's also a power dynamic there: Men are so much stronger that women are "allowed" to hit them. It won't really hurt them. It's kind of like letting a puppy chaw at your finger or a toddler hit your shins.

I think the problem is that a lot of people don't see corporations that make a lot of money as being a collection of human individuals. They're just "rich things" that should be giving their money others, selectively of course. The sentiment is enticing, for sure, but it ignores a lot of human factors in favor of the knee-jerk emotional "They wouldn't even miss that money!" reaction.

there really isn't anyone worth listening to who is arguing that women are perfect or shouldn't get what they deserve. Who, espousing such a perspective, would be worth listening to?
/r/PussyPassDenied28/01/20 01:59 PM
1

Yes, but this sub is a sarcastic rebuke. It's not called "masculinism" or "egalitarianism." It's specifically designed to show that women aren't perfect and can get their comeuppance. Feminism is supposed to be about equality, not ragging on garbage men.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/01/20 02:31 PM
6

It's a perfectly legitimate argument. You can argue against it, but to claim it's weak and not even worth a rebuttal is, in my opinion, a dodge.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/01/20 02:28 PM
8

Feminism is specifically fighting for female equality. If equality has been achieved (such as is possible and reasonable) then everyone should stop being feminists. It's not a state of being, it's a movement.
/r/PussyPassDenied26/01/20 02:27 PM

So if she liked boys between 16 and 18 she should have just hung around the local gamestop and met there, would have been perfectly legal. This would make a pretty hot erotic short story. . . .

Gotta admit, I'm still for traditional family units. I don't want my girl taking care of me, and I don't want her to have a job that takes her away from household and child-rearing duties. Oh, if a woman wants to do that, of course I have no say in it, except that I won't be the one to date her, which I'm certain to such a woman would be absolutely no loss, so we've come to a solid understanding, me and career women; it's men who have decided that they won't date women unless they make money who…

"Basically, they think you're so stupid and suggestible that you cannot resist the patriarch conditioning, while I, as a superior male, can just do whatever I want." Besides, what about the women who think that women aren't being allowed to be sexy? These movements (feminism/SJWism/Intersectionality) seem to always have about two-thousand different angles of attack, all contradicting one another, so that they can always complain no matter what you say. I'm pretty sure the term internalized misogyny exists so that anything that is apparently not men's fault can continue to be men's fault.

Or anywhere, really. 🤔
/r/PussyPassDenied02/11/19 01:24 PM

/r/PussyPassDenied02/11/19 12:40 PM

🤔 So in other words, men have privilege because of genetics, history and the fortuitous tumbling of the universe? I notice how, just like in evolution debates (oh, that's not evolution) and feminism debates (oh, that's not really feminism) et cetera, you eventually get to a point where the arguments come right back around to "null." So it was men's fault, it was men's fault, it was men's fault. . . and now it's. . . no one's fault? O.K., so then there's no problem?

I think that "white knight" is a phrase for a reason. I don't necessarily think these men think, "Ah hah! I could get sex by pretending to care." No, no, they think that they will reveal the truth of their compassion, and that women will respect them because of it.

I think it's just a coincidence. For instance, talk to people about a flat earth and you'll notice all the flat-earth deniers use the exact same language, even down to becoming irrationally angry about it. It's something that has made a lot of conspiracy theorists in general think that they're in a simulation or something. Items marketed towards women cost more (razors, deodorant, soap, etc) That has nothing to do with equality. Did you know that pink dyes cost more than blue dyes? You can buy the men's razors if you want. This is not an argument for or against equality.

I do think it's a little interesting at least that men were burdened with responsibility to house, country and family, tasked with the most dangerous jobs, and expected to die if necessary, but we focus only on how this affected women throughout history. I don't think in all of these societies women were considered lesser than their male counterparts, and if they were, why didn't they just make the women go fight and do the hard manual labor? I can't imagine seeing my wife as lesser, but choosin…

Honestly, it feels somewhat difficult to parse this. It doesn't give enough specifics. From what I can gather, everyone gets paid the same, but they were going to give women higher or more raises next year in one lower-level job category.
/r/PussyPassDenied17/10/19 12:38 PM

So in other words, there's no pay gap one way or the other, but they were going to give more or greater raises to women next year.

And then they'd force women to take it and I would not be surprised if more men past the test than women, whereupon women would say that the whole concept of the test is fraudulent and biased against women.

Basically, if you have multiple numbers, then you can just use numerals. If you have only one number in a sentence, then you would use numerals if it requires many letters (twenty-six, or five-thousand two-hundred and eighty-four) but you would write it out of it is a short number, such as ten, eleven, twelve, one or thirty. I think there's a rule about how many numbers as well, but I'm talkin' about half-remembered rules from 20 years ago.

I think they're right. The idea is that a woman is trying to use her womanhood to gain something or to protect herself from repercussions. This is just a person saying something dumb. Albeit, I'm sure that somewhere in her pea-brain she really believed that she would be safe from any rejoinder because she's a woman, but that's not apparent from the post. I wonder how she manages to be whatever age she is, having the work ethic to become popular—for even if it's "easy" because of her appearance, she still had to acquire her appearance, that is, she looks like she works out at least a little; even then, she has to make the videos with some regularity which many people won't do—yet she is both immature, and seems completely socially inept, incapable of navigating a conversation that posits even the slightest criticism.

I think she was saying that it's such a majority that it's practically (and when I use the word practically, I mean it in its real sense: Effectively; for all intents and purposes) all men. For instance, if 95% of bears in the world would IMMEDIATELY eat you if they saw you, would you bother delineating between bears who won't immediately eat you and those who will? Probably not. You'd just say, "Bears will eat you if they see you," since making the distinction would be practically (that is, eff…

I'm the exact opposite and every man I have ever personally known has been reluctant to go to the hospital and usually only goes when he breaks something or cuts something off. Just ask around. Men tend to be reluctant to go to the doctor.

I'm happy to have a good discussion on it with you, but we have to get past your bad arguments and try to find the good ones. For instance, " It seems you still want it to continue [with slavery]" is a non sequitur, an assertion and completely unrelated to anything I've ever said in my entire life. The strangest part of this is that you have a strong emotional response to me, but all of your assumptions about me are wrong. So you're mad at. . . nothing? /r/PussyPassDenied13/11/18 04:31 PM

I think that it has been changed because of people's feelings, personally.
/r/PussyPassDenied13/11/18 04:25 PM
13

Well fortunately definitions don't change based on your feeling. Then it seems strange to me that you are quoting a definition that has been updated due to people's feelings.

I don't accept your terminology. I simply don't believe that there is such a thing as a distinction between gender and sex. I think, in fact, that this distinction is regressive. This is the distinction that says, "Because little Timmy likes to play with dolls, he must actually be a girl."
/r/PussyPassDenied13/11/18 03:53 PM

It's an echo-chamber for those who hate injustice, actually. Some people might hate, but that's just a thing that humans do and isn't the point. You say that there are men who have the brain (functions, thought-processes?) of women. Can you back that up with a citation of some sort?
/r/PussyPassDenied13/11/18 03:46 PM

Scientifically speaking, they don't have the correct chromosomes. I don't know why simply saying that you're a woman is sufficient.

I was exaggerating about her being a double-bagger, but here's a random crowd in which I've circled (you may need to full-screen the picture) every girl that I think is more attractive than the girl in the picture above. I don't think hot chicks only exist on the movie screen. I just genuinely think that the girl above looks really bad in those pictures.

She put on fake tan for her court hearings?
/r/PussyPassDenied30/10/18 04:52 AM

Weird that she's physically attractive throughout the whole video, but every picture in the article here makes her look like a double-bagger.

I was going to bring up pregnancy, and that actually made me realize that this creates another problem: STDs. Even if we were to somehow agree that it is O.K. for an adult female to copulate with an underage boy, we'd need to recant when we consider that a young boy isn't smart enough to ensure she's been checked first.

I know it's just meanness on my part, but why spend money on fancy lingerie when you look like that? She should have spent the money on a gym membership and a paid MyFitnessPal account.

Can anyone give the context?
/r/PussyPassDenied22/09/18 07:36 PM

Well, I guess that's fair. If you upset her, then she should have simply stopped responding or blocked you. I'd be willing to bet she isn't even the one who reported you. Some busy-body with more time than sense likely did.
/r/PussyPassDenied15/09/18 01:58 PM

I'd have to agree on that one. Someone's boyfriend dies, she makes a bad statement and you just bloody annihilated her. Can't say I'd want you to be banned from Reddit -- a simple sub ban would have been fine -- but it'd be hard for me to defend you on this one. Not that I care personally. Reddit has a "block" button now, so no individual has much of an excuse to claim that they're being bullied; I'm just sayin' that even you should be able to agree that you were a bit of a cunt.

Can't they make them using 3D printers, now? If guns were somehow actually banned, and the government were able to go to the houses of millions of law-abiding gun owners and manage to get their guns from them. . . how long before Google has a sudden, swelling increase in "how to 3D print guns" web searches?

Did you mean "hypocrisy"? Cognitive dissonance is a feeling of discomfort that one gets from holding contradictory beliefs; it is not the fact of those contradictory beliefs.

I'd absolutely agree with that. It's kinda like capitalist-prison: You work not necessarily for your freedom, but to pay the debt you owe.
/r/PussyPassDenied21/07/18 01:57 PM

I kinda prefer Japan's law. I don't really like the idea of putting people in prison for many years. Are you really reforming someone with ten years of prison? Is a person in jail 10 years going to be more reformed than someone in jail for 5? Or 3? Personally, I think that if ONE year of prison isn't enough to make you reconsider your life choices, then no amount of prison will be.

I didn't say I had trouble with it, I said that it is ambiguously worded. I regret that we couldn't have a more amicable conversation.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/07/18 02:45 AM

I'm not really sure why you're offended that the title is ambiguous. You didn't even write it. Why are you emotionally invested in it? It's ambiguous. That doesn't affect you in any way. I even gave you the olive branch of acknowledging that your interpretation is almost certainly correct. If anyone failed here, it's the original poster. You've interpreted it properly despite his ambiguous wording.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/07/18 01:37 AM

You would also be correct about your interpretation of the title, but that nevertheless does not remove the ambiguity therefrom.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/07/18 01:30 AM

I guess it's just that /u/jeegte12's comment is ambiguous. /u/The1Honkey explicitly states that he's "not sure what your intentions are with this." He was arguing not necessarily against a strawman, but a possible argument that he wasn't sure about. Frankly, I'm not 100% certain what either of them mean.
/r/PussyPassDenied14/07/18 01:29 AM

I honestly can't think of any reason to down-vote this comment, unless you're factually inaccurate about something.

The title says, "A woman got the job he was more qualified for"; not, "A person got the job he was more qualified for, because that person was a woman." In other words, there is an ambiguity to the title. You know what it meant because you're reading it on /r/pussypassdenied, not because of an intrinsic lucidity.

Really? I somehow suspect that you'd raise her well anyway, even if you knew she'd eventually grow wings and not return, but live a happy life. You'd probably be sad about it, but would you withhold your affection and wisdom in that case?

I'm just saying that I don't think the word "they" necessarily distinguishes the network's opinion from the group's opinion, since the network isn't the group, so they would necessarily need to use the word they.

I'm not really into the, uh, nomenclature of this sub. I am not emotionally attached so I'm not really the one at which your statement is directed. I just think it's insane that there is a group who does horrible things all the time, but because the ones actually doing those things aren't in the majority (despite it being a huge number nevertheless) we are not only supposed to excuse the organization, but embrace it and all it represents. I generally associate pedantry with being concerned with what is correct; in this instance, it's a bit more emotional and little less logical. It's like nitpicking, except there was no nit to pick. Or the nit had nuance that meant it isn't necessarily wrong.

17:00 That's called hypocrisy, not cognitive dissonance. Cognitive dissonance is the feelings of anxiety one gets from holding two conflicting beliefs. This person feels no cognitive dissonance because that would suggest that she experiences the sensation of logical thought.

That fortitude has nothing to do with being dominant or avoiding vacuum cleaners. It’s a product of solid values and strong backbones. This is the most important line, I think, in the entire article. The average person, man or woman, does not know what "masculine" is supposed to mean. Women think it's a man who beats his wife. A man aspiring to fitness considers it to be a man with muscle and low body-fat, as does the teenage girl. Young boys think it's impressive feats of skill or athleticism. …

My point is that you don't seem to understand that over a person's lifetime, he might be able to gain 35lbs of muscle. If he's a genetic beast. So to be 220lbs at 6' and not be overweight, he would need to be at the peak of his ability, and have worked out for years. Since we can both (probably) agree that this is unlikely, I reiterate that you have a skewed perception of what a healthy body is supposed to look like. People don't vary that much. Well, if I'm right, then it contributes a lot to the conversation. According to this BMI calculator, which includes a control for height that the original BMI does not have, you can see that the highest healthy weight is around 190lbs. That means that a person would need to put on 30lbs of muscle while maintaining the same body-fat in order to be healthy at 220lbs if he is six feet tall. Unless he's taking sterons, or has perfect genetics and has been doing it for years, then it's highly unlikel…

There are multiple problems with that: They have tons of muscle. We know BMI isn't going to work for them. They likely take steroids, making BMI even less useful. I actually agree, but only insofar as the fashion is decided by pop culture, and to some degree, how skimpy of clothing they feel they are allowed to wear is decided by modern trends. (An average girl from the 1920s probably would not feel comfortable wearing most modern clothing-- at least at first.) Still, it's the women's choice to wear this or that, just like it is any individual's responsibility to lose the fat if they are obese or overweight, even if it was their parent's fault that they b…

I think that some of the persons at the top really pushing the agenda, and maybe a smattering of women here and there, but I don't think that being threatened is the main reason. I think it's largely just women wanting to be a part of something, and love the feeling of self-righteousness, and the pats on the back she receives from the millions of other deluded wastes of space.
/r/PussyPassDenied02/09/16 04:37 PM

That is almost difficult to argue against, since it lacks anything other than an assertion; moreover, I could, I suppose, argue that any character that was ever raped, murdered, or called mean names is another instance of disseminating evil patriarchal propaganda to keep rape victims, kids being teased and those who are murdered beneath the ubiquitous, pernicious rule of the white male elite.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/16 09:36 PM
11

They argue that this is merely a male's power fantasy, while the females are eye-candy for males. If a man isn't strong, it's because he's of course not being objectified, and if I woman is dressed conservatively, then she's being oppressed. In other words, it's not about logic, reason, or facts; it's about them being right, irrespective of the situation.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/16 09:34 PM
13

No doubt. Besides, look at this. More than a couple of the women are not wearing anything revealing at all.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/16 06:59 PM

That's a good point. Is there a problem with a compression shirt and shorts that go down to just above the knee? No, they just like to look sexy, and what's wrong with that?
/r/PussyPassDenied01/09/16 06:56 PM
131

Well, if we're gonna go there, I'd not call it sexism or anything else. The women are attractive, empowered, and could kill 99% of everyone on earth. If they want to wear skimpy clothes, they can wear skimpy clothes. In fact, I find that most women who work out choose to wear skimpy clothing, or otherwise clothing that makes them look sexy. These fantasy women are dressing how real life women dress when they know they look good enough to wear it.

Of course, but the problem is being addicted to food; the problem is when you crave the food so strongly that your eyes widen, your mouth salivates and you have no dignity within you. That is a huge part of what I hate about obesity. There is no dignity therein. It is disgusting, not just regarding health, but in everything it represents: The lack of self-control, the disregarding of physical beauty, the slothfulness, the eschewing of ambition-- all of it.

A man OR a woman at 200lbs will probably be overweight. Arnold in his prime was clinically obese. The fact that you need to use a man who is over 6 feet tall, taking steroids and with an abnormally large amount of muscle is actually a weakness of your argument, not a strength. Most men are not working out; even fewer are taking steroids.

It's not likely that a male can be a BMI of 30 and muscular. Not unless he's taking sterons and whey protons, or his whole life is centered on getting as muscular as humanly possible. The Rock is GIGANTIC, right? His BMI is 28.85.

Do people really care about thigh gaps? I thought it was just some frivolous trend that mostly women cared about, but the fact that it makes you look like Spongebob, and is based mostly upon genetics, made the concern mercifully die.

Aren't women normally fatter than men in a fat nation? I seem to recall in Saudi Arabia and other countries that were excessively obese, the women were more pervasively fat than the men.

Did you mean, "Forty percent of women are fucking up the Sexual Market Value"?

Well, yeah, this kind of food, and the abundance thereof, is unprecedented, I think. Who knew that one cup of jambalaya is almost 400 calories, and a single Oreo is 70? It's outrageous.

The larger society (pun intended) is rapidly catching up. No One Cares if Your Puns Were Intended Hey reader, you see that play on words I just made? Yeah, well that wasn't an accident. In fact, I thought it was so clever that I didn't think your simple mind would be able to comprehend the brilliance of my play on words, and I wanted to make sure you know that I'm not only smart enough to use homonyms, but that I'm smart enough to point them out.

You're right, but the point stands: Your "abs" aren't impressive. You're skinny, so they're visible, but they're small and very nearly unsightly.

Agreed. Either all you do is work out and eat well (and even then you probably still have a little chub) or you are taking sterons and whey protons.

Actually, skinny fat is when you have an acceptable BMI, but a higher body-fat percentage.

People should be grown up enough to handle being in a space with the opposite sex This is literally your argument, and it is a non-sequitur, on the level of the same bogus arguments that have been made about video games, music, movies, et cetera. YOU PERSONALLY DON'T LIKE IT. That is an inadequate excuse. Come up with something better.

Ah, well, if the agreement is that he has 24/7 services, then he can sue for false advertising, no doubt. I don't think this is a women verses men issue, but rather, a con!

Your argument is too complex, thus, I cannot comprehend it.

What you're saying is that no one should be allowed to make a gym, and then on the private property, have a dedicated time-slot for specific things? Your argument seems the equivalent of saying, "No one should play video games because adults should be doing adult things." Or in other words, it's somewhat of a non-sequitur. We can do adult things and play video games, and we can go to gyms that don't have a women's-only hour, or gyms that do have one. Supply and demand. Capitalism, and all that.
/r/PussyPassDenied03/08/16 01:12 PM

What's wrong with having women-only hours? Provided that men-only hours are allowed.

Indeed. If someone would just tell us, or y'know, draw a map or point to it on Google maps, all of the areas where these shameless strumpets pedal their immoral wares, then we could confidently leave our houses, secure in the knowledge that we will not mistakenly fall prey to this type of person.

Homosexuals can marry other homosexuals now, though, so you may not be out of that pit. Statistically, though, you are more likely to have some sort of STD.

Yeah, me either. In fact, I'm so disgusted by the mere idea of accidentally being in an area with one, I'd like /u/sinborn to tell me where they are, so that I can avoid those dens of iniquity.

Strangely, I do not disagree with your idea of justice, but I think "reasoning" with someone before murdering him is rather cruel.

John stood wringing his hands and staring at his feet, as he awaited the verdict. Something about the polished and stained wooden desk and the suits more expensive than one of his entire paychecks was intimidating, daunting. How had it come to this? The gavel banged twice, and John started. His heart pounded and he immediately broke into a nervous sweat. "John Smith?" The judge said, setting his hammer down with a gentle click of wood on wood. John stepped forward, cleared his throat, "Ah, y-yes…

What is this, an anime? Today I learned that personal respect is for cartoons. I do agree that the guy hits like a pansy. He should have hit her once, solidly, in the jaw, and laid her out. It was bad form on his part.

Fake. I am supposed to believe that after this interview, they let him return to that home?
